They are a great business and we have been using them for over 10 years. Very prompt, reasonably priced, experienced and clean up after they are done! They cut down one of our 25 foot trees in less than a hour..it was unbelievable to watch them all work in sync! We never even think about calling anyone but Ron and Ohio Tree!

Ron has been our tree guy for 22 years. If a large branch falls, a tree looks sick or if one of our big trees need to be thinned out they take care of it! They work fast and always clean up. Plus, they are so friendly. When I see them working in the neighborhood, they always say hi!

Such a great company and crew! Had two trees on the roof and the crew was fantastic at removing them. They were very professional and very careful as they removed the trees and made sure there was no additional damage to the house. They cleaned up the work area afterwards and made it so you couldn't tell a tree was there. Definitely recommend this company for any tree service!

Ron, Flavio, and team did a top-notch job removing a tricky tree in tight quarters! The job required operating their crane close to power lines and structures, and they still got everything removed and cleaned up in five hours. Very professional and smooth crew!

An incredibly professional, responsive and organized team. Respected our property and took down a large oak with no damage. Made it look easy. Cleaned everything up as they went along, as if the tree was never there. Very satisfied with their work.

Flavio and Leonard were amazing! We had a dead 55-60 foot walnut tree which, had it fallen on its own would have wiped out at least a fence, and either our or or neighbor's houses. The way they engineered the partial cutting in stages so that the big pieces would swing away from anything that could be damaged was impressive! They also cut a few other dead trees, cut them into manageable pieces, and placed them into a pile before tidying up. Based on our experience, we would definitely recommend them for your own needs!

Professional, polite, and prompt.

The service was reasonably and competitively priced. The scheduling was adaptive to my needs and concerns of the safety of a large dying tree over my neighbors property from my property. One more gust of wind, kind of situation. The removal was safe and precise. The cleanup was well done.

Showed up shortly after being called. Removed a sick raccoon from the property quickly and the pricing was fair.

Very pleased with the service that Varment Guard provided. Removed the critters form the attic, and shored up all known, and potential entry points. Hoping not to need them again, but will certainly be a repeat customer should the need arise, and would recommend them highly.

Zack came to help us identify what we thought was surely a dead animal. He helped us figure it out and fixed/cleaned up the mess from the hunt. He was kind, polite and on time. He did a fantastic job and would definitely call this company again in the event we have another possible dead animal.

One of their drivers pulled infeont of me in the left lane and slowed down to under the speed limit on 71 north. I flashed my lights and he brake checked me. Pulled out to pass and he speeds up and flipped me off

Got Bats? These are the guys to call. Easy to work with and very personable. Mike, Ethan, and Chris came out and sealed the exterior for any possible entrance for wildlife to access. I’ve worked with other wildlife extractors in the past. This crew is knowledgeable, and professional. Happy to have done business with them.

John is excellent to work with. He took care of our initial problem with trapping ansquirrel.
Next, he is going to work with us for bat extraction. This is a larger investment, however we feel assured that John will get the job done. He is reliable, quick to respond, and has great follow up. I have already referred John and others are pleased as well with his service.

They used to be very professional when I hired them to remove the raccoons from my house a few years ago, the technician told me he would trap the raccoons, checked the attic and removed nests if it was there, and he did a great job back then. In December 2024 I hired them again to check the squirrel issue on my roof, I hired them to remove the squirrel, I thought squirrel removal included the removal of squirrel nest. But it turned out they didn’t remove the nest. After I posted my review, the company called me to clarify that the technician didn’t communicate well that the squirrel removal doesn’t include the nest removal. It’s just a lesson learned to ask any questions you can think of before putting the money down.

Raccoons are known for their persistence and resourcefulness, often displaying an alarming degree of tenacity, and the same can be said of the technicians at Varment Guard. Matt S. at VG and the raccoons were both highly adaptable and quickly learned how to overcome obstacles to achieve their goals. Varment Guard won, and the critters were deported.
