Reviews of local pros in Cincinnati, Ohio

Jacob's Tree Service did a phenomenal job removing three trees from my back, two of which were right next to my house, and one was right next to power lines running into the house.

The workers were punctual, professional, courteous, and were hard workers. They did a thorough job, _including_ spreading out the wood shavings from the stump grinding, putting patio furniture back that had been moved, and cleaning up after the work had been finished.

I was given a great price for the tree removal, and would recommend them without hesitation. This review was not made in exchange for any reduction in price or services; I waited until after the work was done and payment was made.

I will definitely call them again for my next tree service.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring Jacob’s Tree Experts, and I couldn't be more impressed! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. They showed up right on time, which is always a great start.

The team was not only efficient but also incredibly skilled in their work. They tackled the job with precision and care, ensuring that everything was done to perfection. It was clear that they are true professionals, as they possess all the necessary credentials and liability insurance, which gave me peace of mind throughout the process.

I highly recommend Jacob’s Tree Experts to anyone in need of tree services. Their dedication to quality and customer satisfaction is evident, and I will definitely be reaching out to them for any future needs!

This team was EXCELLENT.

Fast, safe, went above and beyond for me. Thorough in the walk through before the job. Recommended things I did not notice. Also told me about “not necessary yet” items that I thought were needing immediate attention.

Quote to job took 7 days. Most companies are quoting me 5-6 weeks before the job can be done. Their quote blew the rest out of the water. Fair and felt like an even handshake.

The post walk through of the job and items they did was also a great touch. Crew was polished and professional. Owner and Super both stopped by to QC the job as well.

Holler at these guys - full confidence.

Mr Montoya provided pricing in a timely and professional manner. the crew did an excellent job on trimming 2 large trees, removing a large pine tree and grinding 3 stumps. The entire job was as agreed.

Excellent service. My husband and I just had 4 trees cut down in our backyard by this company. They do AWESOME, THOROUGH, FAST, EFFICIENT and WELL-THOUGHTOUT work. They cleaned up the area and the workers were very friendly. As they worked I sent my neighbor their info so they can contact them as well. They cut down the last of our trees BUT if we had more trees that we needed to address they would be our first choice!!!
GREAT COMPANY!!!!

Prompt response.
Prompt to schedule and get job done.
On time- courteous- quick.
Clean up was fast and thorough.
Very impressed will recommend

I echo what all other 5 star reviews have said. Hurricane Helene winds and rain in Cincinnati toppled over an old rotted oak tree partially onto our property, missing our house by inches. We also had four large maple trees toppling over our roof that needed to be cut down too.
The crew tacked the large project in one day. When they were done, you'd only be able to tell there was any storm damage by the fence that was taken out by the tree falling. They got the maples down with what appeared to be ease. They were amazing. I would recommend this company to anyone any day.

The owner came over and gave me a quick estimate, which included cutting down five large trees and trimming two others. The price estimate was so good, I couldn't pass it up! The next day, three workers came to the house (30 min early), and starting cutting right away. They cut all the trees, cleaned up limbs as leaves as they went, and stacked all the firewood that I requested. They were completely done in about six hours and only took about three short breaks during that time. This was a LOT of work and I couldn't believe how quickly (and SAFELY) they got it done! I would highly recommend these folks for any tree services!! A special thanks to Beto, the awesome climber, rigger, and limb/tree felling guy!! He was quite unbelievable to watch him perform this complex job with the seemingly greatest of ease.

Update to my review: (new service performed on 5/7/25)
I had the owner come out to my house again to give me an additional estimate for removal of 3 very large Hackberry trees. Again, I couldn't pass up the price and again, the crew did an outstanding job with the removal. These guys work so hard and ensure everything goes as expected. I had absolutely no issues whatsoever with their services. Believe me, David, Beto, and the crew are just plain awesome! Give them a call - they won't disappoint!!

I had 4 large trees in my yard that needed to be removed. The guys came out, cut them down & even stacked the excess wood that I requested to keep. They were courteous and cleaned up the mess. Thank you for doing a fantastic job at a reasonable price.

Very professional team . The workers arrived on time, worked diligently and with clear expertise cut my tree down . Afterwards they cleaned the area well before leaving. The next day the removed the tree stump. Jacob’s Tree Service did an excellent job.

Jacobs tree experts came on time to my home 🏡 to top out a tree that was getting to tall in my backyard, I first got an estimate from David and we negotiated a good price fair and reasonable that I could pay. They did an excellent job on topping out this oak tree and shredded all the limbs, and then cleaned up the backyard of all the debris that was left after cutting the tree. I highly recommend using David’s company for your next tree or trees you need cutting. They Are also very knowledgeable about how to do the job , thanks for a job well done 👍🏾.

The owner David and his incredible crew did a fantastic job cutting down and removing the stump from our 50 foot maple tree in our backyard!!! They were professional from start to finish. From the estimate to tree removal and cleanup was done within one week. The crew is a well oiled machine and we were literally amazed watching them work so well together. We haven’t seen that kind of efficiency in a long time! We did get other estimates but chose them and we are super happy that we did! We highly recommend their services.

I reached out to Jacob’s tree service on a Thursday and had a consultation the next day. Eddie was so nice and explained everything. The AMAZING CREW were here the next week. There are not enough positive words to express how happy we are with the service we received. They cut down 5 trees and trimmed one. They stacked some wood for our fireplace. They raked the yard and cleaned everything! So efficient! Total professionals! The price was extremely affordable! We will recommend Jacob’s tree service to everyone! Thank you again!!! We are extremely happy!!

David and his team arrived exactly on schedule and performed trimming on a large maple that was very close to power lines and did so with quickness and safety. They were very affordable and offered quick response and were able to get my issue handled just a couple days after first contacting them. Would highly recommend!

These guys were awesome. They were out day after we signed the estimate. We had a huge beautiful maple that really needed trimming. Did the whole thing in 3.5 hours. Their clean up was so thorough - yard looks better than it did before they came. They even chipped the large limb we had fall in the yard before they came out. 10/10, would recommend again.

I used Jacob's Tree Service and I am so glad I picked them. They took down 3 very large trees and trimmed back another 3 trees. All 4 men were safety minded and very professional. I have 20 remaining trees. I know I will call them again.

Jacob’s Tree Experts, LLC came out and gave me an estimate for cutting down 4 trees, trimming branches off of 2 trees and cutting the bushes along my deck. They also completed other things that was needed. I am one satisfied customer. They were very professional. They cleaned up all the debris. I can’t say enough about this company. If you are looking for a tree service I highly recommend them.

They were really awesome. Great estimate. came in a timely manner, very polite, was tentative of my plants and move objects out the way not to damage anything. licensed. efficient and checked in to make sure that they were doing what I needed them to do. Definitely will recommend them for future jobs and will have them back. Thank you so much. I am very happy.

David and his crew did an excellent job at cutting down two pine trees. Pictured is the HUGE one, the other was much smaller. They were all very hard workers and knew exactly what they were to be doing while the tree was taken down. The tree was very close to my house and none of the branches even came close to hitting it. Very efficient and did not take as long as I expected. The clean up was the best I've ever seen. Thank you!

Thank you David and crew! Great job by all!! Trees SUPER close to the house and some lines and you maneuvered around everything with precision and teamwork. You took down 200 year old trees like they were toothpicks! Great work for a great price. Would recommend them to anyone!! Thanks again!

I was really impressed on how well Jacobs Tree service responded to our request for some tree branch removal on our large Silver Maple. From start to finish they were very professional. My yard was cleaned up after they finished and I could hardly tell that they were there. Awesome service. Thanks David!! Will definitely use Jacobs again for any tree services needed.
