Most professional you'll find in the area. After dealing with a slew of other high priced and unreliable places, a client recommended I call them. Brad communicated through the whole process, gave a better price than everyone else and showed up when he said he would. They did a great job and went above and beyond expectations!

Requested a quote for service in mid June. They came and assessed job, provided a quote, and said they would be back to perform in 2-3 weeks (week after July 4). On week 4 when they’d neither shown up nor contacted me I called. Was told it had been too wet and they’d be out “week after next” (Week of July 27). I emailed the company in mid August and received no response. As of October 1 no one has called nor shown up.

They were amazing. They worked like a well oiled machine. Was impressive to watch. So skilled, quick and very reasonably priced. I even overheard my neighbors talking about what a great job they did cleaning up after. Already have referred them to others.

I hired this tree service to remove a tree at my mother-in-law's house, and to remove two trees at my home.

They were professional and on time. The jobs were handled perfectly, with zero issues at all.

They are a quick, efficient operation with expensive, quality equipment. This isn't a pair of random guys with chainsaws; they're a very professional, organized operation that are very experienced, and the experience shows.

They took time to prevent damage to the yards, including only driving skid steer loaders straight when possible (turning a skid steer on turf rips grass out), and they protected the ground from heavy, falling logs.

The lawns and roadways were cleaned of debris thorougly.

There were some light tracks visible in the yards from equipment, but that's to be expected. The equipment was light, and the effects were minimal. This is not a knock on Richey's at all; but just to let others know what to expect. This would happen with any tree service.

Before getting an estimate from Richey's, I talked to two other companies. Richey's was half the price on my house, and less than half on my mother-in-law's house. I didn't even let them know there were other bids they were competing against; the initial price was a fair, no-haggle price.

So, not only did they do an absolutely superb job, their price was extremely reasonable.

I'm a detail-oriented and picky person and cannot think of a single complaint with these guys. People say "you get what you pay for", but these guys prove that adage isn't always accurate; it's certainly not the case with them.

I will use these guys again for any work I need done, and highly recommend them.

We called Richey Tree Service.when we lost a large limb & we needed the tree cut back from over the house. This was a difficult job involving a large tree and a steep hill that was barely accessible. They had the right equipment and were very professional. Efficient work and quick..leaving the yard clean & neat. We would call them again.

My mother's neighbor hired this tree service to remove multiple trees and stump grind a few stumps. Rather than accessing the stumps the the yard of the owner who hired them they accessed them through my mother's yard running a track stump grinder over an area of freshly sowed turf that had just been restored due to a double french drain installation. Not only did they compact the area on top of the drain and destroy the new turf they dropped heavy limbs into her yard without roping them down, leaving deep impressions that now have to be filled with topsoil and re-seeded. I am an Account Manager with a prominent large landscaping firm in the Cincinnati area and taking equipment no matter the size onto someones property or utilizing their property in anyway without permission is not something that professionals do. When professionals do utilize a property not owned by the owner contracting them they make sure to prevent as much damage as possible and repair damages that cannot be avoided. In this case all damages could have been avoided as they had no verbal or written consent to be on her property nor did they make an attempt to knock on the door to ask permission. Not only did they never return to make repairs, all attempts to reach them have failed and multiple calls have never been returned. This is the most ridiculous operation I have seen and I would not trust them to contract them for work. Do yourself a favor and hire real professionals that take safety and property damage seriously, such as Gregory Forrest Lester, Mt. Airy Tree, and Back Tree Service. This complaint will also be filed with the BBB.

Brad was very professional and friendly. He worked with me to set up an appointment surrounding construction going on in my neighborhood. I had a 25 ft Ash tree. They cut it down(including stump) and cleaned up everything in less than an hour. The price is also reasonable. I would definitely recommend them.

I received a return call for an estimate promptly. The written estimate was provided on the spot! The crew came out within a couple of days and did a fantastic job! They were safe in their procedures, worked together as a team and cleaned up everything! I am very pleased and would highly recommend

We have hired Richie tree service multiple times for different properties that we own. They are professional, reliable, show up when they say they will, and clean up the site wonderfully once they are done. They have trimmed some of our trees so that they are able to keep them away from areas needed for multiple years. They have also removed entire trees in some pretty precarious spaces. Highly recommend

This is my second time using Richey Tree Service. I called and left a message for a free estimate. I received a call back within 1-2 hours, and an onsite estimate was completed two days later. I was given a written estimate (plus county tax) of everything that was included; tree removal, root/stump grinding, clean-up, and haul away. I was told there was a lead time of two weeks, and the weather was also a determining factor for an appointment date. Two days later we scheduled an appointment for the following week. A six man team with equipment/trucks arrived on time and immediately started working. They provided ongoing cleaned-up, and was very conscious of not dropping any of the tree parts on the neighbor’s new concrete driveway and not cutting their invisible fence wires. It was very interesting to watch the tree removal process. A lot goes into cutting a tree down. I was very satisfied with this tree removal experience, and I highly recommend Richey Tree Service. Payment was completed by check. Don’t forget to tip the workers because they are hard workers!!! Thanks Richey Tree Service for another job well done!

We received a referral for Richey and were happy to get a reasonable quote for grinding two tree stumps. We scheduled the service, but then over two weeks later when we respectfully inquired about when the work would be done, we were told to find another company because they stopped offering stump grinding as a separate service two years ago. That information would be necessary to have up front, before getting a quote.

Provided phenomenal service. Removed four very large trees and did some pruning on others. Came with a very professional crew and fully prepared with the right equipment to manage the 65+ foot trees on our property. Provided full proof of insurance without requesting. Clean up was immaculate, surrounding landscaping didn’t look disturbed at all! Incredibly competitive pricing. Would highly recommend and would rehire in the future.

I called Richey Tree Service and another local company as we needed two ash trees and an evergreen removed from our front yard. Both companies had good Google reviews. Paul from Richey Tree Service promptly came out the same day and provided an estimate and answered any questions I had about the work. The other company came out but the estimate was much higher and they used high pressure sales techniques/which was a real turn off.

We went with Paul and we are so glad we did. The trees were removed a few days later and all we can say is WOW. We own multiple rental properties out of town and have had trees removed before and can say this was the highest quality work we have seen at a very affordable price and it all happened very quickly!

We will be using them over and over and highly recommend!

We had six trees near our home that needed to come down. I contacted four businesses and each had something to recommend them. One was very professional and buttoned up, one was relatively inexpensive, one was quick to call me back, one was aware of my concerns for safety of my home and my neighbors' home and had a plan. Only one service offered a combination of all of these: Richey. They were responsive, professional, efficient, and when the day came, they descended like a gang of angry beavers and got the job done quickly. Strongly recommended.

Richie's Tree Service are Professional, Courteous, & On-Time with 30 years experience. I've used them quite a few times to remove trees around my house. They prepare the lawn around the trees so they don't tear it up. When they finished they cleaned up all the debris and grinded the stump down four or five inches in the ground. They are fully licensed and insured, and all work is performed by experts.
It's hard to find a company today that has all these qualities.
