American electric (Jim) always does a great job! He has installed many light fixtures in my home. He also fixed a potential electrical hazard in my garage.
He always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is exactly how you want it! Highly recommend!

The Illuminating company told us our electric meter base was overheating and needed replaced. We got 3 estimates and American Electric was the most reasonable and on point. The other 2 companies tried to add on things that were not needed. They were very prompt and professional and coordinated well with the Illuminating co. I was very happy with their work and would highly recommend them

A really great experience. Both Steven and his assistant explained what was taking place as they were hooking up the generator and how the unit will operate once completed. Something I don't often do is recommend is a service. I will recommend American Electric.

Were able to send an electrician today, to troubleshoot the problem I was having. Found the problem & fixed it, as well as secured another item also. Was very professional, efficient, & we went over an item included in an upcoming job as well, which cleared up my questions. Looking forward to having American Electric complete another job, in near future. Would recommend them without question!

People make all the difference and the American Electric people are simply awesome. Everyone from Joe, the owner, his son Steve and all the associates are not only knowledgeable they are very efficient and helpful. This company backs there work 150%! Very professional employees that do quality work. There is no electric company id ever use again besides American Electric! I had Jeff and Kyle replace my breaker box and did an outstanding job.

Had our meter box ripped off the house by a truck and burned out the panel box too .These guys are the most respectful professional contractors I have ever used . The Illuminating company had given us a run around all day about the damage we received from last nights storm. We did exactly what they asked by calling an electric company to fix what was broke. American Electric was here within 2 hours to help. Once it was fixed the illuminating company was supposed to come back and reconnect our power. After getting the run around for 12 hours they said they can't come out now, meaning we would have had zero power all weekend!!!!
We called American Electric back and they came back out to do what the Illuminating company promised. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area!!

Then the illuminating company finally showed up at 11pm after they told us they weren’t coming. Horrible customer service!

Joe at American Electric and his crew are great!!! I called them, Joe came right out, assessed the issue, then had my office up and running by the end of the day! Joe and his crew were very pleasant, they worked all day to get my issue resolved, cleaned up after themselves and were just an awesome bunch of guys!!!

I had them install a 220V outlet in my garage to charge my electric car. The technician was on-time, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Cost of the project was more than reasonable. Easy to contact office, and office staff was very responsive. Great company, would definitely recommend.

I had a great experience. Jim Tracy came out within a few hours of calling for service. He was very thorough and professional. Jim had to trouble shoot , after some time he found the problem and corrected it. I think the cost was fair. I would definitely recommend there services.
