This is the first review I have ever written but feel compelled to do so. I had Alex and his crew ( including his three sons) at my house today to remove 5 trees and trim 3 others. The crew of 8 were professional, courteous, prompt, cleaned up every work site including the street and you cannot tell they were even here. I was always reluctant to hire a tree service since I dont know the industry regarding competitive pricing, potential damage, etc. but I will not hesitate to hire A&S Tree Service in the future and will recommend them all day.
Side Note: you should have seen the compassion his two sons extended to three 2 week old squirrels that lost their nest. I have never seen anything like it before. Be proud Alex. Great job!!

if your on a fence trying to decide on a good tree removale service look no further. I can't recomment these people high enough. they bring in their team and get the job done fast and cleanup was excellant as well. Very resonable price that were is align with others i was quoted.

Once again A&S to the rescue! With all of the storms yesterday 08/06/24 we had a couple of limbs down. Although many have it worse than us A&S came to see the damage and are getting it taken care of. We began using A&S 4 years ago when our neighbor"s very large tree fell on our home. Many tree companies walked away because they could not use equipment. A&S stepped up with their crew and hand cut and carried the tree away. A full days job. A&S has performed several other jobs for us as well over recent years. Always professional and stands by their word. I admire their professionalism regarding our neighbor who comes out to harass and instruct A&S every time they work for us. Our neighbor does not manage his trees and has now been cited by the city. He leaves negative reviews and has cost us thousands of dollars.

I received a quote on Thursday and they came out on Friday, the next day.
They removed a large dead tree in my front yard. Limbs were in electrical lines. Other companies did not want the job or quoted me much more.
The arrived early and took them about an hour to complete the job.
They cleaned up and removed all wood and debris from my front yard.
Absolutely perfect! Highly recommend them!! You won't be disappointed!

A&S Trees did an amazing job pruning our two black walnut trees. Alex was very professional and kept us up to date through the whole process. They came on time and were able to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Also, all the debris was picked up and cleared. We definitely would use their service again in the future. I never write reviews (48 year old guy here), but wanted to take the time and write one for these guys. From start to finish extremely professional, on time, price was competitive, communication was great, work was awesome, and had all the equipment you need. Very very clean. I've hired 100's of contractors over the years (plus I am a contractor myself) and these guys are top of list. Thank you!

Made a difficult job look easy. Removed two large trees from our small backyard with many constraints including power/communication lines, fences, and garages. Great communication throughout and fairly priced. Highly recommend.

Alex and his team are awesome! When I called, he actually answered!… Not sent to voicemail like the other tree services I tried. We set up a time to meet that day, and they came the very next morning to do the job! Very efficient, all were very professional, and did the job at a super reasonable price. They did a great job cutting and clearing out overgrown trees in my yard. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you A&S!!

These guys were great! Answered my call when several other companies didn't - and provided a fast and fair estimate when promised. They actually scheduled my job sooner than expected, arrived on time, were very professional and courteous, trimmed my tree exactly as requested, and cleaned up! They even had me take a look half way through the trim to check their work to make sure it was as I requested. My tree looks amazing! Would definitely recommend!

A&S Tree Service removed a large tree from my back yard and ground the stump and expansive roots. They did a great job in a very tight space at a reasonable price. The company was extremely responsive throughout the entire process and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for tree removal services.

These guys were amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone to use their services for all of your tree removal/stump/etc needs. Got a quote to remove one tree from my backyard from Davey tree that ended up being 40% more than the price I got from these guys. Davey said they would need special equipment to remove this tree.. not these guys. Showed up with a box truck and were out of here in less than an hour. Oh, not to mention i that I waited less than a week for them to come out to do the job after the quote. Amazing! Call them, you won’t regret it.

I've used A&S several times over the last 3-4 years to take down dead trees, clean up overgrown limbs and branches, etc. Last week they worked to clean up a large honey locust in our front yard, removing some large dead branches, limb overhang, and general clean up of suckers and lower branches. They removed 2 dead smaller trees from our backyard too. While working, my neighbor stopped by to ask if they were willing to remove a small tree and clean up some canopy overhanging their roof (both coming from my yard) and Alex worked out a deal to get it done while they were there. Alex is always fast to respond for estimates and questions - he and his crew are efficient and reliable, will work with you on price and scope, and clean up the job site when done. They will continue to be my first call with any tree service needs!

I’ve used A&S Tree Service multiple times, and each experience has been outstanding. The first time, I chose them after getting several quotes because their price, timeframe, and customer service were unbeatable. The second time, I didn’t even bother getting other quotes—I went straight to A&S because of how efficient and effective their crew is. They even managed to come out the same day I called!

Recently, after a month of waiting to spread the mulch from a tree grinding, I noticed that the job wasn’t fully completed due to the challenging location (a large, mature tree in a tight two-foot area surrounded by a driveway and sidewalk). It was impossible for them to see all the remaining roots. When I reached out, they immediately recognized the oversight and had it resolved within 24 hours.

I’m convinced A&S Tree Service has one of the most ethical business owners in Cleveland. I’ve had at least four trees removed by them, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of tree services.

I was amazed at how fast and relatively cheap A&S was to work with. They were out within a few hours of my call for a quote, and their quoted options were better than several other companies. Service for 4 tree removed was done in about half a day. Wow! Should we need tree services in the future, no more shopping around; will be going with A&S.

They are very reasonable.very prompt . They removed a big branch and a couple dead trees with no worries! Excellent 👍👍 I would absolutely recommend them!!!

I feel Alex and A&S Tree Service deserve at least 6.
He was not only very helpful in walking myself and my wife through what his team would do but quoted a very reasonable price. In addition, he took into account the fact the fact that I am wheelchair bound and provided me with pictures highlighting the work to be done.
And then, as planned, they showed up a did a great job removing 3 trees, stump grinding 2 of the 3 and trimming 4 other trees.
Have recommended them to family members and friends already.

I am happy with my tree removal! The tree was a beautiful pear tree but unfortunately during every summer hundreds of pears will splat to the ground and my yard was always invaded by flies even after raking and harvesting pears each day. A&S tree service was not the first company I called but they were the most responsive. Some tree company's left me completely hanging. Frustrated and desperately wanting to get my tree cut, I seen A&S had google chat (very convenient) and I sent them a message on a sunday afternoon. Same day they responded to check out my tree on Monday. They quoted me on Tuesday. It was a little above my ideal budget (though still affordable) but they were so responsive, I accepted Wednesday and they cut my tree the next day! They cleaned the area and left about a 1 in stump, which I didn't want grinded because im sentimental and want to remember the tree. Thank you so much.

A&S removed two enormous maple trees from our yard. One tree was leaning precariously over our garage. Another tree was next to a neighbors fence.These guys were awesome. The whole crew was very friendly and efficient. The tree climber Larry was amazing. Because of where the trees were located he had to cut and lower everything by hand. Clean up was excellent. Communication was excellent. All completed in a few hours for a very fair price. Thank you A&S Tree Service!
