This is a great company- I am so happy I found Tyler and company. I just purchased a 126 year old house that needed a fair amount of work done on the basement. Tyler came out to the house on time and gave me a detailed estimate on what work needed to be done. He answered all my questions and gave me alot of good information regarding the house. On the scheduled day for the work to begin, Tyler and his coworker promptly came to the house and commenced work. They made the basement beautiful, cleaned up after their work, and gave me a tour of what they had done. A few weeks later ( once the weather warmed), they returned to restore the outside foundation. Again, they arrived promptly, went to work and did a beautiful job. I will recommend this company to anyone I know needing basement work done. Tyler came to our new home to evaluate some major water intrusion in our basement. He diagnosed the problem, developed a plan, and knowing the severity of the issue, prioritized the work. He was so knowledgeable and professional, punctual and polite, as well as always available to answer any question we had. Kenton did the work of three workers and always had a smile on his face. Although no one ever wants to need basement repairs, at least I know now who I will call and who I will always recommend if the need ever comes up again. Thank you Tyler & Kenton.

Veteran owned. Knowledgeable. When they say they will be here they are on time. Very clean and neat. Keep work area tidy. Respectful. They are so knowledgeable about foundation issues and the proper way to fix the problem not just doing a bandaid fix.
The owner is Tyler and he is on the job site at all times working. Easy to converse with. Takes his time getting you to understand what they are doing to correct my issue .

We had this company look at a foundation. Had a footer break and were hoping to repair it without the cost of installing expensive push piers. They were honest on what they would need to do to fix it, but suggested that if it wasn't settling more, that we would be structurally fine. They suggested a clever solution to monitor the foundation at very little expense. Very honest and professional. If you are having foundational issues, I'd use this family business before the big companies any day of the week.

Basement Remedy was a terrific resource for us as we navigated the maize of how best to waterproof our basement. While they were unable to do our job, they gave us advice about the best way to make sure our basement was dry and how to do it in an affordable way. We contacted Basement Remedy to have our sagging floor evaluated. Our home is over 125 years old and knew going in this would be a lot of work. Todd and Tyler came out to assess our situation. They were clear in stating the detail and scope of the possible work that may need done once everything was exposed. Believe me, we hate hiring anyone to do anything for us, but after meeting Todd and Tyler and reading their previous reviews we felt comfortable with diving into this project. Upon tearing up the floor they quickly assessed our problems, consulted with an engineer and offered us our options. The repairs included replacing sill plates, all new joists, new LVL support beams over new footings, French perimeter drain and crawlspace encapsulation. Tyler and his crew were on the job every day till completion. They worked well with and around other contractors.
I can't say enough about the quality of work they performed. Every fastener, support, beam and footing were done to a specification. It's the kind of quality you see on This Old House. Thank you Tyler, Todd, Tristan and Rhet.

I would highly recommend Basement Remedy for any water leakage you may have in your basement and give them a 5 star rating. Todd, Tyler and team are experts in identifying the root cause and recommending solutions for your specific problems. A few years ago I had some water leakage issues in my basement and had at least 3 or 4 service providers/contractors come and give me estimates with their resolutions. All of them different and in my opinion didn't address the root cause. I finally reached Todd after doing more research and even before he came out to assess my situation he gave me his opinion of what the root cause was. They fixed that specific problem and also fixed a few other problems I was having. A few weeks ago after the bad storm we had on Christmas weekend I had another leakage issue. Basement Remedy (Todd) called back before the end of the day and Tyler me scheduled for the repair within 72 hours after giving me an estimate. Service was performed (weep holes) installed and after the last rain no more leakage. I would highly recommend Basement Remedy to identify "your root cause" of your specific issue and recommend a solution that "fixes your issue". Definitely not a "one size" fits all solution.

Basement Remedy performed a large drainage project around my 150-year-old farmhouse and they did an excellent job. They had experience in historic foundations and knew what they were dealing with!

In the course of excavation for the drainage project, we found that some foundation stones needed to be replaced, so the gave me a timely and cost-effective estimate on that, and we scheduled the additional work very soon after the drainage was completed.

They listened well, worked hard, were always a pleasure to talk to and I will be definitely be hiring them again for future projects.

Outstanding quality. Outstanding service. Outstanding communication. Basement Remedy clearly cares about your project and makes sure it gets done correctly. Basement Remedy's knowledge and attention to detail are so far above other contractors. They are highly ethical, are clearly transparent about costs and materials. They keep in constant contact with you then entire project. We have use them on several occasions and they have always done an excellent job, very quickly, and were very responsive to our needs.
Most recently, two brick pillars were damaged by a car accident at the end of our drive way. Basement Remedy came out quickly and gave us a detailed quote to get the insurance process started. They then accurately matched the brick to out house and went above and beyond to find the right materials for the job. They worked in all weather conditions, including snow, using tents and heaters to get the job done. At the end of the project, when insurance refused to pay, they gave me ALL of their detailed receipts so I could successfully fight the insurance company. I can't imagine using any other company for a foundation or masonry project.

My wife and I spent a long time searching for someone to address problems with our foundation and masonry chimney. Everyone we talked to had a plan, but no one was willing to offer more than a guess as to the underlying cause. The engineer we hired was also at a loss to explain some of what we were seeing. In the end, he found no cause for alarm and recommended that we take a wait a see approach. We waited and the problems got worse.

I share that history to underscore the night and day difference we experienced with Basement Remedy. From our first meeting, Todd made it clear that no plan would be put forward until he understood what was going on with our house and could explain it to our satisfaction. Todd was true to his word. He and his son, Tyler, took the time and did the difficult work that needed to be done to trace our foundation and chimney problems to their source. Those findings and related recommendations were thoroughly documented in an assessment put together by an independent engineer brought in to work alongside them. The plan that Todd and Tyler presented addressed the engineer’s recommendations as well as our concerns. After years of struggling, we finally had the information we needed to make a decision. I had no second thoughts about approving the plan and moving forward with Basement Remedy.

Tyler led the crew responsible for stabilizing the foundation, and Todd worked with another employee on the required masonry repairs. They kept us informed, took as much time as needed to answer our questions along the way, and did their level best to limit the impact of a project so large the likelihood it would disrupt our lives was a given. From the careful attention they gave every aspect of the job to the quality of the materials they used, they went above and beyond to ensure a result that met their own standards and our expectations. In the end, they succeeded in rescuing our home and bringing an end to worries that plagued us for years.

Todd and Tyler were a pleasure to work with. They’re conscientious, patient, easy to talk to, and willing to help in whatever way they can (I benefited from side conversations about gutters, backup sump pumps, and the best way to repair a broken drain line running from a downspout to the street). They kept their promises and never gave us cause to question our decision to work with them. I trust them. Great experience with Basement Remedy. My home was built late 1800’s- 1900. A section of our foundation block was crumbling on the outside. I had contacted a couple of other companies that wanted to dig trenches on inside and install sump pump and heavy plastic. Wasn’t addressing my concerns of crumbling block. Todd and Tyler came over and listened to my concerns and immediately had a plan to address my concerns. Replaced 2 sections of block with new block. Rerouted outside downspout drain. Job was completed within 2-3 weeks after meeting with them. Todd and Tyler were very responsive when I called or texted them. Continued to follow up with me after work completed. I have them coming back for a new project, a concrete porch repair. Great guys to work with.

I highly recommend Basement Remedy if you have any concerns regarding the condition of your basement walls, drainage, and/or foundation. They assisted me in evaluating the basement of an old house I was considering purchasing and I was very impressed by their expertise, responsiveness, and ability to communicate back to me quickly. They took the time to explain each issue the basement had, their likely causes, and the various means to treat or repair the problems. They provided a very detailed estimate and answered all my questions. Had I purchased the house, Basement Remedy would've been my first choice to perform the work based on the level of customer service I received!
