Very professional very clean very reasonable great personality an awesome work

This is a great group of guys that really know their stuff! They were contacted to do a variety repairs on a recently purchased rental property and these guys did a fantastic job at a great price!

Last summer we hired Midtown Handyman & Remodeling to remodel our small bathroom. I'm not sure why our experience was so different than the few posted here, but we would never recommend them to anyone! What was supposed to be a 2-1/2 week job went into 4 weeks, and because of a time crunch for them to finish, Mike promised us that he would return to fix the many issues (numerous uneven tiles/walls, broken tile, un-grouted & un-caulked areas). We spent extra on marble tile to frame a window which they put on top of other tile, needless to say sagged and is very uneven (which he saw before leaving the job). We have tried contacting Mike since February (email, phone calls, texts) with no response from him at all. We trusted Mike to his word and now are very disappointed not only of the finished job, but in him as well. Instead of being able to enjoy our new bathroom, we now have to hire a professional contractor to fix the many issues at additional cost to us.

I hired Midtown handyman/ Discount home repair because I had some violation work on a rental property which they took care of quickly and made sure we passed with the city 100%. I was so impressed I had them updating a kitchen for me which they did to my satisfaction the work was done in a timely manner and to my expectation! I would recommend these guys 100%

I cannot say enough about these guys at Midtown Handyman. I was panicked once I received a seven page inspection report from my local building department for repairs than needed to be completed at my home. I contacted several contractors who either never called me back or told me they can only do a portion of the repairs or the jobs were too small. Once I contacted Midtown it they came out within 2 days and they went through the entire list with me and gave me an estimate for all the repairs. Not only did they do the work, they met up with the inspector on my be half to make sure that we passed all violations! These guys went up and beyond my expectations and I am very grateful for all their help I certainly would recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable contractor!

I hired Midtown Handyman Services LLC, led by Mike, for a renovation project and initially had a positive experience. I provided a 50% deposit upfront to cover materials and begin work, with the remaining balance to be paid in stages as tasks were completed. The project was originally scheduled for completion within 30 days.

At first, communication was consistent, with weekly updates and progress photos. However, after day 45, updates became infrequent, and I had to repeatedly reach out for information—often with no response. After several weeks of silence, Mike finally replied, requesting additional funds for materials to complete the project. Wanting to avoid further delays, I agreed to provide 20% of the final payment draw. Unfortunately, once the payment was made, Mike disappeared.

What was supposed to be a 30-day project stretched beyond 90 days with no completion. Ultimately, I had to hire another company, which completed the work in just 48 hours under the same conditions. Despite multiple requests for reimbursement for materials that were never used or work that was never completed, Midtown Handyman Services LLC has remained unresponsive.

I would strongly caution anyone considering this company for their project. My experience has been one of delays, poor communication, and financial loss. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.

This company fixed our hot water tank and I was so pleased that I had them come back later to fix my sink. I will have them come back for my next repair project.

Do not deal with this contractor. Does not pay his subs. We performed a service and he was paid in full. Did not pay us after repeated promises to send a check. Scumbag contractor. Going to small claims court now.

Whoever the receptionist is oh my! Check her or get a new one or she'll drive away potential business, her attitude and unwillingness to answer questions is awful 😖 I had to hang up on her. I wasn't about to let her nastiness ruin my mood.

Master Handyman does excellent work. Communication is good; estimates are timely and work professionally completed. This is the fourth time I have used their services.

Great work ethic and responds in a timely manner

I absolutely loved working with them! They were professional and did excellent work on replacing my entire 3rd floor balcony. I will definitely use them again for other repairs around my condo.

What a wonderful family ran business. They were so extremely helpful when we needed our plumbing fixed last year. I plan to call them again for some other repairs my home needs. What I loved about them most was that they were very good at communicating and explaining things to me.

My family has a duplex and we had multiple issues with needing plumbing replaced after water pipes burst. As a result, we needed flooring refinished, drywall, and 2 bathrooms and kitchens made ready for rental. Dan and Cheryl are very knowledgeable, professional, timely, and organized. We have worked with them twice now and have had no problems. They have a great work ethic and communication is very clear and honest. We would absolutely use them again in the future

The woman in the office was very kind, and I really appreciated how quickly they were able to get me scheduled. The work was excellent, and the handyman was friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them, it honestly felt more like friends helping me out than strangers.
