Mark assessed the problem first. He was extremely professional, dedicated, caring, with exceptional listening skills. Mark call to ensure my safety since temperatures were dropping, the install wasn’t to take place for another couple days, I’m elderly. Jeff and Brian came next to install my new furnace. I was impressed with their teamwork, communication skills, and again professionalism. The quality of the work and the entire process from meeting Mark to the finish of the install went well beyond my expectations. These three gentlemen are an excellent representation for your company, impressive technical skills, disciplined, dedicated, and motivated. Exactly who I want to come into my home, you couldn’t even tell they had been here, tarps were put down, everything was picked up when they left, they explained in detail about how the furnace runs in terms I understand. Even gave me a new carbon monoxide alarm. Filled out warranty & rebate forms with me and then took them to file them. They are absolutely awesome.

Our furnace went out this past weekend. I contacted Delaware Heating & Air at 10:00am on Saturday morning and their HVAC service technician, DJ was there by noon. He was great to work with, very informative and forthright. He helped to answer all of the questions I had and always kept us in communication throughout the diagnosis process. Upon receipt of the parts that were needed to correct the repair, two technicians, Randal and Clayton, came out Monday morning to install. They were just as great to work with and, again, answered all my questions. The service really is five stars and I will recommend them to anyone I know going forward. Thanks for your hard work and help.

Mark Pyles was super nice and showed and told everything he did in detail. .He is a great guy. The install guys was excellent and told what they were going to do and took care in protecting our new wood floors. Very professional and nice and cleaned up and explained everything about the new furnace. We can’t say enough about how great this company is. They deserve 5 stars !!

Our AC went out and found this company on Google and went with them I initially bye to the high number of positive reviews. Those reviews were right on. Mark came and and easily spent an hour or two literally checking everything with our system. When he found the problem, he was very helpful in going over our options with us. I had spent a lot of time researching, knowing an HVAC replacement was probably in our future and everything he said and quoted was in line with what I had read. He didnt try to push a more expensive, higher than really needed seer system on us and he helped us navigate the financing and everything. Obviously it still stung price wise, but that's the nature of these kind of things. But their quote wasn't outside the ranges I had been seeing. The install team was equally as professional and were here close to 8 or so hours. They took the time to install everything properly and stayed around to check and make sure there were no issues. They followed up the next morning checking if everything was working properly and that we were happy with it. We would definitely recommend them!

Five Star was efficient and Quick! to schedule house call day after I called. Technician Scott arrived at time promised, explained repair, and returned next day with parts. Recommended replacement of other parts that were near end (27 year old furnace!) and completed entire job in 2 hours.Now runs like new! Very pleased with Five Star!

Curious and pleasant to work with. He didn't need to try hard to sell, I already knew it was time. Although I did appreciate the information I was given. It wasn't good news, but it matched what I already expected.

This is the second time I have used Delaware Heating for a safety inspection and each time they found a problem that may have save our lives ( I had not turned my furnace on yet thank goodness) and I had a second opinion the 1st time just to be sure and they were right and actually better price. I definitely trust Scott and his team with my families safety.

We will use Delaware Heating & Air for all future service needs! Our air went out just when the heat wave hit and they were able to schedule us for service quickly. The technician, Mitch, was on time, very polite and explained the issue and repairs needed in detail. He had our air back on within an hour and the price was reasonable! Thank you!

Helped me out in a Quick pinch. Informative and helpful while being 100% transparent. Best experience I had with any service/handy man to date. Not sure if anywhere gives as good service for the price.

Had Scott come out to do a diagnostic and estimate on a new HVAC system. He was very knowledgeable, explained everything, and answered all my questions (even after he left). He explained how the company gives to charity through its profits for purpose initiative. Very happy with the work Scott did for us!

Eric was friendly and professional. He performed a detailed inspection of our HVAC and gave us the necessary information we needed to make informed decisions on repairing or replacing our units.

6/20 Update: Unfortunately I feel I should update and lower my review. I had Five Star to my home 4 times so it's a bit too much to add all details.

In summary, we had a new Thermostat installed, first few calls were to repair that which went really well. Great service to get it working correctly.

A week later we noticed the house not cooling and I found my coil frozen. I had them out one more time (different tech). He said my system was 6 lbs low on Freon and quoted me almost $1k to fill it but recommended against it. He instead suggested a brand new system for ~$11k. He said he couldn't find the leak but that he could see the service pictures from the last tech that showed all the pressures were correct. He suggested we had lost 6 pounds in about a week and at that loss rate, I needed a new system. I explained I wanted to try and fix the leak and buy myself a year or two as the budget was tight on the new house. No agreement was reached. I did receive a follow up call to push buying a new unit.

I called a different company and explained the situation. They were able to come service the unit. For less than $200 they added only 2 lbs. of refrigerant and also found no leak. Unit has been running perfectly for over a month now and keeps the house nice and cool through this heat wave. I know this isn't a long term solution but was exactly what I needed. Pushing for too much freon at an exaggerated price to try and sway a customer to a brand new unit is questionable.

Original Review: Called late Sat, tech came early Sunday. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Corrected the issue and also explained a lot about the system I didn’t understand. Will certainly call them next time I need service!

DJ was here today for a service call. He is incredibly knowledgable and friendly. We will be requesting him from now on…
