Tree reviews in Brunswick, Ohio

My neighbor had a tree removed 10 days ago. Hoffman put cones 5 houses up and 5 houses down from the house. Instead of parking their trucks on 1 side of the street, the parked on both sides, completely blocking off my street. They did not post "road closed" signs at either corner, nor did they have any flagger. Because of this traffic was constantly backed up 3-4 cars, trying to turn around. When asked to move by another neighbor who needed to leave, an employee became irate and was cursing, calling the person to get out of their car. I was outside shoveling snow so experienced this first hand. I was told the boss was 2 different people, I don't know. But they were nasty when I told them my garbage was not collected because they were parked in front of my house, which is a no-parking side. Later, a school bus was stopped for several minutes, waiting for Hoffman to move, and all the workers ignored it. The child needed let out at his house which was blocked off. The bus eventually turned around. The company was here all day. But when 4pm came, they moved all their trucks to one side of the street , to stop completely blocking traffic. I'm not sure if someone called and complained, or if it was because people would be getting off work.
I went back and forth about writing a review, as I didn't hire them. But they really caused a mess and a lot of aggravation for all the neighbors and traffic. Just consider their unprofessional treatment of the neighbors.

I highly recommed Hoffman tree service for your tree removal job. Hoffman tree service did not disappoint. They were prompt, professional and friendly. The crew worked together and with obvious high skill sets in each of there jobs. They did a great job of removing a massive tree that had fallen onto my house 2 days prior. They prevented any further damage to my house and cleaned everything up before leaving.
Truly a great crew with BIG skills!!!
Thank you ,Hoffman crew!👍

I would highly recommend Hoffman Tree Service. The crew arrived on time and worked tirelessly and professionally from set up to clean up to remove over 70 ft tree close to the house and utility wires. I thought for sure they would come back a different day to grind the stump, but they did that too the same day! Great job Hoffman crew! Looking at our yard today, you wouldn’t even know they were here just yesterday.

Ordered the wood yesterday got it delivered today! Quick turn around fair price and friendly staff! Thanks!

Brad and his team were fantastic. We had an 85ft or so tree in out backyard that was close to falling over. They came in and made quick work of the tree. Even with my driveway and yard being tight they were still able to maneuver and get the tree cut down. They were professional and did an excellent job cleaning up! I would highly recommend anyone looking for tree work to go with Hoffman Tree Service. You will not be disappointed!

This was my second time using Hoffmans tree service and they are very experienced and professional. Once onsite they assessed what was requested, also Jeramie was there to point out what needed to be addressed. They were efficient and had all the tools necessary to complete the job. I have already scheduled another tree removal with them in the future.

Excellent work, friendly, professional technicians that care about your property. Reasonable pricing and they were here when they said they would be. Large branches hanging over our home were safely removed and wood I wanted to retain was neatly cut and stacked. I highly recommend this company.

Professional, affordable , and no no sense !
We had 6 maples and a cherry removed with stumps ground. Huge job , Brad and his crew executed swiftly and seamlessly ,making short work of such a large task! If you want great service by great people then I recommend this company for sure.

Hoffman tree returned my call immediately, came out and quoted me a good price. I had a 90 foot oak in the back corner of my lot and they somehow maneuvered the crane back there and took the tree down in a day with very little damage to my lawn and landscaping. I highly recommend their service.

You cannot ask for better or more professional service. They were working on a neighbor's trees and still found time to walk over, assess my situation, and provide an estimate (which was very reasonable by-the-way). Received the official quote and scheduled the work. They arrived on-time, were professional and were very respectful of the property.

I will reach out again if I need tree services!

I highly recommend Hoffman Tree Service!!! I have a very steep, challenging back yard of tall trees that needed trimmed and the team led by Jeramie was amazing. They respected my property, knew what they were doing, were friendly and extremely professional. They are the only company I will use from now on!

Our job was done in a timely and professional manner. The guys were knowledgeable and answered all our questions respectfully . Great job!

I loved working with Hoffman Tree Service! The team was incredibly communicative on the plan to take down a couple of trees in our yard and when they came out, they were nothing but professional. I would highly recommend Hoffman if you are looking to have trees removed from your property!

Just had 5 trees removed and another trimmed. Very polite and friendly team. Did everything we asked and swept the street before leaving. Outstanding crew. Will easily recommend to neighbors.

Brad and his team did a great job removing several large trees from around my Mother's house. His price was very reasonable and I was very happy with his communication, professionalism and skill.

We were so grateful for all the professional and helpful advice that we got from Hoffman Tree service. He helped us assess our needs for very large trees on our property and even gave us a referral for another service for a second opinion. He addressed safety, financial and concern for the beauty of our property.

The crews Hoffman tree sent to fell my trees were the best! They protected my property and most importantly my neighbors property! They cleaned up really good with no issues whatsoever. From Bianca in the office to the professional crews a huge thank you! I will recommend you to all those people who need your services!! Bert Hockenberry

I ordered mulch and confirmed the coupon price with the individual who took the order and he said they would call back for payment. When they called back the price changed as they refused to honor the advertised price.

OMGGGGG is all I can say. Brad Hoffman is a Amazing man with such impeccable character & beyond reasonable for the services he provides . His workers were at my house today Louis and Mike their work was beyond impeccable. The workers were extremely courteous and cleaned up every piece of tree. I had a stump grounded, it made a horrific mess but these guys did a beyond amazing job and you couldn’t even tell I had work done by the time they left. He is one of the few business owners in this field that don’t suck the money out of your wallet. Honest, efficient, dependable. Hoffman Tree Service is most definitely the best tree service out there in Northeast Ohio. Call them you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend this company 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A few weeks ago I have purchased half cord firewood from Hoffman Tree Services in Brunswick Ohio. I’m very disappointed with the wood. Not only It is not dry and is not burning but I got a lots of dirt and bark with it too. I have contacted them to let them know about their wood quality and they didn’t do nothing about it. They only take cash so I could do much about it. I will strongly suggesting you to stay away from this company. I will definitely not purchase from them any firewood anymore. They may be good on removing trees, but when it comes to firewood….a huge NO , NO, …stay away. Very frustrating and disappointed.

They successfully removed trees that fell from the recent tornado. Besides that they’re very unorganized, the office tells you one thing and the owner or crew tells you another. They scheduled us one day, moved us up last minute, showed up in a hurry and broke a large corner off our new driveway because they were being careless and were rushing letting inexperienced guys drive large equipment. They put in their proposal that they don’t cover damage to your stuff so you’re out of luck if they do damage. owner did offer to come out and “repair” the corner but he showed up a month later and put a bead of caulk in the crack, didn’t even fill the void. I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t want your property damaged and left a mess.
