As a first time homeowner it can be challenging finding a contractor you are confident in to do things around the house. I had a bit of water damage in my basement that occurred before i moved in. I went from submitting a form on their website, to getting an estimate/consultation, to having a completed job in less than 48 hours. While that is not the norm anywhere, i was grateful for being able to cut straight to the point. Joshua was professional from beginning to end and worked with me to explore my options. We had an incredibly small issue (honest mistake) during the work, but his crew came back to fix it within 20 minutes of me talking to Joshua about it. I love when people stand by their work. I will call them in the future if I have any drywall/painting needs.

Not only did they do a great job but they were super easy to work with. Josh is a great guy, communication was great, they started quickly, came every day until the project was finished. It was a tricky project in the attic with lots of weird angles and tight spaces and they did a great job at a reasonable price.

We used Josh and his guys to insulate, drywall, and prime a detached garage. They were professional, prompt, and finished on time. Great resource to add to your Rolodex!

I got in contact with this company and the owner, Josh about a possible job shadow for my son who is in construction technology at Delaware Area Career Center. Josh was amazing! He was excited to host a job shadow and wanted to teach my son the career from all aspects. My son really enjoyed his time. I thought Josh was very professional and understanding. While I did not have any work done, I would call them if I ever needed anything. My son said he had a really good time and did learn about his interest in painting and other things. I was happy that my son got to spend the day learning and hopefully finding his passion. Thank you so much for taking time to invest in my son's education and experience!

Absolutely amazing service and employees!! Found more (hidden) damage after they removed some bad drywall, and had a plan that didn’t really add onto the cost of the original quote. And they finished it all that day. Will definitely be using them again in the future.

Abstract rules. We came to Josh with a huge and constantly changing project. We also requested the very technical & tedious work to place drywall in between ceiling joists (see photos)! Josh and his team were able to navigate these challenges with ease and precision. His work is beautiful, I highly recommend working with Abstract Drywall and Painting.

Abstract repaired and painted my ceiling and skylight box drywall that had a lot of water damage and stains. They were on time, were efficient, and did excellent work. They were careful in covering the other surfaces and in cleaning up after they were finished. They came when they said they would and did what they said they’d do. There was one small issue, and they were back the next day to take care of it. I would absolutely do business with Josh and his company again, and I highly recommend them for any drywall or painting work. Thank you, Josh! My ceiling looks better than new.

I reached out to Abstract to have a 5’ crack in my ceiling repaired. Josh was quick and responsive. He sent me an estimate within an hour of speaking with him and someone came out and made the repair and painted a few days later. They did a great job for a very reasonable price.
