My sump pump went out on basement and basement was flooded with about 6 inches of water. they came within a half hr replaced the pump which took about a half hr and charged me $725.00. way over priced and I personally will never use them again. I don't care how desperate I am. $725 for a pump that took 1/2 an hr to put in. Sad how some places take advantage of people in need.

We had a hot water heater installed this week (our old one was at minimum 15 years old). We were quoted $1508 for a 50 gallon electric hot water heater. When they get there for installation, the water heater they have brought was too large for the space. So, they would have to get a thinner heater to fit. Wanted to charge an extra $340 for the heater due to the difference in cost, and the pan underneath. Upon complaint, they reduced this to $189 (in addition to the original quote). The heater starts leaking. The come out twice and replace the pressure valve, as that is where it was leaking. Still leaking as of yesterday, so they send (who I am guessing is a 'more experienced') technician out. Our heater needed an expansion tank! This is why it was leaking. He called the heater a 'ticking time bomb' without it, because the pressure could have caused the whole heater to split. And extra $225 for the expansion kit, which should have been installed from the beginning, and we lived with what he called a 'ticking time bomb' for 4 days. While the technicians were friendly (especially the one who finally figured the issue out yesterday), we're still highly frustrated and dissatisfied!

We have nothing but great things to say about Midwestern Plumbing. We have had a clogged laundry room and kitchen sink drain that we have been fighting with for years. Other plumbers we have had out have thrown up their hands and given up on our old house, but not these guys. Rich and Sonny worked tirelessly trying different access points until they were able to auger through. They put me at ease and were determined. For the first time since I moved into my house I can do dishes and laundry at the same time. Thanks guys.
