Home Generator : what an amazing company and experience from our 1st phone call to the installation. Tyler was amazing, he answered all our question, we followed all his recommendations and couldn't be happier. From our first call to the install Tyler walked us through everything. We also want to thank Isaiah and the work he put in as well, great work gentleman. We will definitely refer BCU to all our family and friends.

We used BCU Electric for an electrical box fire. This took a lot of time running new lines and placing a new box and breakers. They were very knowledgeable and professional. They did a GREAT job. We will be using them again! Thank you for your great work!

Disappointed actually. They charged what I felt was a lot even though they did not really do anything other than scope out the situation. For one thing, they did not have the tool they needed to do a high bulb replacement (long claw high ceiling bulb changer). It seems like that would be a standard tool for an electrician. Then said they did not have the necessary part anyway. Could not promise they could get it "from their supplier." We are a small organization and I felt like we were "small potatoes" so they didn't seem particularly interested in helping us out. Maybe we are not big enough. I don't know. Won't be calling them back.

2 days before Thanksgiving—12 guests for dinner, electric starts acting very strangely. We were afraid of fire or at least losing power. Jeremy and his co-worker were here promptly to replace our electric box, got everything working. We are so grateful that we are safe, the turkey got cooked to perfection!

Jeremy and his team were very helpful in an emergency situation. We lost our power pole that supplied our home. He was prompt and had our project started and completed the same day. Have never used this company but we will be giving out their name with nothing but good things to say. Helpful and informative from beginning to end.

I worked with BCU a few months back while adding electric to my pole barn. They were extremely professional and did an excellent job! They even cared enough to ask questions about what I would be connecting to the panel. This helped fit the panel to my needs making sure I had connections for the larger wire I would be running! I will continue doing business with BCU for all my electrical needs.

BCU put in a Kohler generator for us late last year. They are easy to contact and did the job when they said they would at a very competitive price with very professional people. We are very happy with the generator and will contact them the next time we need an electrical contractor.

BCU is my go to electrician. Always friendly and very knowledgeable. They did an addition and some re-wiring for me and I couldn't be happier. Have worked with them for years. A great asset to the Ashland community!

I only do reviews if service received was either absolutely horrible or absolutely outstanding.. nothing in between. In this case, I was extremely impressed with how well BCU handled my electrical issue.

The day before BCU came out, I had another company come out to look into a power outage I was experiencing in a bedroom. I had already done lots of trouble shooting of my own and informed the company (not BCU) of the issue I was experiencing and everything I already had checked and eliminated. They just checked the exact same things I did, then gave me a huge bill with no problem solved or even identified! I was pissed to say the least.

The next day I had BCU out to check the same issue out. I informed them of my own trouble shooting as well as what the other company did and said.

(This other company, (not BCU) claimed the issue was so bad it would be up to $10K to repair. But really didn’t know for sure what was wrong.)

So I informed BCU of all those details when they arrived and informed them I wasn’t willing to pay if they were just going to give me the same answer and no solutions with a fat bill.

They offered a discounted rate as an exception, but promised they would sort out the issue, with confidence. That it would not be anywhere near what the other company mentioned.

Within an hour they found the location of the issue, within an hour after that it was all fixed and back up again perfectly for just $360.

Keep in mind, the other company charged me almost the same rate for taking a Quick Look, not finding anything, then scaring us with a huge potential issue that would cost THOUSANDS.

To say the least, I was extremely glad I had BCU come out. These guys had all the right tools to quickly identify the issue and precise location down to the inch.

If I’m in this situation again, there’s no question who I’m calling.

Our internal IT Network was over 17 years old and in need of a complete overhaul. After contacting different companies to get an evaluation and estimate we decided on BCU. Rick Turske was extremely helpful and easy to work with. The cost of the total upgrade was more than reasonable and the whole project was completed in a very timely manner. I had an outlet in my downstairs dining room blowout and could have been a house fire, luckily it wasn't! I phoned BCU and told them the issue, they arrived at my house immediately. Took care of the issue and power was back on!! I can not praise this company enough! From the first call to Haley, down to the workers, Jeremy and Bryar that came to my house. The installation team was on-time, professional, clean, super helpful and made sure I was happy with the work. They understood the investment we made and wanted to be sure we got what we expected.
