Reviews of local pros in Cincinnati, Ohio

****I would like to thank Gregory Forrest Lester team for their help and especially Oliver for his expertise in trees.****
I was recently having trouble identifying which trees I had that I wanted for firewood and which tree I had that would be good for smoking meat. I made several phones to several places. But by far, the team here was the most prompt at answering the phone, trying to help me, etc. I was told that Oliver would be the guy who could answer all my questions... I left a vm, and it wasn't long before he called me back willing to help me. He identified all the trees and gave me great insight into the nature of each tree. Great personality, great service... I'm leaving this rating so others will know in case they are searching for knowledgeable arborist to do work on your property and you want a company that knows more than just hacking down trees with a saw. They know their stuff!!!! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Brad, Nate, and Zach D were extremely professional and open to our suggestions. Cleaned up completely and didn’t leave any trash. Very happy with the results.

The whole crew was very conscientious in performing their work. Tyler looked carefully at the tree did a nice job trimming. They left the area clean.

Had a crew (Hunter, Tyler, Jake, Joe, & James) out today to cut down a large Black Walnut and trim other trees. Not only were they professional, and hospitable as well. I will use Gregory Forrest Lester again, and recommend them to neighbors. A company's reputation is based on its employees interaction with customers. This crew really makes Gregory Forrest Lester shine.

Gregory Forrest Lester Inc did a great job planting this Autumn Blaze Maple in our front yard. John Profit and Matt Day did the work quickly and cleanly and the end result looks great. Will be using GFL Inc in the future.

That was one of the most professional operations I’ve ever seen in my life. It was a very complicated job, massive tree(36inch) smashing the garage and completely covering the neighbor’s yard. They managed to cut and pluck those massive pieces one by one. Unbelievably professional. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Really great to work with. Brad W. and his crew, Tyler, Jack, Dustin, Zach, and Amari, did a wonderful job with the tree and getting to it with what access they had. They were very nice, very cool, and very knowledgeable.

My tree and I are very thankful. Thanks!

The team did a good job taking down and eliminating three trees on my property. They respected my lawn and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Jared and Brad were both very informative, answered all my questions and resolved my concerns. Nate, Tyler, Dustin, and Mike hauled away all debris and cleaned up the surrounding area. Overall, I was pleased with the outcome of what was otherwise a very stressful project.

The team from Gregory Forrest Lester did an amazing job on our trees. Starting with Oliver Lester who came out for an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and informative about our trees and what needed to be done to ensure tree health. The crew team of Tyler, Dustin, and Amari were professional and took great care of our trees and surrounding landscape. Oliver took special care pruning an ornamental dogwood. They cleaned everything up promptly and were overall professional and courteous. I would describe the process as seamless. Do not hesitate to call the professionals from Gregory Forrest Lester Inc. for your tree work!

Lester Landscaping did a tremendous job clearing the tremendous damage we suffered from the April 8th tornado! We lost 22 major trees on the property and they everything cleaned up within a week. The crews were incredibly friendly and good at communicating what was next on the agenda to deliver this huge project. Thanks so much!

I highly recommend Gregory Forrest Lester Tree Service. They are very professional, timely and communicate effectively. Waiting to see if they save the tree, will post again if they do! :) The foreman, Jared kept me very informed along with Josh. Great team!

Amazing job and easy to work with. Our yard needed help. The back corner always flooded from neighborhood swimming pools. And the side yard was overrun with honeysuckle. The third picture is the “before”. And the second pic is the WIP. First pic is final product. The last pic is our side yard. Brian had some great suggestions and we let him run with it. Appreciate our back and side yard so much now!

Very professional and knowledgeable. They walked us through the whole process and our options. We had two big trees to take out and knew we wanted someone who knew what they were doing. They even came back to make sure the stumps and depressions were taken care of!

I can't speak highly enough about this company. They did an amazing job removing an extremely large tree that fell in my back yard.

In particular, I would like to thank Oliver Lester. He was tremendously helpful as I navigated this entire process. He is truly an expert in tree health and helped me understand the insurance implications of the fallen tree and the damage it did to my property.

Additionally, I want to thank the tree removal specialists Jared and Josh. These guys removed an absolutely massive tree safely and effectively while also providing spectacular customer service. The tree required specialized equipment given the precarious place it fell in my backyard (on a steep cliff, next to high voltage lines). They handled it very well and were honest communicators every step of the way.

I will only ever use or recommend this company with any tree related issues. Amazing.

After high winds left half of a large tree on our house, a neighbor recommended Gregory Forrest Lester. I'm so grateful! Oliver Lester arrived quickly to assess the situation and was able to get some branches off my internet line.
The crew showed up the next day and worked like a well-oiled machine. Jared, the foreman, was professional and friendly, as were the rest of the guys. You could tell that safety was a priority for the company, and the clean up was very thorough.
One thing to note is that the company is a full-service arborist, so they can consult on tree replacement and tree health as well. HIGHLY recommend!

Hunter, Tyler, Jake, Joe & Zach did an amazing job! They were able to prune and provide clearance from our house while maintaining the health of our maple tree. In all the job was completed in an efficient & timely manner. Hiring a company that knows trees is well worth the expense.

Our huge, beautiful magnolia tree was sick. Leaves were thinning and browning. Lester's services saved my tree and the results were noticeable within a few weeks, if not days. Now my tree is making a full recovery as it seems, with bright, robust green leaves and gorgeous blooms. I am so thankful!

Brad and his crew (Jack, Nate, Dustin and Zach D) did great work on a LOT of our trees and cleared out lots of brush efficiently and with great attitudes!

Did an amazing job cleaning up. Very meticulous on cleanup. Picking up little twigs even after they are done cleaning up making sure it looks better than when they got here. Thank you so much for your hard work. Would hire again for sure.

This crew of professionals was rapid to respond, left our home better than they found it, worked very well together, placed what we wanted to keep exactly where we asked. They were able to do the job when other companies declined. Highly recommend.

John and his crew (Andy and James) did a great job for me today. They were on time, polite, and informative. However improvement is needed with regard to staying out of neighbors yards and cleanup. I had to do more cleanup in neighbors yards and in the street after the trucks left. Dirt, branches, debris and mulch we left in the street. Also very stingy with the grass seed that was put down for patching. Additionally Lynn is very known and did an outstanding job treating my Princeton Elm tree for Dutch elm disease.
