Constraction reviews in Columbus, Ohio

Dave Fox is an absolute gem in this industry. They are consistently professional, quality-focused, and great builders. We had a very extensive project, and they have been wonderful at all phases - from the initial iterations of design, all the way through construction, every person involved has been exceptional. Will work with them again, and recommend them to all who enjoy exceptional professionalism and craftsmanship.

Dave Fox was engaged to build out our garage condo. The project included construction of a mezzanine and bathroom. As usual, the team was creative, responsive, and first class. The end product was high quality, eye-catching, and extremely functional. We will definitely use Dave Fox on any future projects.

Dave fox put together a wonderful design team for us! They completely transformed our kitchen and were able to include everything that we wanted including a new entry door. The construction team was very skilled. The demolition was efficient and timely. The craftmanship was excellent and we love the final product. There were only a few minor delays. Our biggest hurdles were with the appliances. Faith, the interior decorator was amazing to worth with! She put together beautiful design ideas while letting us put together a timeless kitchen with our own style. This was important to us as we had limited time to research different materials, but we also wanted something beautiful and unique. She also helped us get a floor model refrigerator from a local appliance company almost immediately after being told we would wait several more months for what we ordered. We would definitely use Dave Fox again! Highly recommend!

Dave Fox is a full turn-key service, they handle everything from start to finish. Their team is excellent to work with and communicate well with the client. Couldn't be happier.

We had an excellent experience with Dave Fox. It all began when our toilet leaked resulting in a mold issue. Our Design Consultant, Courtney, began our trust with Dave Fox. She helped us remediate the mold way before our job was slotted to begin. She was with us through the whole process setting expectations and going above and beyond what we expected.

Our Interior Designer, Joann, is very talented and we are thankful for her ideas and dedication. She helped us turn an unfortunate scenario into a beautiful new bathroom on the first floor as well as gym and wine and bourbon room in the basement. She has a a great eye and we LOVE how the space turned out.

I was nervous for construction to begin as we have three little kids and a dog heading into the summer with no school. Our Project Manager, Andy, and his team went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable amidst the construction. I couldn't believe the hard work and craftsmanship Devon and Jack did! The woodwork in our gym is beautiful! A+ to them, we're overly impressed. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Dave Fox.

We worked with Dave Fox to renovate several areas of our home at once. It was certainly an expensive undertaking but the team worked with us closely to rethink some weird layout issues, had great fitting and finish suggestions, and displayed great flexibility in helping us to overcome some minor speed bumps and even helped us get a feel for potential costs (with understanding that these were very preliminary estimates) up front. The work looks beautiful and the team did great at communicating frequently to make sure our expectations were met. You pay extra at a firm like this but what you get in return is quality of work and peace of mind. Several of our neighbors went with new companies to save money, which sounds appealing but they all ended with horror stories about never ending completion dates, cut corners on construction, missing contractors when they were supposed to be there, or threats of lawsuits. We didn’t experience any of that with Dave Fox.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Dave Fox Design-Build Remodelers on our basement finishing project, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From the initial consultation with Courtney and Shannon, to the design work with Joann and the build with Joe, Ann and Bryant, the entire team demonstrated incredible professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail.

The design team, led by Courtney and Joe, worked closely with us to understand our vision and needs, blending style with functionality perfectly. They transformed our unfinished basement into a beautiful, multi-purpose space that includes a family lounge, bar area, gym, and special Wine and Whiskey area. Courtney, Joe and Joann were able to redesign the original bathroom to include a infrared sauna, which initially, was not possible. And a special thank you to Daniel who installed all the tile. Daniel was able to ensure symmetry throughout the different spaces. Each area flows seamlessly, and the materials they selected feel high-quality and durable, while looking fantastic.

The construction process was smooth and well-organized. The team kept us updated at every stage, whether Joe as the Project Manager or the artisans, Ann and Bryant, and managed the timeline impressively, especially given the scope of the work. They addressed any questions we had and made sure the job site was tidy and safe every day, which we greatly appreciated. Joann was happy to spend the time we required to guide us expertly though the selection of the finishing touches which resulted in a finished basement that is truly special.

The finished space has added tremendous value to our home, not just in terms of square footage, but in enhancing our day-to-day enjoyment. We now have an incredible space to entertain, relax, and spend quality family time. We would highly recommend Dave Fox Design-Build Remodelers to anyone looking to upgrade their home with top-notch design and craftsmanship. Thank you, Dave Fox team, for bringing our dream basement to life!

Our team: Courtney, Shannon, Joann, Joe, Ann, Bryant and Daniel. Thanks again!

We are absolutely thrilled with the incredible job Dave Fox Remodeling did with our home! From the initial consultation to the final touches, every step of the process was handled with precision and care. The project team, led by Nick L. (Project Manager)Tom E. (Design Consultant) and Andrea C. (Interior Designer) were PHENOMENAL, ensuring that every detail was attended to and that the timeline was adhered to or managed accordingly. Their attention to detail surpassed my expectations, and the end result is nothing short of stunning. I couldn't be happier with the transformation of my home.
In addition to their impeccable craftsmanship, the team at Dave Fox Remodeling were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were incredibly nice, accommodating, and honest throughout the entire process, making communication easy and stress-free. It's rare to find such a combination of skill and genuine professionalism. Working with them was truly a delightful experience, and I highly recommend Dave Fox Remodeling for anyone looking for top-notch quality and service.

The best in the business. We just completed a 4 month full kitchen, bath, and main level remodel. The whole team was outstanding.

Our kitchen remodel was amazing from start to finish. Every team member was on the same page. Very friendly and professional staff. Their craftsmanship speaks for itself. Very pleased we went with Dave Fox - so much so, we have them doing another project

Dave Fox Remodeling was everything we needed and more. Greg and Michelle listened to us and designed the perfect space to let us grow older, safely in our home. They respected our budget too! Nick was our project manager and made all the details, big and small a reality. His crew was fantastic. Christian, Rob and Jeff worked through freezing temperatures to get the foundation ready. Braydon and Brenden were master craftsmen. Chet, Andrew and Tim worked hard to finish the project. The plumbers Dave, Jared and Nick along with the electricians did a perfect job. We are so happy that we chose DFR for our addition! Thank you Dave Fox!

The Dave Fox team created this new wall in our living room that incorporates beautiful imported tile, recessed TV, an electric fireplace and unique shelves with floating cabinets and drawers. From the outset, the design process was both open and extremely well detailed. Their renderings made the design come to life. Then, as we moved to the construction phase, the crew of experienced craftsmen could not have been more friendly, considerate, neat, and most important, attentive to detail and customer satisfaction. They all take great pride in their product and performance. We have already recommended Dave Fox to several friends and we would not consider any other contractor for any future renovation projects.

We saw high quality Dave Fox remodels at a NARI showcase, so we selected Dave Fox to remodel our kitchen, master and hall baths, fireplace, and laundry room. Professionalism, skills, communications, friendliness of all the staff and subs were unmatched in my experience. I want to commend Chris Harper (design consultant on scope), Andrea Conley (on cohesive, attractive designs), Nick Loschiavo (on managing the entire project, finishing ahead of schedule), Braydon Gomes (project lead, great carpenter), Bob Tobin (exquisite carpentry), Marc Heath (field manager who made sure we were doing OK), Brad and his electricians (Hayden, Jordan, Bill), plumbers Adam and Isaac, tiling at the artistry level by Conway, concrete work by Kevin and Dylan, Daniel and Schluter materials installation, Edwin and Jose' dry walling and ceiling stippling, Jamie and Aaron HVAC work, Jim the painter, and Brady who did demo. Great coordination by Nick on bringing in fireplace techs, countertop and glass techs, stone tech, and appliance package installers. Managed to tent off work areas and clean up every night, which is a big deal.

Our Dave Fox Team completed an amazing renovation of our family room. Tore out built ins. Moved HVAC around, added gorgeous trim to our walls, beams and added 4 windows to brighten our space. It was a big project and our team was incredible. First, Evan and Joanne were incredible taking our vision and helping us see options to make it a reality within the acceptable confines of our budget. Love them!

Nick was our project manager and he was so incredible. We sincerely appreciated how he was on top of everything and such an excellent communicator. Throughout our project we got to know his talented team and we want to thank the Braydons (there were two on our project and I apologize for not knowing the spelling), and Andrew was incredible too. Their attention to detail and perfection was very much appreciated. My husband is a perfectionist by vocation and is truly never happy with work anyone else does, and fortunately he is so pleased with the work our Dave Fox team did for us. Our project was on time too!

We truly couldn't be happier, and I cannot wait to have Nick and his team work on our next project. I cannot see ever using another company. I just wish they could do our pool construction for us.

We used DFR to remodel our kitchen. They did a fabulous job. I still can't get over how much I love my new kitchen. They provide great design ideas and the professionals that do the work are top-notch, friendly and are true craftspeople in their perspective trades. They maintained an open line of communication and they treated our home with respect. Their most endearing quality was their effort to get along with and work around a somewhat large and over rambunctious GSD puppy. I highly recommend DFR and would use them again in a heartbeat.
