Mike and Buckeye Lawn Care is a no-brainer. He is communicative, reliable, and does a high quality job. We have used his services for two straight seasons and couldn't be happier. He's filled in previous bare spots, helped with pest control, and kept the lawn pristine. Our guests routinely compliment how full and green the lawn looks, even in the thick of summer! Highly recommended.

We retained Native Landscapes LLC to redesign our 17 acres in Blacklick, Ohio.
They brush hogged, established woodland trails and maintain them, forest health management, dead and downed tree cleanup, and general vegetation management. They have really improved my property.

I attended a workshop a few weeks ago put on by Larry and the crew. I had a great time taking the tour of the property and benefited great from their knowledge of all the different species. The guys were easy to relate to and answered every question I had. I've already started to apply some of the things I learned to my piece of property.

I have to admit that over the past several years I’ve gotten caught up in the rage of implementing food plot programs, mineral sites and other food related strategies for whitetails. It wasn’t until I met Larry that I realized that we were focusing on a very small portion of the overall equation on what truly transforms a property to make a recreation property attractive to all species of Wildlife especially deer.

From the very beginning Larry fostered trust with us. He provided us with an overall habitat plan for our recreation property. Larry provided us with a well thought out plan that consisted of a timeline for improving the native forage, dealing with invasive vegetation, creating high quality bedding areas for our deer herd, creating quality water sources and a strategy for dealing with undesirable timber such as cedars that were blocking sunlight from regenerating valuable forest floor growth and stunting the growth of our valuable timber. I can’t recommend Larry enough. He’s a relentless worker and his creativity and valuable insight has been a tremendous aid to us transforming our property.

I attended a workshop put on by Native Landscapes, which consisted of Larry, and his crew of 4-5 others on a private 80 acre property. He also offers on-site and over the phone consulting and actual hands on work done on your own property.

Upon arrival at the workshop location, I was greeted like family with coffee and bagels! It was a relaxed and open environment where questions were encouraged and answered in depth, and/or discussed among the group to gain a deeper understanding of the topic at hand.

Larry and his guys have experience and passion, and are eager to share their knowledge to create better natural environments for a variety of purposes whether it's wildlife enhancement, erosion/flood control, forest health, and beyond. It was great to see firsthand the practices and equipment involved with property maintenance and how much of a positive change a well thought out plan can have on a particular area.

I was very impressed by seeing how they have begun regeneration of Oak trees back in the forest by using the techniques they have learned through research and experience as land management workers and consultants.

If you attend a workshop, make sure you are prepared to do several hours of hiking and observation throughout a 7-8 hour day on a variety of terrain/trails. Lunch and even a dinner was catered by Moon Mountain BBQ which was an awesome added bonus! Good ol' down home feeling with Larry and his crew, that got me thinking and I left with some good ideas I can't wait to start practicing on my own property.

Larry helped with some honeysuckle removal and soil prep and planting of clover for our new build. He's extremely diligent and professional and had good ideas for landscaping and future maintenance as well.

We contacted Native Landscapes to get rid of some poison ivy in our yard. They nailed that but did oh so much more. They removed many overgrown plants and gave us neat and tidy mulch beds on which we can make our garden our own. As we’ve been replanting, we’ve bombarded Larry with tons of questions via text and FaceTime and he’s been completely willing to give his time freely to offer advice and expertise. I get the feeling that gardening isn’t just a job for Native Landscapes, but a true passion. Highly recommend.

My experience with Native Landscapes has been nothing but positive. As soon as you meet Larry you know that you have made the right decision. Larry is extremely passionate about his work and this was very evident right from the start. From chainsaw work to expert advice, Larry and his crew are top notch. With Larry and Native Landscapes on our side, our management plan is gonna be stellar. Right now we are attacking the invasive species that have taking over our property. As well as taking out certain types of trees to open up the canopy to allow native plants to have sunlight and take off after the invasive plants have been wiped out. We recently purchased an 11.5 acre property with about 10 acres fully wooded. After listening to a podcast about building trails that encourage wildlife habitat and native species we contacted Larry at Native Landscapes about building out trails so we can enjoy the property more. He was timely in his response and he came out and walked the entire property with us to map out an entire trail run. He also made recommendations on our landscape that was overgrown with species that didn't show of the beauty of our property. His team was fabulous to work with and built out almost a mile of trails and revamped our entire landscaping. He showed us how to identify invasive species within the woods and the best method for removal. Since the trails have been put in we spend a lot of time with trail running and even got some snowshoeing in over the Holidays. The best part is seeing the increase in wildlife and various mushrooms that we never saw before. Not we are foraging a bunch of turkey tail mushrooms that are prospering. Larry is a professional, down to earth and very knowledgeable about everything native. Couldn't have found a better partner to bring our property to life.
