    REVIEW Liberty Electric HVAC
Called John 1 week ago, we had some remodeling of our lights in kitchen and dining room. John came to inspect, got us an estimate for work 7 days later. He and his son Mike were here on time, were very clean and quite thorough. Left wife and I smiling with glee 3 1/2 hours later. It looks fantastic, we’re having them right back for basement lighting remodeling. Without hesitation, would rate them 5 stars for rapidness, cleanliness, economy, etc. Thank you so much John and Mike, hope to see you soonest for next job.

They did an awesome job. Only contractors out of five that Forest Park inspectors didn't have a problem. They know the codes for city, state, and national. Their work is rock solid, and the value of their services is surprisingly amazing. Thier did our service drop replacement after a storm damaged it. They also ran a new service line to the basement when the basement waterproof worked failed the electric part. After witnessing their top-notch work, we decided to get 2 inside light fixture replace and 4 outside light fixture replace. They never disappoint us and will recommend them to anyone, and most importantly I will use them anytime I need electrical work done.....they are a keeper.

John and his son installed a Tesla charger for us in our garage. It was as far from the electrical panel as you could get, but they did an amazing job. They were able to reconfigure our electrical panel to make room for the Tesla circuit breaker, routed the wiring through the basement where you don’t even notice it, and up into the garage exactly where we needed it. Pricing was fair. Service was superb. They were on time, fast, and efficient. They even went through the panel and retightened all the connections, and we had them service our AC for the summer at the same time. Highly recommended

Appreciated John’s quick service. He quoted the job and then was able to complete it within the same day. Price was within imagined range for prompt and professional service. Overall very satisfied with Liberty Electric experience.

A.c. unit is not even 4 years old and has already had multiple issues. Leaks in lines, blower already has stopped working.would not honor the manufacture warranty or their service warranty. Would not recommend.

The owner's son 'grounded' my outlets by tying the neutral into the ground rather than installing GFCIs on the circuit or a GFI breaker for where they were needed. I was charged per receptacle and all they did was make some of these circuits potentially unsafe. Terribly overpriced for what they offered.

    2/15/24:

This is in response to the person replying: No, you did not explain how exactly you grounded the outlets. If there are 2 wires in the box, you should not tie the neutral into the ground. I did not realize this was a problem until 6+ months ago when I had to replace a dead receptacle on a circuit you worked on. It showed as grounded when there was no ground wire in the box. Why am I supposed to 'check your work' after the fact if I'm not satisfied? You should do it properly the first time. You should have also fully disclosed that the proper (and code compliant) ways to achieve what I asked were either replace the breaker with a GFCI breaker or replace regular duplex receptacles with GFCI receptacles, NOT tie the neutral into the ground on the first receptacle in the circuit. I am not an electrician and I know for a fact that is the improper way to do it.

Yes, cost was disclosed before and after but looking back at the invoice, it was still expensive based on what other electricians have charged me for similar work.
