Bought Emerald Green Arborvitae from Strader's. Purchased 5 and 2 died. Took them back and wasn't able to get exchange because I purchased them at half off. If Strader's has plants at half off their life expectancy is also half off. 50/50 chance they will survive. Strader's doesn't care as long as you buy them. Bad way to do business to keep customers. I won't be stopping down at the Broad Street Strader's for any other plants. If you don' get them at half off then their prices are high. Boo Strader's!!

Too expensive and no one greeted or acknowledged me the entire time I was in the store... but they do have a really nice selection of healthy looking plants. I needed a pot and they didn't have any that I was willing to pay the price for.

Went to Straders on Broad yesterday and at check out there was a price issue with some of the plants I had picked out . My mother nicely said the sign said something different to the girl checking us out but a tall man working there who was just standing at the front door interjected protesting. He did nothing but continue to be condescending to both of us . There is no need to talk to customers like that . Maybe you could make your signs more clear to the average person and there wont be any issues . Wont be going back .

Another Person commented about the manager ,every time I go in there she seems like she has an attitude and I don't particularly care for her at all but but all the other employees are very nice, very kind, I just ignore her... she can give you a look like there's no tomorrow but I really don't care cause she doesn't affect my life one way or another but yeah, I don't know what her issue is..but it's a nice store just overlooked the manager LMAFO Thanks for mentioning that because I thought it was just me but Now I know due to other comments that , that is not the case. I am actually considering going to fishers or somewhere else because why would I support a business give them my hard earned dollars only to come in and get an attitude? If you can't quit glaring at your customers whyour customers why should they give you their money? I'm really considering going elsewhere except going elsewhere except for certain things that I need

I prefer going to Straders over the big box stores like Lowe's or Home Depot when it comes to lawn and garden care. The store is more targeted towards this, and it has a really good indoor and outdoor nursery. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Now you may not find every brand under the sun, but what they do have is great and provides good variety.

*note* There were proper Covid-19 precautions in place throughout the store and the staff wore masks.

Best customer service I've ever experienced. I had a hard time understanding the sale signs (as things gets moved around due to the busy season I'm sure) and a nice girl walked out with me and explained the sale prices and helped me understand what sales were for what and gave me options for an item that wasn't on sale. Everyone is very friendly and willing to help! I will definitely be back :)

Tons of selection and the prices were half of what I usually pay at Lowe's or Wilson's Garden in Newark. I'll definitely be coming here from now on!

Employees are helpful and help you learn a lot about plant care. They are thorough and make time for the customer. Plant quality is great and I love their house plants. Bushes and trees are a little pricey but worth it.

I personally used to love this place! I've shopped there for 20 yrs but the last 3 yrs my experience has been just upsetting...I think the proper word is. You plan a garden by color and height so when you look at the label you think that's what you're getting.nope! Different colors different heights. I bought a butterfly bush that was supposed to get 8ft it's a dwarf! I bought peonies and all is pink even tho I thought I was buying multiple colors. I spent $350 on my last trip there Last summer and had to dig up and redo my garden because everything was mis labeled. I called the store and they said they would have a manager call me bck n after trying for about a week I just said nvr again will I shop there!

It's easy to see why Strader's was busy today. Yeah, nicer weather on a Saturday in Spring does bring out the gardener in many but having a great selection with good prices will bring even more weekend workers. 😀 The staff is friendly and helpful and the young seasonal workers eager to help made our trip a pleasant experience, plus we got what we were looking for at reasonable prices. Go Strader's!

Oh, the beautiful flowers for Fall in there! A feast for the eyes. 🌼🌻 We needed potting soil...almost time to plant garlic in Grow Bags. The clerk complimented me on my hand-made bag. That was sweet of her.

What a beautiful place! So peaceful, with cool people and beautiful plants. The plants I got in the spring look great in mid July! I just harvested my first tomato from a pot on my deck. I asked an employee for a small bag of lime, he didn't stop looking till he found it. Most employees elsewhere aren't as helpful... p.s. cat people, they have some really cool toy mice that rattle, cat goes crazy!

I visit this particular Straders often as they seem to stock more rare and unusual houseplants than the other locations. Staff are typically friendly and helpful (aside from one negative experience which was had in the past), and I love their selection of macrame and in-home furnishings. The reason for the 3-star review today is because of the overwhelming odor of cat urine which has been persistently present and worsening with each of my most recent visits. At first I explained away the unpleasant odor as perhaps some type of fertilizer or pesticide treatment they had used on the plants, but this Saturday when I dropped in, the odor was undeniable and strong enough to make my eyes water. It's not that I take issue with cats being present within the facility, it's simply that an odor like this is an undeniable indication of less than sanitary conditions in addition to being unpleasant/distasteful. I hope this review reaches ownership/management so that something may be done to remedy the problem before it significantly impacts the business.

Strader's has a huge variety of plants, both indoor and outdoor, but it's hard to tell what things cost at times (note: prices may be excessive).Also, some plants lack labels.

On the up side, there's ample parking, the staff are helpful and friendly, and there's a good chance they have whatever you're looking for.

What I really dislike is that they don't take American Express. With today's card processing options, there's no longer a difference in fees, so there's no reason not accept all major cards.

It's not my first choice, but if I'm in the area, I might stop by to see if things have changed.

Beautiful nursery. Lots of great pots and decor and the plants are well maintained and look great. I've been twice since I moved here. I'll go back again.

I make sure to stop here every Christmas in early December. It puts me in a great mood to start the season. The smell of the fresh cut trees was wonderful yesterday. I always buy my extra greens here too. They also carry a great soy candle line and their poinsettias are also extra beautiful. Enjoy!

I went here for the first time last week. They have a beautiful selection and you can tell how much more healthy their plants are compared to other places. The staff is educated on gardening and if one person doesn't know a specific answer, they find someone who does. As someone new there it was a bit hard to navigate around but that's barely a gripe for me

I absolutely love having such a wonderful garden center so close by in Reynoldsburg. Straders carries very high quality well-tended plants and the pricing is in line with other garden centers in the area. The plant identity is well marked and organized which makes the shopping easier. Also the staff is always friendly and helpful as though they really care. I’ve shopped there for years and have never been disappointed.

This place is amazing! I recently became a plant lady so I wanted to check out their selection. I was not disappointed! So many varieties on my wish list could be found here. On top of that the staff is fabulous! Everyone was so helpful and gave me new plant parent tips. They even offered to look at some photos of issues I was having with my homestash and offered solutions and resources. I cannot wait to go again!

First, I’ve gotten some nice plants here and they have the soil that I love. My issue is that the last time I was there, I wasn’t acknowledged at all. I get to the register and still, cashier doesn’t say “Hi” or anything. Rings up my soil but just stands there and doesn’t tell me my total. I pay and she just proceeds to turn toward another employee while sticking my receipt out at me. No “ thank you” “have a nice day” NOTHING. I guess customer service doesn’t matter anymore. I’ll just carry my business elsewhere.

Good experience. I wish there was pest management somehow. My collection is growing, and I can't risk it with some of the plants here. But I still love a good straders trip.
