Constraction reviews in Columbus, Ohio

We recently had the pleasure of working with SemBro for a kitchen remodel, and we couldn't be happier with the results! Anatoliy, was incredibly attentive to our vision and helped bring our ideas to life. His attention to detail and ability to maximize space was impressive. He made thoughtful suggestions that really enhanced the design, and we felt confident every step of the way.

Alex, the contractor, was equally outstanding. He managed the project with professionalism and precision. The work was completed on time, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. Alex kept the worksite clean and communicated regularly, making sure we were informed throughout the process. He always went above and beyond for us, which led to us seeking added services to remodel vanities in two bathrooms!

Together, Anatoliy and Alex made the whole experience as smooth as possible and our new kitchen is now a true showpiece. We highly recommend this team for anyone looking to transform their space!

The designer Anatoliy was an absolute pleasure to work with! He executed our project with efficiency and attention to detail. Our bathroom looks amazing due to the craftsmanship of our builder Bogdon. He was a hard worker and we could tell that he took pride in his work, going above and beyond to make sure our project turned out exactly as we wanted. We have only praises for Anatoliy, Bogdon, and SemBro Designs!

Very good people to work with. From the initial quote, to the design stage at their shop, to the workers. Everyone was very nice and the workers were very respectful of our property. Their quoted prices were right in the middle of the estimates we gathered and came in where I expected. The communication throughout the process was great. They cleaned up the site every day and hauled all trash out with them daily (no dumpster in the driveway). We did a master bath & kitchen and are very happy with the end results.

SemBro Designs did a fantastic job with my bathroom!!! Anatoliy was a great designer, and their showroom made the design process easy. The cost was very reasonable, and Anatoliy noted all the expected charges with no surprises once the project was complete. Pavlo F did a great job installing the tiles, and his attention to detail was superb. We are very happy with the outcome and will use them again when a new project surfaces.

We had such a great experience from start to finish with SemBro! Our Project Manager, Anatoliy Olesh, was such a great communicator and kept us in the loop about the timeline and expectations of our project. He checked in frequently with both us and his crew and made sure that we were 100% satisfied with each step in the process, and always addressed any questions or concerns immediately and without hesitation. Our cabinet installers, Sasha and Dima, were great, along with the Painter, Ivan and Flooring guy, Sergey. Pavlo did great with demolition and Igor was great with all electrical work. Vitalik installed our backsplash and also was so impressive. We love our entire first floor remodel, and would choose SemBro again for any future remodeling needs. We have received so many compliments from friends and family, and have recommended them to everyone we know who is looking to remodel. Anatoliy and his crew far exceeded our expectations, and made this whole process so seamless!

They did good work, happy with everything. 3d designs pre project were a great help in making a decision to go with them.

We just wrapped up a complete basement remodel with Sembro — we may have been their first ever! It transformed our living spaces in the home and added important specs, including a new half-bath. It was a heck of an undertaking as it was our first major remodel of any kind, so the excitement and stress were high. The quality of work from the crew was exceptional, and their reliability to showing up when promised and working hard never disappointed. Despite all of that goodness, the best part of working with Sembro came in an unexpected form — when an unpredictable, unfortunate, and stressful problem arose *after* the initial completion of the project. It was one of those random things that you can't control for but that can happen and that risks bickering or worse. Rather than arguing or stonewalling or nickle-and-diming, Sembro showed us real empathy and leaned in, worked with us, and resolved the situation. We were so grateful for that care and support. More than any other moment, that proved to us that they're real partners. Special thanks to Alex and Rhett — it was a pleasure working with you both!

SemBro recently gutted and remodeled our master bathroom. The design help I received from Kate and management of the pricing and project by Erik were excellent. Their staff worked very hard and did a great job. The work was completed timely and we are very satisfied.

Our experience with SemBro was amazing! Our designer and project manager, Anatoliy, was very responsive and regularly provided status updates. The whole team was very polite and cleaned up everyday. The cabinet installer, Nick, did a phenomenal job. The project finished on time even after we added several tasks to the scope. The kitchen is absolutely stunning and we've received many compliments already. We will definitely use SemBro for future projects!

SemBro Designs is a group I would recommend to anyone in need of home repair or remodel.

My wife and I wanted significant modifications to a 40 year old house which had been neglected for about 30 years. We'd had a bad experience with one contractor and so we were skittish and slow to trust when we went looking for a second contracting group to do it right.

SemBro was one of three well-reviewed contractors we met with trying to find the right price point. They won out due to their combination of good reviews and price, as well as the charisma of their customer-facing staff (Joe was our primary contact). After a planning period their team got to work.

Joe and Erik (the project manager) really took care of us. Some things were more involved than I expected, some things were easier and more straightforward, but communication was always excellent and SemBro always made sure we were happy we went with them, pairing expert workmanship with expert customer service. We always felt like we were dealing with real people, that there was a human connection beyond the signed contract, that we were seen and not just a business transaction.

We love our house and are extremely glad we went with SemBro. Thanks for everything Erik, thanks for everything Joe, and please pass on our thanks as well to your lead carpenter and dry waller (I am delinquent in leaving this review and I'm embarrassed to have forgotten their names!). Ihor as well! I'm glad every day for the new lights he installed in the dining area.

You guys are fantastic. Keep up the great work!

We had an issue with the grout applied to our tile 2 years after installation. SemBro Design sent out a tech who reapplied the grout, and taught me how to apply it should it ever occur again. This was truly service beyond our expectations. We will consider SemBro designs first for our remodeling needs.

SemBro Designs did an outstanding job with our primary bathroom renovation.

From our initial design consultation to project completion the SemBro Design team was courteous, punctual, and professional at all times.

Anatoliy’s vision for the project exceeded our expectations, and his professionalism and project management expertise kept the project on time and on budget.

Diana’s design assistance and Pavlo’s attention to detail and project execution ensured a successful project outcome that we could not be happier with.

We will definitely use them again for any future projects we have.

Sembro has renovated our main bathroom and mudroom/laundry room. They are detail oriented, timely, organized and deliver a beautiful end product! We will use them again for future remodels!

Me and my wife were looking to buy a kitchen with a budget of $100,000. We decided to give SemBro a try.. a choice that we will never regret. A new kitchen was installed within days and was far better than any kitchen I thought was nice. We were able to stay way under budget which meant we had enough money to get our bathroom completely redone, and now the interior of my house looks better than I ever thought possible!

Our experience with Sembro Designs for our bathroom renovations has been exceptional, and we are thrilled with the results.

We initially planned to renovate two bathrooms, but after seeing the transformation and high-quality results in those spaces, we decided to include a third bathroom in the renovation. Kate and Erik's expertise and dedication were evident from the start, and they guided us through the entire process with ease.

They ensured that each bathroom renovation was not only beautiful, but also functional and tailored to our needs. The entire team at SemBro Designs, led by Kate and Erik, delivered on their promises, completing the project on-time and within our budget.

The transformation of our bathrooms has elevated the look and feel of our home, and we are proud to show off the results. SemBro Designs' professionalism, craftsmanship, and commitment to customer satisfaction are remarkable.

We would highly recommend SemBro Designs to anyone seeking a reliable and talented team for their renovation projects. Kate and Erik's passion and expertise made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free.

We had a great experience working with Sem Bros. Our kitchen remodel was better than we expected. From Alyssa’s design and Rhett’s project management, the whole process was smoothly executed. Ihor, the painter, was a perfectionist. Vadim made sure I was happy with every step as he did installations. I love my lights installed by Kostya. I would definitely use Sem Bros on another project.

Sebro was amazing! Best price and great quality. Started and finished on time! I love dealing with family owed and operated business.

When my wife and i decided to remodel our kitchen we made it a point to call and schedule as many contractors as we could in order to see what set some apart from the others. When calling to set up appointments i found out that some remodel companies do not actually come down to check out your space until to head over to their showroom and some require a small deposit to do a 3D image with that deposit amount coming off your finale total if you decide to pursue with them. I did not consider any of those companies. I felt that the company should be working to get my business not the other way around. once i eliminated those companies i narrowed my selection to 3 contractors all of whom had very high google reviews. i had them all come down and quote me a price. All 3 estimators were very professional and had great ideas and design elements. After getting back the price quotes i eliminated the highest since he was almost 35% higher than the other 2. Having 2 contractors left i wanted to touch base with them and make a small design change and let them know i will have a decision soon. i called the first company and got the secretary and when i explained the reason of my call she said gave me and email address to send over my design change over and someone will get back to me. When i asked for the contact info for the person that came to my house for the estimate she patched me over to his desk line. I got a return call about 1 week later. I know these days are busy days for contractors but still. When i wanted to make those design changes with sembro i called Leo (contractor who came to do my estimate) directly on his cell which he provided for me. He said no problem ill have the new design sketched out for you and sent to you by tomorrow and the changes will not effect the price quoted. Sold. I went with Sembro and could not be happier. The whole process from the start to finish was pain free and very low pressure. They started the job and the day they said they would despite 6 inches of snow. The project ran into a couple small issue that in my past experiences with remodeling usually turned into large expense and delay. issue 1: unexpected water pipes behind a wall that was to be removed
isuue 2: uneven sub-floor
isuue 3: uneven wall due to house settling
All issue were handed quickly and at a very low cost
I could go on and on about how happy the wife and i are with the work that Sembro did but im going to sum up this review with a few pictures our new kitchen.

Very good process from start to finish. The craftmanship was excellant. I would definately recommend SemBro Designs for all your remodeling needs.

Sembro Designs just finished a complete remodel (down to the studs in some areas) of our Master Bathroom. From the initial meeting to the final walkthrough, the process was both professional and personal, and it exceeded our expectations.
The project came in right on budget (even though we added work during the process) and ahead of schedule by two weeks!
The crew, led primarily by Alex and Vitaliy, was outstanding. They worked diligently and virtually invisibly. At the end of each day's work, they did a thorough clean up and we were able to live in the space uninterrupted.
We will definitely use them for our next remodeling job.

We recently had our 1960's family room updated by SemBro. They essentially tore the room down to the studs - removing all the outdated wood trim, the old, original paneling and the dated built-in plywood cabinets. They added insulation and soundproofing, added can lights, built in new modern cabinets and bookshelves, drywalled and painted the room, refinished the floor and installed all new modern looking trim (floor, doors and crown moulding).
Despite the fact that this was a comparatively small job for SemBro, they treated us as if we were the most important customer they have ever had. The Project Manager, Erik, came frequently to inspect the work and discuss the project. Kate, the Designer, added her creativity and was very helpful with the materials selection and follow-up. And we can't say enough about Alex, a remodeling perfectionist who was at our house every day for 3 weeks completing almost every aspect of the job.
I should also point out that we contacted two other well respected, quality local remodeling companies before SemBro - one which we had hired for two previous jobs. SemBro's price was significantly lower.
Needless to say, we can highly recommend SemBro and will re-hire them in a heartbeat should we need more work done.

We had 2 bathrooms remodeled with Sembro. The gentleman that specifically did our master bathroom, Don, was amazing. His professionalism, communication, punctuality, and craftsmanship was very clear from start to finish. If getting work done with Sembro, I would definitely ask for Don to do your project. You will not be disappointed.
