Reviews of local pros in Cincinnati, Ohio

These guys hustle! I had a huge job with removing 9 trees and they completed the job in 1 day! The team that came were very professional, nice and thoughtful on how to down the trees without causing any damage; I even had a tree resting on a split rail fence that went 20 ft into my neighbors yard. They removed it without disturbing the fence or my neighbors property. I can't say enough about these guys and their work. Thank you Joe!

They did an excellent job taking down a tree that was next to my garage and almost touching a neighbors fence without any damage to either. When they finished you could not even tell the tree had been there and they did not leave any evidence of taking it down. They cleaned up all the debris. Really pleased with their work quality and ethic.

I’m very happy with the job they did for cutting down my trees. I had 5 large trees to be cut down. Not only did they cut those down they took down some other 1/2 dead trees, cut the wood up and neatly stacked it for us. They put plywood down to prevent the crane from damaging the yard. They were very organized and efficient. They left my yard and driveway cleaner than when they came. I would defiantly recommend them.

The team did an excellent job and exceeded my expectations. Mr Semrad provided a clear quote following our discussion of the requested work and provided clear plans on time and work activities. He arrived on time and completed work just as we discussed. Work was completed and thoroughly cleaned, that you would not have known where the tree was that was removed. The other trees that were cut, were also cleaned and all debris removed. I will use the service if needed in the future.

I had a great experience with Scapes. They removed a couple of dead spruce trees and trimmed a giant oak, and left everything in perfect condition. They also removed multiple stumps. I was astounded by how meticulous they were about the cleanup. I was really impressed by their dedication to going above and beyond what I felt was required.

Great quality and great value. Joe was also very nice and friendly every time.

Joe and his company just finished up removing two tall spruce trees and trimming back birch limbs that were hanging over from our neighbor’s yard. They showed up when they said they would and got right to work. Since there was no room for their bucket truck in our back yard, their climber went up the trees trimming branches as he went up and then started at the top and removed the big trunk pieces in about 5 ft sections on his way down.
They cleaned up as they went and were finished in around 2 1/2 hours. Their quote was very reasonable compared to others. We will use them again when tree work needs to happen.
Very happy with the results .

Scapes did a fantastic job trimming up and cleaning up a huge tree in our front yard! I was amazed at how quickly they were able to get all of the dead branches removed and how professionally they cleaned up after taking the branches down. The crew was incredibly kind, professional, and hard working. Today is a windy day and I'm grateful that I can look out at our tree and not worry about the branches coming down. Thank you!!

This company pruned my neighbor's 60 year old oak tree today. It was lush and beautiful before they went to work. One afternoon later and it looks like a 5 year old's drawing of a stick tree. Any arborist worth his salt would know not to remove more than 25% of a mature tree's canopy. At least 50% of the foliage was removed and in a severe drought, no less. Not only will the tree be stressed from the drastic pruning, it will now be more susceptible to disease and insects.

I see that most of the positive reviews are from people who had entire trees removed. I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you need educated and beneficial pruning of a tree.

Great work by Joe and his team. They removed at least seven trees and about 11 stumps. Joe suggested items that we hadn't thought of that would improve the health of the trees. The trimmed trees look more airy and balanced, and were trimmed away from the house. He also referred us to a pest control person to remove the hornet nest he discovered, and a fence person to fix our gate problem. All in all, a great experience!

Scapes is a great Service, they came out and removed a tree from my back yard their pricing was competitive, the crew was extremely friendly and professional. They did a great job cleaning up cleaning all the debri that was dropped during the removal of the tree and more. They even went as far as blowing off the neighbors yards and cars. Would recommend to anyone and use again myself.

Joe removed a large tree from our front yard. He also trimmed three other trees. He also removed three stumps, two evergreens, and two bushes. He also removed many surfaces roots from the tree in the front yard. It only took the crew 2 days to get it all done. He had the equipment and very good workers to do the job. They cleaned up everything. We've had many compliments on the way the trimmed trees look. I would highly recommend Joe and his crew.

Joe and his crew did a great job of trimming 3 large trees. Had to climb these trees to do the work which was quite something. They were very professional and respectful of our property and the adjoining neighbors. Cleaned up everything very well. The fee was fair, reasonable and competitive. Will use again and I highly recommend. Jo Ann Ropp, Montgomery

Joe Semrad and his crew arrived on time today and removed 3 trees and did extensive trimming in our backyard. I appreciated the care they took to protect my yard and brick sidewalk and my next-door neighbor's yard (which they needed for truck access) with large sheets of plywood. They cleaned up our yard as they worked, promptly adding sections of tree trunk and branches to their chipper. They had an expert climber who went high in our large box elder tree to trim out dead branches, thereby greatly enhancing the tree's appearance. Their extensive trimming made our backyard look fantastic! At my request, they set aside a pile of chips for me to use later for a woodland pathway. I will definitely hire them again the next time I need tree removal and/or trimming!

We had Joe and his team remove three dead trees and trim a 4th one to help keep our home safe. They were extremely efficient and knowledgeable as well as friendly and informative. Our property was cleaner than when they arrived and it's been one of our best experiences since we bought the house in 2020. I highly recommend Scapes to anyone that needs comparable work done on their property. We're definitely going to use them again when the need arises.

The experience with Joe and his team was exceptional. First of all we reached out to several companies to trim our trees, since the front tree was so overgrown and touching our house and blocking the sidewalk. We needed someone quickly and efficient. Joe was the only one who personally responded. He evaluated our trees, gave his expert opinion and emailed us an estimate for the job. He scheduled the job the following week. Joe was in constant contact with me and showed up on time to do the job. He was professional, did the work, cleaned up the yard, had the proper equipment to do the job. He truly cares about the quality of his work and appreciates the trust we placed in him to do the job. Highly recommend and if the need arises I would definitely call on him again.

Quick, painless, and very reasonably priced. These guys do great work and are very professional, will make your experience hassle free. Highly recommend them and will be using them if we have need in the future!

Scapes did a fantastic job! I had 8 large trees trimmed and 4 small ones removed (stumps included). Trees look thinned out and natural, not hacked on. It took three trips to complete but was always told what to expect & when. And there was never anything left behind; the yard always clean & neat. Overall, my property looks great. Just a first class job - Thanks!

Scapes did a brilliant job! I contacted them as I had a tree drop a couple of large limbs close to my house after a storm. They were quick to respond and came out the same day to assess the tree and discuss the requirements for the effort. They told me exactly what to expect and followed through! I had the estimate the very next day which I promptly approved, and they were here when they said they would be to complete the effort. They went above and beyond completing the job and leaving my property looking better than before!! I HIGHLY recommend Scapes for ALL tree trimming and removal needs!!

Today (8.10.20), Joe and his team from Scapes, Inc completed the removal of a 75ft, 4 ft in diameter tree. They did an amazing job. The entire process was extremely professional from Joe's initial written proposal (including his insurance info and scheduling a 30 ton crane to assist with the project), to various communications throughout the process, culminating with the actual work itself which he was able to complete sooner than he initially thought. He completed the job for the exact price of the quote and was more affordable than 3 other quotes I received. His team did a great job cleaning up my yard and even the neighbors yard as the tree was on the fence line. One of his employees was even picking up debris by hand to make sure they cleaned everything up properly. During the process, Joe noticed some old tree clippings and debris I had in the back yard and offered to clear that for me as well. And, several of the neighbors hired Joe to clear some of their tress. I would highly recommend Scapes. They exceeded my expectations in every way.

We couldn't be happier with the large amount of work done in our yard...multiple large trees removed, plus an overall clean up and grooming. Everything looks great! Joe and his team are very professional and take a tremendous amount of pride in their work. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to meet your needs.

I rarely write reviews or offer recommendations but Scapes is an outstanding company. The absolute best tree service company I have ever used. Professional employees, high quality equipment and exceptional attention to detail. We had a large area cleared of damaged trees, brush and honeysuckle. Scapes arrived on time, every day and worked efficiently with great teamwork. They protected surrounding property and completed the job without damage to the driveway or lawn.
I highly, without reservation, recommend Scapes.
