Called to ask details on mulch.. wanted to pick up a scoop with my trailer, and was told it's hit or miss if someone will be there to load me up.. and then I asked possibly about delivery and prices, and was told she wasn't aware at the moment.. and told me last years prices as a reference.. just didn't feel like my buiesnes was wanted here at Gerbers.. Will go elsewhere.

Began seeding new lawn on June 18, 2018 and still waiting for them to complete work. Although I see them right across street working on other people's yards. When they have been paid in full since the very day work began. Called again today to find out when they planned on finishing since its been three weeks in counting. After the call to their office the people who work for them who are working across the street came over rung door bell to say not to water backyard area. So im assuming someone in the office called and told him to finish our yard. To say the least this is not how you treat customers its not right and this is totally inexcusable as I should be treated just as any other customer. Finally as I see my neighbors yards around me weren't done this way so why is mine being treated less than or as though not important even to finish in a normal timeframe as everyone elses they have done within a day or two. But mine is still not complete after three weeks. Its July 9 and we have to keep calling to try in get it completed while they have had money in hand from the start prior to completion of this project. At this point once finished I would never hire this company again, because I feel like I was done wrong and its simply not right to do paying customers this way. #disgusted with service recieved

This company is horrible! They start off great giving very reasonable and timely quotes and expectations of what you will receive and then it all falls apart once they receive your money. Horrible customer service with poor communication and workmanship. Our lawn came in very spotty and not at all In some places, beds are very uneven and full of clay not processed soil. They completely forgot to put in one of our beds and placed plants incorrectly. When this was brought to there attention we were given excuse after excuse instead of solutions on how it will get fixed. We were passed off from our sales women Katie to a worker who told us multiple times that he would be fielding all her calls from now on and has only communicated through text message. Well let me tell you they will not be receiving final payment until we are satisfied.
We will be sure to share this information with our neighbors and neighbors to come as we live in the first phase of a development being built.
Lesson learned that you get what you pay for... (or maybe not)

Highly recommend not using this company for any landscaping or lawn service. Poor quality of work, never answered their office phone or returned voicemails after weeks of trying to get in contact, and basically said we are out of luck for our horrible lawn installation. Top soil layer was thin and rocky, we had several areas of pooling water due to poor leveling, and they just throw whatever grass seed down (regardless of time of year, sun vs shaded yards, etc). When asked if they could address the areas described above, they said we would have to pay extra even though it was their poor initial service. Every yard in our neighborhood installed by them looks awful and is basically a rocky field of weeds. Any lawn that was re-serviced by another company looks wonderful. Would advise against using Gerber’s because you will have to find another landscaper eventually anyway. Save your money and the headache.

Don’t use these guys to do anything for you!!! They came out to grade and seed our yard and left a huge mess. They put down a half inch of dirt for top soil and thought that was enough. They never answer the phone (I’m sure they’re tired of complaints) so it’s impossible to communicate with anyone.

I have never written a review before but I just really want to give a big THANK YOU to Lakeshore Design! They made this whole experience flawless from design to completion. They transformed our sloping hill of a back yard into usable beautiful outdoor space. I highly recommend their services for any outdoor landscaping jobs, big or small.
