Reviews of local pros in Baltimore, Ohio

Columbus Hardscapes did a fantastic job managing and installing our dream outdoor patio. It was a large scale residential project and every aspect was well executed. Our project manager, Chip, was a pleasure to work with on a daily basis and a great communicator. Our family looks forward to enjoying our new outdoor space for many years to come! Thank you again!

We had our patio installed by Columbus Hardscapes this spring and they did a phenomenal job. The initial process was very transparent and detailed. They showed us a visual of their mock-up, gave us options and suggestions for how to alter what they came up with in any way we wanted. They made it clear they wanted to fulfill any vision we had, while offering guidance on what the easiest/most reasonable way to accomplish it would be. Once we agreed on a design, they worked diligently to complete the work. The most important element while our patio was being built was the flexibility and transparency. Flexibility to make changes as we see fit, we made a couple and they couldn’t have been more willing to accommodate. Transparency in the progress of construction from the project manager the whole way. What elements they would be working on that day/week, how long it would take, any unexpected hurdles, etc. Finally, and this may be the most important element, they worked to finish the job to our definition of complete. They didn’t just collect the money and forget about us. The amount of attention and care felt the same at the end as it did in the beginning. We cannot recommend them enough, our experience was top notch and it feels good to have such a positive experience on something that’s such a major purchase. We would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone we know.

Having worked with landscape companies over the past 40 years with 3 different homes, we cannot begin to tell you what an incredible company Columbus Hardscapes has been. It was not an easy job (removal of a swimming pool and re-landscaping our entire back of our house). We hired Columbus Hardscapes and have had a wonderful experience.

They have been so responsible and responsive, on time, with a work crew who came early and left late, had an incredible work ethic, were easy to work with, willing to go with our flow, and had the entire job completed in 2.5 weeks. Their clean-up was meticulous and we were given care instructions for our new lawn and flower beds.

If you want excellence and a company that will work with to see your dreams come true, Columbus Hardscapes is the landscape company to choose. We are very particular about our home and our resources. Don’t waste time and money…Columbus Hardscapes is the best company value to make your dreams come true.

Columbus Hardscapes did a fantastic job on my patio and landscaping. Everything went very smoothly and we couldn’t be happier. I really appreciate the care they all took in designing the project and in completing the work. We also had great communication with them throughout the project.

Big thanks to Rob, Adam, and the whole crew for doing an awesome job. These guys were great to work with and we love our new patio.

Our patio was showing its age with dirty pavers, moss, weeds, and crumbling sand. Columbus Hardscapes cleaned and resealed the entire patio in less than a week, and we were able to enjoy it all summer. 6+ months later our patio still looks as good as the day the work was finished. If you are in a similar situation and wondering what to do, I highly recommend Columbus Hardscapes. They were communicative, excellently priced, and their work speaks for itself.

Kurtis and his team did a great job re-sanding and sealing our paver patio. They were very professional and prompt and I would highly recommend.

Excellent company to deal with. We are very happy with the patio that they installed 3 years ago and it's been a crown jewel of our backyard. It's spacious and looks so nice! Recently, it needed some maintenance done (new grout and seal) and Kurtis contacted us about a 3 year maintenance plans they were now offering. The patio looks brand new! I would highly recommend Columbus Hardscapes for your patio needs.

We have moved a number of times and built new homes during most of those moves. In the process, we have had a number of decks and patios built and we've learned what to ask and what to expect. As indicated above, we look for value ( workmanship and fair pricing) plus people who do what they say they are going to do. Rob and the other people we dealt with at Columbus Hardscapes met our expectations in all categories. We would easily recommend them.

From start(quoting process/Kurtis) to finish-the project went 100 % perfectly. The crew and project manager filled me in every day and suggested small little options that make the final result even better. Been getting many compliments on the project. It was a smaller project--but it was treated like a project 10X the cost. Will add I also used Columbus Hardscapes a year earlier for deferred maintenance/sealing on a preexisting patio and the results came out great. Having a hard time adding photos. Will try again. 5 stars +.

We met Rob and his team at the home and garden show. Yes, small company, yes, we had to be patient but I will say it was worth it. Our patio, pergola, fireplace and built in cooking area was no easy task. It was the wettest summer on record for the past 5 years! Despite it taking much longer than any of us expected, no one on the team lost interest or dedication to completing the project with the same level of detail as they did at the beginning. Moreover, when we experienced an issue with the gas light in the fireplace, Rob sent his team out right away to take care of the problem. I support small, local business! This is why we have called back for additional landscaping and referred Columbus Hardscapes to neighbors. I recommend Columbus Hardscapes.

We hired Columbus Hardscapes to deep clean, sand and reseal our 7 year old paver sidewalk and patio. All the moss, weeds and debris were removed via power washing and use of a circular cleaning head. This was followed by replacement sand being added finished with a sealant. After the first rain, post project completion, the water beaded up on the pavers which hadn’t been seen in many years. Kurt was very diligent in keeping me informed of delays to the project and provided new start times due to the wet spring. Matt, did an excellent job with all phases of the project, and was exceptionally meticulous in making sure the areas around the pavers, ie., house siding, garage door were clean of debris before he left. I was 109% satisfied the work of Columbus Hardscapes.

We met the guys from Columbus Hardscapes at the Home & Garden show and asked them to provide an estimate for some repairs to some areas that were failing on our patio that was installed a few years earlier by another company. Kurtis quickly came by and reviewed the areas that needed repair as well as gave us an estimate to add on some additional area to the patio we wanted to add.
We couldn't be happier, this team was prompt, professional and made us very happy with the choice we made. Ben and his crew were pleasant, very courteous and very fast.
Columbus Hardscapes is the only ones I will call for any future work we need. Thank you for the great service!

We had a patio installed in April, 2022. All of our interactions from the initial estimate to the final steps of installation were amazing. Our patio is GORGEOUS! I really appreciated the constant updates and check ins from our project manager. The crew were fast and worked so hard. They even finished a day earlier than anticipated. We are so happy with the choice we made.

For reference our patio is 38’ x 12’ installed with flagstone.

The whole process was great from start to finish! We were looking for a patio but were limited on space due to yard size but they designed us a beautiful and functional patio that provides plenty of space for entertaining thanks to the seat walls that we had not originally thought of but while still staying within the budget we initially set. The actual crew that installed the patio we’re all professionals as well that worked quickly but with great attention to detail in order to complete the project within the schedule they quoted from the very beginning but delivering a beautiful final product. I would definitely recommend Columbus Hardscapes!

I had an excellent experience with Columbus Hardscapes with a new concrete paver patio installation. Ray came out for an inspection/estimate very quickly after I had contacted them. He made the estimate process very easy by providing estimates for a variety of options and those included images of what the patio would look like. After agreeing to the estimate, the team including Chip, Rafael, and Ben came out and did an excellent job with the installation.

Their work was great, they were very transparent about the process, they did a thorough cleanup job, and even went above and beyond to help with a gutter drainage issue. I couldn't recommend them enough and will certainly think of them first for my future projects!

Wow! I was seriously impressed with Rob, Adam, and the entire team at Columbus Hardscapes. Rob was polite, professional and delivered a quality product. From start to finish it was easy. The workers are extremely professional and detail oriented. The level of craftsmanship really shows and you could tell they were expert installers. I couldn't be happier with the new patio, lighting, firepit, and front retaining wall that were installed. I highly recommend Columbus Hardscapes!

Columbus Hardscapes has completed two projects for us and we are thrilled with the results. First they constructed a patio with a fire pit and retaining wall; this was constructed using pavers and required a lot of fill. They fully landscaped it including a creek bed (to solve a drainage problem we were having) with a rock bridge. They recently completed landscaping the side of our house with stepping stones that tie into the back patio.
I would highly recommend Columbus Hardscapes! They do excellent work and their crews are courteous and they leave the project in pristine condition.

I had a paver patio installed in 2007 and I needed to have it power washed and sealed. Columbus Hardscapes was so easy to work with. They responded with a price I could live with, communicated when they would start and finish and were very professional throughout the process. I would use this firm again and am happy to recommend them to anyone interested in this type of work. The pictures speak for themselves.

Columbus Hardscapes cleaned and restored out patios and front porch from normal wear and tear to new like condition. The workers were knowledgeable and careful with surrounding structures. We will use them again.

Simply stated, the team at Columbus Hardscapes exceeded our expectations. From design through completion, they were great to work with through every step of the process.

Our patio, which includes a dining area, separate seating area, and firepit with seating wall, has provided a perfect outdoor space for our family. We are really glad we listened to Adam about the design, because initially we thought it might be too big. That is definitely not the case, and we love the extra space.

The quality of the materials, which Columbus Hardscapes recommended, was great and the team was incredibly fast and efficient in completing the project. The project was finished on-time and within our budget.

The crew that did the work was also very professional and they were always willing to stop and answer our questions (we had several). At the end of each day, and when the project was finished, they were very thorough in cleaning up the work site.

We highly recommend Rob, Adam, and the Columbus Hardscapes team for any patio project!
