Constraction reviews in Cleveland, Ohio

In a nutshell, our kitchen project consisted of removing old flooring, leveling the concrete floor and replace with luxury vinyl, remove our 20 year old Corian countertops and replace with the latest Quartz, add new style backsplash tile and finally replace faucet, disposal and sink with the new and latest products. For starters, SemBro has a huge warehouse you can visit to see various layouts and products. Importantly, SemBros crews are not subcontractors but work for SemBro. Each task had a different crew of 2 workers minimum who specialized in the work required assuring quality work. Each crew took no breaks (besides quick lunch) and worked diligently to complete each phase of the job. Another plus is that SemBro cuts/forms the countertops "in house" with their own equipment which is a huge plus! We highly recommend SemBro Design who not only did a fantastic job with our kitchen but proved to be cost effective as well. Give owner Yuriy a call...you won't. be disappointed!

This a a NEW review for PROJECT #2 with SemBro:

We just completed our second project with SemBro which was a full-home remodel, following last year’s gorgeous kitchen/family room remodel. SemBro did a fabulous job which was again directed by Yuriy. Our project included two bathroom remodels, wallpaper removal, wall skimming, removal of ceiling texture, new flooring installation throughout the house and more.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, I was in need of a dedicated office space to accommodate my move to a fully-remote workplace. SemBro transformed our old dining room to a well-lit functional home office space. Recessed lighting and new light fixtures were installed. For privacy, SemBro constructed two walls and installed beautiful French pocket-doors to close off the new office from the living room and installed a modern, new door to the kitchen.

Numerous outdated doors were replaced with Shaker-style double doors, single doors, plus a new sliding glass door. The icing on the cake was the replacement and perfect installation of a new front door and sidelight. Yuriy did his due diligence to ensure that every single door that was installed was of the best quality. SemBro’s quality cabinets and materials were also used in both bathroom renovations which came out beautifully.

Throughout the entire project, Yuriy, was in constant contact. He’s great – knowledgeable, dependable, very polite and very easy to work with. The Sembro workforce was very skilled, hard-working, detail-oriented and trustworthy — sometimes working from morning until night.

We absolutely love our new and improved home and are grateful for everyone at SemBro. You are a talented and amazing team. We can’t thank you enough!

Review of PROJECT #1 with SemBro:

We hired SemBro to remodel the kitchen, family room, powder room, hallway and bedroom of our 50+ year-old family home. We couldn’t be happier with our decision. The large project required the replacement of multiple electrical panels, wall removal, plumbing updates, and more. Within a few days of our initial consultation with Yuriy, our Project Manager, we were provided with a beautiful 3D design of our kitchen/family room and a detailed estimate. Mariya skillfully and patiently helped us to select the perfect fixtures, tile, and flooring for our space. The transformation was amazing!! Yuriy and Mariya were a pleasure to work with. They took care of everything. The project appeared to be well-orchestrated and was painless for us for which we are grateful. Yuriy was very responsive throughout the entire project and was always accessible to answer any questions. If any additional work was required, he was always quick to alert us of what was needed and the associated costs involved so that there were no surprises. The SemBro workers were professional and their work areas were always neat and tidy at the end of each workday.

SemBro brought our kitchen remodeling dream to fruition! We would highly recommend them. We LOVE our new kitchen and are so pleased with the outcome that we’ve rehired SemBro to remodel the rest of the house which will include two bathrooms, living room, entryway, hallway, 3 bedrooms and dining room-to-office conversion. We are looking forward to working with the SemBro team again on this next project!

We have been impressed with Sembro from the first call we made to inquire about our kitchen project. Yuriy oversaw our project in a timely and professional way. We met with Mariya to see the 3D design and select the materials in their beautiful showroom. Communication was excellent, the work crew was outstanding, and they finished on time. Sembro is a really exceptional company - highly recommended to all of our friends & family! We love our new kitchen! Thank you Sembro!

We are very pleased with how our project came out. This was our first major renovation and Sembro’s guidance made it very easy. Start and finish date right on schedule. Crew was very friendly and paid attention to details.

We worked with SemBro to do a complete remodel of our bathroom and we’d recommend the team to friends and family.

Yaroslav, the project manager, kept the project rolling and had great attention to detail. In times where there were setbacks, he made us feel confident and helped us get the bathroom done in a timely manner. 5 ⭐️

Everyone who we met from the front desk to the workers, were all very professional and invested in the project.

I hired SemBro Design and Supply to remodel an old galley kitchen in a condo. The demo was a huge job, not drywall, but old cementboard. Paul and his crew did a spectacular job, from the design all the way to the final details of touch up paint and cleanup. The workmanship is fantastic. I have never seen such a perfect tile job. Both floor and backsplash. The quality of materials and work is exceptional. All of their tradesmen did excellent work. They gave me a timeline, kept to the schedule, showed up when they said they would and finished the job within a few days of expected completion date. I will definitely use SemBro again.

My husband and I knew our kitchen needed a makeover we just needed help deciding the details. During our exploratory meeting, Yuriy helped us refine our vision by showing images from other projects they had completed and offering valuable insights. He provided multiple renderings throughout the process, making our dream kitchen come to life on paper.
The showroom experience was excellent, allowing us to see and touch the products we were choosing, which made a big difference in our decision-making. The team at Sembro Design & Supply met deadlines, cleaned up the area at the end of each day, and truly worked hard to ensure everything was done to the best of their ability.
They kept us in the loop, asked for our feedback when issues came up, and made sure we felt involved in every step of the project. We are beyond happy with our new kitchen and highly recommend SemBro for their professionalism, craftsmanship, and dedication to making our vision a reality!

Absolutely loved Sembro! From beginning to end. This company is very professional and all the people involved are awesome! Yaroslav, our project manager, was great at communicating which is the the most imporant thing and workers always working long hours to get the job done. Would definitely hire them again. Thank you everyone involved for a fabulous bathroom.

We had a wonderful experience with Paul and his team; from start to finish. The process was smooth and the demolish/install was quick.

For our project we just had the counters and cabinets replaced. We were impressed with how well the team navigated our cabinets and custom bread nook, taking extra care to avoid damaging. The team made sure we were involved in the decision making and kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. We are very pleased with the result and would recommend Sembro to anyone looking to remodel!

Complete bathroom remodel, great job and very pleased. Daniel, project manager kept us informed all aspects of remodel. Great workers. Very impressed with Ivan, hard worker and completed entire bathroom.

SemBro Design did an AMAZING job remodeling our basement. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and professional. No hesitation with answering questions and making suggestions. Expectations were set, all deadlines were met! No surprise billing, the team is honest and fair. Their craftsmanship is unmatched! SemBro Design has experts on staff that pay attention to detail, consistently made an effort to protect my property from dust and damage; cleaned their work area daily prior to leaving for the day. Thank you SemBro for bringing our ideas for our basement to fruition! The finished project surpassed our expectations; we love it!
Sincerely,
Very Happy Customers

We interviewed several companies for our full kitchen remodel. We hired SemBro Design and Supply because they matched the design, cost, timeframe and professionalism we were looking for. David, the designer, was our initial contact with SemBro and he could not have been more professional. He provided design options and helped us navigate the entire process. Pasha, the project manager, was equally professional. He kept in close contact with us and was quick to address any concerns we may have had. The workers were talented, worked quickly, and demonstrated a strong work ethic. We would definitely hire SemBro for any future projects and we highly recommend them to family and friends who compliment our beautiful kitchen.

We had SemBro renovate our kitchen and first floor. We were initially impressed by the responsiveness and helpfulness of our design engineer David who patiently walked us through the process. Equally we were impressed with our contractor Pasha and his team. The project was completed on time and within budget. Good craftsmanship and they cleaned up when the work was done. Overall a very positive experience.

We had SemBro Design & Supply renovate, our kitchen and two bathrooms. They did an amazing job! Our project manager, Pasha, was very professional and easy to work with during the renovation. The project was completed earlier than expected. Pasha’s construction crew was just as professional! We would highly recommend this company for any renovation project! Thank you, SemBro! We love our home!

I cannot speak highly enough about Sembro! Their work quality was exceptional, they were very responsive to inquiries and change requests and they finished a very large project a month early. Their costs also were reasonable. The project went very smoothly and we appreciated that Sembro provided end-to-end service from design, sourcing of all material and of course, the renovation work. The scope of our project included: removing dining wall to create a large kitchen with two eating areas, two fridges, custom corner pantry and loads of cabinets. Several items were custom built (island, attached 60x100 table, vent cover, etc.) and they worked amish carpenters to have these built. We also converted a half bath to a full bath, located on a slab so there was a lot of digging needed. Finally, we had our hardwood floors refinished throughout with new steps added. All this was completed in about 2 months. We are so happy with the outcome that we are now scoping out a project with them for our master bathroom reno.

We are thrilled with the work that the Sembro folks did and would recommend them to anyone. In fact, we will use them again. Our project consisted of a kitchen and powder room remodel as well as replacing most of the windows on our first floor and all of the flooring on the first floor.

We heard about SemBro from a friend who had recently hired them for a similar project. From the time we first stepped into their beautiful showroom and right through the completion of the project in December 2022 we have had a great experience with these professional and talented people.

Our home was built in 1940 and as such, as the guys began tearing out the old, a couple surprises came up (not many) and we had to deviate a little from the original plan. The designer and project manager stayed in constant contact with us and offered great solutions for us along the way, treating our house as if it were their own.

The workers were skilled and treated us and our home with the utmost respect. The project was completed on budget and within the time frame originally planned. What more could we have hoped for? SemBro is excellent!

My husband and I moved into our home about 18 months ago and the kitchen was our biggest pain point. The walkways were too narrow the cabinets were dated and the overall appearance was not our style. We had a really good idea as to what we were looking for and after months of comparing prices and reading reviews we found SemBros to be our perfect fit.

Our designer David was knowledgeable and friendly and able to provide insight and ideas into what works well and what we may want to stray away from. He provided design guidance as well to ensure our final kitchen was cohesive and timeless.

The crew was punctual, kind, and most importantly tidy! We have 2 year old twins in the house and cleanliness was very important while we lived through construction. I was also incredibly impressed with the craftsmanship of the team. We moved electrical, plumbing, gas and windows/doors in this remodel and the crew was able to handle it all seamlessly! The team estimated the project would take 6-8 weeks and they were spot on with their delivery time which is so rare to find in this field.

The end result speaks for itself and the kitchen is now our favorite room in the house! We would use SemBros again for future remodels in our home.

We contacted SemBro, at a referral from a friend, for a kitchen remodel—that ended up being a complete transformation. We had a good idea of our design, shared it with our Project Manager, Yuriy, and he came back with a rendering that helped us really visualize the project. It was a down-to-the-studs 3-month project, so we got to really know most of the crew. Very kind and professional throughout the project and if we had any concerns along the way, we were able to bring them up and have them addressed. We’ve ended up with a beautiful and functional space.

The team at Sembro did a great job from beginning to end of a complicated first floor kitchen and half bath remodel in my older home. Even after some unexpected complications after demolition, they addressed all needs, were responsive, and I am very happy with the completed result and the work they did. The project included removing a wall and rerouting some dated elements to accommodate that.

The ability to get help with all the choices needed to design and put together a new kitchen from scratch was key for me, and I was able to get it all done in a few trips to their design shop. Highly recommend.

Our project consisted of a complete tear down and renovation of our kitchen, dining room, office and half bath. Completion of the project by the SemBro team exceeded our expectations in every way and we couldn't be happier with the results. The quality of the cabinets and other supplies used was excellent and the craftsmanship of the work performed was exceptional. It was a pleasure to work with the entire team. Paul and Mariya did an excellent job on the layout and design and Dan, our Project Manager, was helpful in every step of the process and handled any issues that arose promptly and efficiently. Everyone was fully responsive to all of our questions and concerns throughout the entire process. The project was completed much sooner than the initial estimate and all inspections were passed without issues. They even handled an unrelated electrical issue that occurred after the project was finished, which was much appreciated. We wholeheartedly recommend SemBro and will use them again for any future projects that come up.

From start to finish Sembro went above and beyond. From the design meetings to picking out the finishes, to the work being done everyone involved in the project was very professional. The hardest workers I have ever seen. I would absolutely recommend this company for any project. Sembro transformed my 1950s ranch into a modern beauty. They gutted the kitchen and bathroom, removed a wall so the kitchen flows into the dining room, renovated a half bath, refinished the hardwood floors and painted the interior all within the timeframe and budget established. Yuri, Pasha and the rest of the guys are the best. You will not be disappointed!
