They cleaned my grandmothers gutters and made sure to clean it very well because the last company who did the gutters didn't do a good job and left a mess. They repaired some places where the gutters were losing hold on the house too. They charged a great value. We are grateful.

I hired them to clean my gutters last year and was told it wouldn't be necessary to be home when the cleaning took place. I happened to be home for a few minutes when the agent initially arrived. He asked if there were any problem areas he should be aware of and I pointed a few places out to him. Most of the areas pointed out have been better, but there was a particular area that has still been overflowing all year, leading me to think there was a problem with the gutter. I inspected it this past weekend and found almost 2 inches of silt packed down in my gutter. It seemed clear this area had been completely missed during last years cleaning. I have concerns there may be other areas of my gutter system that were potentially missed as well.

I spoke with someone from customer service who was kind, but unable to offer to a solution other charging me for another gutter cleaning, with a $20 discount for the inconvenience. If using their service I'd recommend being present for the cleaning and able to inspect their work in the days afterward. Based on this experience, I probably will look for someone else the next time I need my gutters cleaned.

I called on a Thursday to have my gutter reattached due to the strong winds removing most of it from my home. They said it could take a week to come out. Surprisingly the next morning they were at my house doing the work. They were very professional and quick. They did a great job and I am sure I will use their service again in the future.

Very difficult to work with. In June, 2021, we were starting to get a new concrete driveway. The downspouts would have put the runoff directly onto and eventually under the new driveway. I called Dan the Gutterman and told them what I wanted to do. They took forever to respond to my request. It took me several attempts to call them to finally get one of their crews to come out to look at the job and give me an estimate. The driveway was finished in October. I had finally given up on Dan the Gutterman. Then, out to nowhere, in January, 2022, I received a call from one of their crews saying they were on the way. It took them seven months to get a job that took them an hour and a half to do. Now, they want their money. They certainly have not been shy about mailing invoices, emailing me, and now telephoning me. As far as I'm concerned, they can wait to be paid for seven months, just like they did to us. If they weren't interested in performing the work I wanted done, why didn't they just say so in the beginning. Dan the Gutterman was referred to me by another company. I figured I'd get good service and quicker response since my business was referred to them. Yes, the work got done, finally, at a reasonable cost. But, it was not worth the headache trying to deal with them.

*This is an update to state that multiple weeks later they have not only not actually gone through with the requested refund, it is been impossible for me to get indirect contact with them again and the estimate that I got for repairing what they had destroyed was $422. I am out just short of $600 because of this company. Never use them. I am already considering legal counsel.

I called them for a broken gutter that was falling off. They forgot about me for 13 out of 14 days in their window, I had to call them the Friday before the last day (Monday) showed up on day and then broke the gutter more. It was sagging in the middle now it's broken off on both ends.

I'm currently fighting to get my money back. I will never go to this company again. Unprofessional from top to bottom.

I called a couple days ago and they were able to fit me in today. They did a great job and even trimmed a couple branches hanging over my gutters. They didn’t leave a mess and showed me pictures from before and after.
I recommend them.

The current 3.4 star average is kind of absurd. This is a long review as it also contains advice. I think 4 stars is right. I am making this 5 because these ratings are pretty much 5 stars you would hire them again and anything less is you would not. I also respect that I don't think they care or push getting reviews because they are busying getting stuff done. I have hired some 4.5 star contractors/services that were not good. All talk to make you feel good about the situation but average execution and higher costs.

**Context**: I had my gutters replaced and additional downspouts added to improve water flow on a large two story house. I also had some fascia replaced.

I understand it is frustrating when contract work does not start as scheduled. I view it as just a fact of life as I am also not great at knowing exactly how long something is going to take. The best way to keep prices down/reasonable is to have a full schedule. This means sometimes things slip. Suzanne is awesome to talk with over email.

Now for some advice. 1) Ask them what they think about the current water flow. It might be perfect or maybe there are some tweaks that can be made. My goal was to avoid water dumping out on the the shingles, I would rather see a gutter than have my shingles worn out. 2) It would shock me if your fascia is not in need of repair if your gutters are worn out. I suggest building this into the estimate and replacing a bunch of it with boards you paint yourself ahead of time. More so if your house is very tall. I did this and I wish I had replaced even more. 3) In a perfect world you would try to get them to remove the gutters and then you or have a very awesome scheduled painter, paint the fascia before adding the new gutters. This is likely impossible but a boy can dream.

Is work better or worse than it was 30 years ago? I have no idea. I am pretty certain the wages for construction, in most instances, are lower. If you plan ahead and make it clear what you want, then you will have a great out come.

I would recommend them 100%. I doubt your experience with someone else would be better.

After the torrential rains we've gotten over the past month, we suspected that our gutters were clogged with leaves. We contacted Dan The Gutterman and scheduled an inspection. Dan's crew showed up on time, were very professional, and tackled our project. They found the clogged areas and took immediate steps to remediate the problem and provided before and after pictures! The cost for the service was very fair and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

These guys have been clearing our gutters like clockwork for the past several years. They are always efficient, responsible, quiet and responsive. Sam and his crew were no exception. They showed up, did the work smoothly and swiftly, left us with a thank you and an invoice, reasonably priced.
Seriously, who wants to worry about their gutters or get up on a 2.5 story ladder to clear them? So happy we have Dan the Gutterman to take care of business. Highly recommend!!

No idea if their work is any good, but their customer service is lacking. They got back to me initially with some questions about the property, then ghosted me for 10 days. When I reached back out to them to see if they were still interested in quoting the job, they told me they charge for estimates even though their web site says free estimates. I'm not paying someone money just to tell me how much they want to charge me for putting gutters on a cape cod.

I called Dan The Gutterman because the high gutters I could not reach. The same day Sam and his helper came and did excellent job cleaning my gutters. And they were very professional, I am very pleased with the results. I will be calling Dan The Gutterman the next time I need my gutters cleaned.

My gutters were packed to the gills when Sam’s team from Dan The Gutterman arrived. My house has challenges, like high gutters with a steep pitched roof and close electrical wires. It was raining but they cranked that job out like a hungry man eating breakfast! They are skilled, courteous and thorough. No leaves or debris left behind. My porch and deck are cleaner than when they arrived. Price quoted was the price paid. I will never use another company.

Dan the Gutterman came out on January 4, 2024 to clean my gutters. I had new gutters and gutter guards put on a year or so ago, but they still needed to be cleaned. I had thousands of little helicopters from my old Maple tree laying on top of the guards and they needed to be removed. Dan the Gutterman removed all the debris on top of the guards and anything under the guards. They cleaned up any debris that was on the ground and blew off the porch, sidewalk and driveway. They took pictures of what they had done when they were on the roof and showed those to me. Dan the Gutterman did a terrific job and i would recommend them to anyone. Thanks, Patti

I have obtained service from Dan the Gutterman for several years and have been extremely happy with the consistency in excellent service from the team. Mel & Sam were fantastic with my most recent service experience.

I have been using Dan the Gutterman for a very long time (20 years?). Anyone who understands what clogged, unserviceable gutter and downspout drains can do to a basement foundation knows the value of the service Dan the Gutterman provides. I just had my roof replaced and asked them to snake the drains out to the street to clean out any debris that may have washed down the gutters. They came out within a day of my service request. The crew headed by Chris did a great job. They found a bunch of debris and cleared it out. The City in which I live operates a bi-weekly a leaf collection service in the fall. I saw the truck and walked out to rake my front yard leaves. However, I was still recovering from surgery so I was a bit slow. As the truck approached my yard, Chris pulled a leaf blower out of his truck and helped me get all the leaves collected. I didn't ask him to do this, he just started doing it. Working together, we were able to collect all the leaves in my front yard into a pile along the tree lawn in time for the truck to collect them all. I even found some other debris from the roof that was missed by the roofing crew. Chris grabbed that debris and put it in his waste collection receptacle for me just so I didn't have to go out of my way. Everyone I work with a Dan the Gutterman is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend their service.

After recent heavy weather we noticed our gutters were backed up during a heavy rain. We've used Dan The Gutterman in the past and gave them a call. Sam and Mel came out and did a thorough cleaning and flushing of our gutters. Total pro's, they took pictures both before and after and were very professional and courteous. Highly recommend their services.

We have only had wonderful experiences with Dan the Gutterman. We have used them multiple times at our personal residence and now have also had them clean the gutters at our family business. The service technician called before his arrival to verify it was a good time and was extremely polite. They worked quickly and efficiently and even had taken before and after photos for my review (no way I wasn't getting on the roof!). They cleaned up after themselves and let me know when they were complete. We will definitely use them again!

We called Dan the Gutter Man as a follow up from previous fine downspouts and drain work that they had completed for us. This time, it was for gutter cleaning. They arrived on time, were very efficient, gave us extensive before, and after photos of their work, and followed up with phone calls to make sure that we were satisfied. The team at Dan the Gutterman are very responsive and professional. They are extremely easy to work with to schedule a gutter cleaning appointment. The work is done well and they clean up all debris from the gutter. I feel so much better not having to climb a latter to clean the gutters, especially on the 2nd floor. I’ve used their service for the last 3 years and they do not disappoint.
