They do a shoddy job. The yards in our neighborhood look horrible. Uneven grass. Not even bothering to do any trimming. They barely walk thru the front yard with a weeded and move on. If a large riding mower won’t fit they don’t bother

My condo association has used Gear for ages and I think they do a great job!!! Unfortunately because of some people that complain about everything we will be going with another company next year. I told our management company that the majority of us have had ZERO issues and that the people that complain about everything should be told to hire their own company and pay for it themselves.

Do not use them! They are absolutely horrible! I live in an apartment community that uses them. They overlook way too many things. The dog park hasn't been mowed in weeks. Alot of the mowing looks choppy with many spots completely missed. The worst lawn service I've ever seen!

I was driving through Fairfield on the bypass and one of your drivers chose to cut me off and make me swerve into a different lane to avoid an accident. Then he proceeded to speed ahead and almost cause several more accidents. Usually I wouldn't complain about this kind of thing, but I have lost friends to this kind of wreckless driver. I called and left a couple of messages, but never heard back. I really would hope this driver would be reprimanded and held accountable.

Great company. They do their best to deliver quality landscaping at a fair and honest price. The customer service they provide is the best in the Greater-Cincinnati area.

Unfortunately, our HOA hired this company to cut our grass. They haven’t cut or edged our grass for 3 weeks! The areas that need to be edged are almost a foot high! Don’t use this company, they are terrible!

I spent quite a while observing a TR Gear landscaping truck in the parking lot of Petsmart today. While it is the first week of mild weather here in Dayton, it is absolutely absurd to think that 3 men need to be out here in a deserted parking lot all blowing their 2-stroke engines with absolutely no purpose. I actually investigated more closely and indeed, the only thing being blown by these horribly loud and polluting leaf blowers was a few pieces of gravel in the very back of the parking lot, where nobody parks and nobody cares. My uncle, Tom Gear, is the man who started this business and built it from the ground up. I’m ashamed to say that my last name is associated with such a company that chooses profit over protecting our environment and our peace and quiet. February 26th is NOT the time to fire up that lawn equipment, ESPECIALLY not to mindlessly blow some gravel around an empty parking lot. I’ll be glad to never recommend this company to anyone in the future.

I’ve never used this company for service. However, one of their crews were taking a lunch break at the Wilmington Pike Walmart and I needed assistance loading a grill into my truck. With out hesitation, one of the young gentleman came over to help load the grill. His assistance was greatly appreciated!

This company is very negligent! Do not use for your lawn services , they don't answer the phone , don't have any type of insurance ,
And I can see by the review highly do not recommend. I have been trying to get in touch with the owner or manager of this company since April and no one has contacted me. I will be filing a Better Business Bureau can complete and I will make sure that someone reaches out to me and replaces my tail light

James Pizzo and his team are outstanding. Their landscaping work is consistently professional, timely, and high quality. James is easy to communicate with, pays attention to detail, and truly takes pride in what he does. From routine maintenance to larger projects, everything has been handled smoothly and with care. This company plows snow at Mercy Fairfield Hospital. I was parked at the front door to pick my wife (an administrator) who works there. The truck with the plow and salt came through the awning area and shot salt all over my car. I beeped at him. He then came thru giving me the middle finger and shot salt all over the side of our brand new car intentionallly. Then he came thru a THIRD TIME in which I was able to record the incident. One of the grounds crew employees who said his name is Ivan personally apologized because he saw the entire incident and was obviously embarrassed and ashamed at what happened. He agreed it was done maliciously and intentionally. We plan on following up with this thru the company and the hospital. RIDICULOUS

Yes their website is very misleading they do not buy Japanese maples or they do not refer anybody who is wanting to sell one

Older gentlemen I'm guessing is don was very rude was talking to the cashier an need a print out not only did he get into are conversations but said we can't hold the only cash register up very rude
