I couldn't be more impressed with Mount Gilead plumbing. We returned from vacation and found we had no hot water. I did my usual google search for companies and I saw Mount Gilead plumbing and their 5 star reviews but realized all the reviews were recent which worried me somewhat and instead we decided to go with Emergency Plumbing Services out of Delaware, OH who have high reviews as well but a long history of them. Emergency Plumbing Service came out and looked at the hot water heater and determined it needed a new part or it needed replaced. They charged us 132.00 to diagnose the problem and gave us a quote for an electric water heater and powervent gas. I decided to give Pearl and Brian a call just because some of the issues Emergency Plumbing Services was telling us didn't add up (possibility of Carbon Monoxide etc...) and I wanted a 2nd quote. Brian and Pearl only charged 25.00 to come out and diagnose the problem and determined that the hot water heater would need a new part or replaced Just like Emergency Plumbing Service. We just moved into the house and it's only a 30 gallon water tank and we are about to be a family of five so we knew we would be replacing the tank sooner than later anyways. Brian gave a quote for a tankless and powervent gas water heater and informed me on hybrid electric water heaters but he ultimately recommended a tankless hot water heater by Navien. Brian went over every single aspect of the system, what they would need to do, how to vent it, where they could install, how long it would take, while also answering question after question I was asking. We also found we had 1/2 inch lines going to 3/4 lines and water lines running right behind our breaker box. Ultimately we decided not to call Emergency Plumbing Services back as Pearl and Brian beat their price, were way more thorough, answered every question I threw at them, scheduled us quickly and when I came home after install Brian was there to show me all the features of our new Navien tankless system and all our old mess of water lines replaced with new Pex lines safely away from out electrical box. I couldn't be more thrilled with the service and efficiency of these two guys. You could make the 132.00 mistake I did by calling another company but do yourself a favor, trust the reviews and schedule these guys. You won't be disappointed. On top of everything I just mentioned, theyre just genuinely nice guys and very personable. I'm glad to know if we have any future issues, we have a trusting, high quality plumbing service near by! Again, thank you guys for your service! We love our new system!

We have used this company a few times and had excellent experiences. They are professional, quick to reply and do great work. We really appreciated that they cleaned up after the job and we were charged exactly the quoted amount.
They show up when they say they will which is hard to find anymore.

Are you kidding me? Why are there only 5 stars available to give these folks? I called Pearl right t 8:00am, they had a few other jobs ahead of me, they were at my house just after 12:00pm, and my pipes were unfrozen in less than 40 minutes. The bill was more than fair...especially considering these guys had to get in a crawl space under a more than 100 year old house in this brutally cold weather. I was so appreciative that they were able to come out to help me today...they will for sure be who I call when and if I need a plumber in the future (knock on wood)!

Excellent company to work with.
They were very responsive to our problem. Showed up quickly. Told me how they were going to repair the problem. Repaired it and done in under an hour. Things are back to normal.

I called Mount Gilead Plumbing early on a Sunday morning regarding a sump pump related emergency. I spoke with Pearl and within less than one hour, Brian was at my house and worked quickly to resolve the issue. Prompt...professional...excellent service at a fair price. Brian with Mount Gilead was amazing and will be my plumber from this day forward. Very friendly and experienced. We ran into a snag with our cooktop when he was moving the gas line and he helped me through the whole process. Even came back a second time for no additional charge. These guys are great. They have a binder of prices they will show you for most services they could offer. Pricing is very transparent and their work is very high quality. Brian also knows some great, cringeworthy dad jokes he can share as well.

This Plumbing business was recommended to by a family member who has had work done by them. Our water pump stopped working during the night and we discovered it the next morning. At 8:00am I started calling Plumbing businesses starting with 2 that we had used before and they couldn’t help us. I called Mt. Gilead Plumbing and talked with Pearl Fox and told him our problem. He said he would call me back which he did. I gave him directions to come out and he did and diagnosed the problem ( pump was wore out). He told me what it would cost and said his team could install a new pump today and within a couple of hours we had water again. Very professional people and they come highly recommended by me and my family.

This guy is AMAZING and is so accommodating. He does a fantastic job and is very well priced. I have his number on my contacts and will always go to him when I have a plumbing issue. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We had a minor job done. The technician did a phenomenal job. He we above and beyond and only cost me 20.00 more than the quote. I will definitely call them if I need any more plumbing jobs done.

I noticed water in my crawlspace and assumed I had a leaky pipe. I scheduled an appointment online, and they were able to get me scheduled within 3 days. Pearl, Chris and Ron were extremely friendly and helpful. They were able to find the leak almost immediately (drain pipe in master bathtub) and had it fixed within about 15 minutes. They were extremely professional and explained everything so that I was able to understand. Price was very reasonable. I will definately be using them in the future for all my plumbing needs. Brian at Mount Gilead, Plumbing is really great… I wanted a plumber closer to where I live and Brian does a great job, my water supply line was leaking and Brian came after hours and fixed/replaced eight it in about 10 minutes -rebuilding it completely and I know it will last as long as the water heater does if not longer! He makes sure to keep everything clean and neat and a really nice man. Thanks so much Brian I appreciate your help and quick response time, Jim ! 👏

We were 2-1/2 hours from home at jelly stone camp ground .. my rv hot water tank line broke .. I called Brian and he came out same day and fixed it at a good price .. top notch company thank you ..Brian was very friendly and professional

I called Brian and explained mom's situation. Unable to turn off water in bath tub. He said he was booked solid; then asked if she was on well water or city water. City, of course. He said he would fit us in. He called after his last job, came over promptly and fixed the problem for us. He found another problem and we have him scheduled to come back to fix it.
