A very old and giant ash tree was diseased and dying, and it had to be removed. The tree was in a precarious location between a fence, a historic home, and a garage. There were also lots of wires and a main electrical line. Taking it down would be dangerous and difficult. Clean Cut Tree and their lead climber (Alex) did an excellent job from start to finish without any damage to surrounding structures.

The only reason this isn't 5/5 is because of the phone service. Getting people to call you back is a chore, and the crew was tardy, BUT, the work was outstanding. My yard needed hundreds of pounds of concrete, dirt, branches, debris removed. Anthony and his parter were very thorough and we'd hire them again, hopefully the phone/customer service can catch up to the caliber of work.

All this company did was waste my time. Paul came out and sent me a quote instantly. I was happy with it, and ready to move forward with work, but I realized that we forgot to include some dead branches. I asked if he could send an updated estimate with branches included and he said that he would. A few days went by and I never received the updated quote, so I called and emailed them and spoke with the girl in the office, but they just left me hanging. Now I have to start getting new quotes. Thanks for nothing!

The Clean Cut crew did a great job removing trees and cleaning the area. They seemed very knowledgeable and skilled. Trees were felled in precise areas to avoid all obstacles.

Gave me an estimate. When they showed up to do the work they jacked the price up several hundred dollars. VERY unprofessional. 3/22/22 - I see they decided to respond after several years. You don't give someone an estimate, then tell them it will cost $300 more when you come out to do the work (I think your estimate was around $400 and you wanted $300 more when you came out to do the job). I have had lots of tree work done. Nobody else has ever pulled that stunt. And here's the kicker. The Duke energy guy that had dropped the line came back to put the line back up and asked me what happened. I told him and he did the work for the estimate that you guys originally gave me. I even gave him a $50 tip. So whine all you want

If I could give 0 stars I would. We waited several weeks after contract to get them to come to our home to complete work. My husband called several days in a row, took our fence down as they said they would be there on a Monday. No show, no call for 3 days following. Finally after work is completed, we received invoice and I called office with card #. Receptionist took info down as “accountant” was not available. I requested an emailed receipt immediately following but never received anything so i called 2 business days later and same lady told me “our accountants basement flooded.” What business goes into their personal life stories to make excuses? So i waited yet another week and after not being charged AND no receipt or correspondence with them I called back. This time the accountant was on a “college visit.” My husband called one more time a couple weeks ago and “it will be charged tomorrow.” Shocker, that didn’t happen. We have since tried to contact 3 times to pay our bill as card has since expired and we have a new #. But miraculously they email tonight threatening “collections” They have zero business etiquette and should absolutely acknowledge they dropped the ball after we have practically begged them to take our payment. This business is not to be trusted because now I have no idea what the receptionist would have done with my previously provided card number because obviously taking it for payment didn’t happen. Good thing the card expired.

Clean Cut Tree and Landscaping has removed several large trees from my yard. They have also removed several bushes as well as tree stump removal and grinding. We received quick, professional service. I would highly recommended them for your tree and landscaping needs.

Very satisfied. Clean Cut removed a 30' ash tree. I called for service, they came out and produced a written estimate, then scheduled the work (1-3 week window). Everyone was very friendly and professional. Special thanks to the crew for a job well done.

Kevin and his crew were outstanding. I am in awe of their skills, professionalism, and attention to detail. They took down a 50 +Foot Maple tree in our fenced in backyard.backyard in under 3 hours. This included cleaning up (blowing, raking, etc) and hauling away all the debris.

Your guys did the best tree removal. 3 trees in about an hour and a half. We had one removed several years ago and it took most of the day. I cleared my schedule today to make sure I was available and now…. they are done and gone.

They also did an awesome job cleaning up. Better than I expected.

I am in the house flipping/new construction business and these are hands down the best arborists I have ever worked with. Alex and his crew never stopped working and had 7 trees cut down and hauled away in half a day. They showed up on time and got right to work. The job site was left clean and tidy after they were done and they were an absolute pleasure to work with! They will always have my business and I could not recommend them enough. The crew at Clean Cut came out and thinned out our silver maples. These guys were the best; fast, clean and friendly. We were more than pleased with their services. You couldn't even tell they had been there from cleaning up so well afterwards. I would recommend this company hand down

The Clean Cut crew came over today to remove two trees from our backyard (one was enormous) and prune and shape various trees on the property. We could not be happier with the job. They were professional, courteous, and went above and beyond expectations. Our yard looks stunning and they left it (and our driveway) cleaner than it has ever been. Kevin, the crew leader, is passionate about his work and took the time to explain everything in detail, and offered advice and suggestions as he performed the job. We will definitely hire them again for our tree removal/pruning needs in the future. Highly recommend.

Lux Tree Service did another perfect job for me! 7 men (one was A tree climber) arrived at my house with a huge crane , wood chipper, mulcher, dump trucks and other machines at 7:30 am and started work at 8:00 am.to remove a huge Pin Oak in the front of my house I have lived with for 31 years the day before Thanksgiving. Lux moved my stone work to another location and dug up all my perennials and put them in containers so I could use them again in the spring when they planted my new tree. Lux grinded the huge stump. I was then shown how compromised my tree was with all the black rotted wood from the trunk. By 5 pm all was completed and cleaned up with no dented or saw dust the ground was leveled and it all looked beautiful. I was ready for thanksgiving. Thank you Cameron for educating me without any pressure about my tree so I could make the right decision on what I should and needed to do. I definitely made the correct decision for everyone’s safety after seeing all that rotted wood(. it was estimated that my tree weighed 25 Thousand pounds ). I would not have known this if it wasn’t for Cameron’s expertise on trees. Thank you again Lux Tree Service! See you in the spring.

If you need a tree taken down like we did, it was quite a large tall tree. The work done today was professional and cleaned up perfectly, better than I could do. Skilled workers and polite. Easy to speak with and all information is explained beforehand. I will use this company again and would say. you can’t go wrong with calling and setting up an appointment. Time was met and work was beyond my expectations. My yard does not even show work was done. Like the tree was never there.
