Hired Excel Management to remove a deck and install a concrete patio and steps. The work was completed in an extremely timely fashion and the craftsmanship and professionalism exceeded my expectations. The steps were professionally built by Jarrod and Anthony. I highly recommend Excel Management!

Very impressed with the excellent quality of work done!! Adding a room to our home has made a huge improvement- we love it!! Adam Vasil is an excellent finish carpenter who was exacting in the quality of his work. It was a pleasure to get to know him as he worked on our addition.

We recently used Excel to add a room to our home which we are loving! The quality of the work was great and the Remodeling Operations Manager Dennis Meyers was very good at communicating with us, attentive to our building detail desires and knowledgeable about the entire project from early planning to finishing touches. Highly recommend him and his crew!

Our project turned out great. The guys are nice and very professional. We did have a couple of problems with the communication between the person who quoted us and the workers, but Dan stepped in and was able to resolve those issues.

We had privacy fence and concrete patio completed. The crews did a great job. Hope to do our other patio too! Highly recommend.

We are so happy with the deck that Excel built for us! From the design, to all answering all of our questions along the way, the quality of the materials they recommended, the finish quality and attention to detail, it was all top notch. Dan, Jarrod and Anthony Stokes were all great to work with, polite, showed up on time, always left the area cleaned up at the end of the day and kept us updated throughout the process. Truly one of the better experiences we've had after MANY projects in our house. We look forward to having them back for a couple other projects we have in mind and would highly recommend them.

Awesome company employees very professional and courteous. They did an awesome job on my fence. I get neighbors and my project manager at Ryan Homes telling me how nice the fence looks. Brad is very responsive whenever I send him a message no matter what day or time it is. The communication is top notch. We don’t see good customer service anymore. I recommend this company.

My wife and I have wanted to add a deck to the back of our house for years and we finally looked in to it. Excel Mgmt. came out to see what we wanted. They explained all our options, gave suggestions to meet our dreams and answered all our questions. We decided to have Excel Mgmt. build our deck and could not be happier. The deck is 15x20, even with our back porch door and has a ramp down one side. It looks Great. Jarrod, Anthony Stokes and Anthony Whitlock did amazing work. They had the foundation all done and the deck work done in 2 days. I was amazed it was so fast. The 3rd day the fence was on and it looks great. It was November, in the 40's and the wind was really cold, they were unbelievable. They were on time, kept me updated on the progress and took time to answer any question I had. I would highly recommend people to check out Excel Mgmt. for decks and other work before making a decision.

We were in need of repair work for our pavers patio which included re sanding,leveling and sealing.The attention to detail and communication and quality of the work done,was fantastic.

I had worked with them on a HUGE product for years. When it came down to the details they did what they wanted and I came home to surprises. A railing was placed wrong on my side steps and super late to a point it was done and I came home from surgery while they werw doing it which was extremely unprofessional and inconvenient. They also poorly built my steps for the platform to my pool. They are so narrow I cannot walk up them straight. I begged for them to be fixed and they ghosted me. Now I am struggling to find someone else to fix them and its a nightmare.

Update: I was contacted over the winter. It was a good conversation and we agreed to meet in the spring as the backyard could not be viewed when covered in snow. At first I was getting replies to email, but then nothing. I have followed up politely, but as of today I have not heard back, no date set for a visit. I was really excited to get some thing resolved, but now just bummed again.

We have used 1st Impressions for two new home builds. The first included a lawn, paver patio, and landscaping. The second project included lawn installation and landscaping. John and his team are honest, professional, and fair. They work hard to give you what you want but are also knowledgeable to be able to offer advice and help steer you away from bad decisions. We have the nicest lawn in the neighborhood, they solved our water issues with strategic drainage and plantings, and will have our business any day of the week. Can't say enough great things!

The entire crew at 1st Impressions did a great job from start to finish and treated our backyard project as if it was their own home. Early on in the project, we had an issue with some of the building materials and they handled it professionally and took care of this issue immediately. I would highly recommend 1st Impressions and actually have to a number of friends and neighbors.

John and his team have completed multiple projects over that past several years at our house. These projects have ranged from simply adding landscape lighting to designing and installing a new paver patio. Clearly we have been very satisfied with their work and customer service.

I reached out to John online after having a terrible experience with another contractor, who was supposed to repair and rebuild our patio steps. John contacted me the very next day and came out shortly thereafter. My husband and I were reluctant to hire another contractor based on our previous experience, but John was incredibly understanding and patient with us throughout the whole process. John’s design suggestions were very focused on safety and on little details to make the stairs look beautiful. After John and his crew fixed the steps, they quickly have turned into our favorite feature in our backyard. We will definitely hire 1st Impressions again for all future patio projects!
