I have used this firm several times. The work they do is professional, and as much as I can tell, done correctly. My issue is that you can not trust their estimates, and they sorely lack communication skills. I left messages and texted Matt, and never got a response. This last job we contracted with them exceeded the estimate by $1300!!! There was NO warning or communication addressing the extent of the overage. To add insult to injury, the job is still not completed. They have been back four times to address a problem and it still isn't corrected. Buyer beware!

Jason Hoffman came out to my sister in law’s house was there for three hours. He claims he couldn’t find the problem, he gave her an estimate for $3000. First I found to bad breakers, second I found that someone had disconnected two ground wires in outlets. The third and most obvious problem was a bad neutral wire. Not only were we able to repair the problems but we only spent about $200. I would never use Jason or Ed Green Electric ever again and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Ghosted me. I called and got scheduled for someone to come give me an estimate about updating my electric panel box they came and looked at it and I was told "we will call you Friday with a price" I get a call a few hours later from someone wanting to confirm all the work I want done and then was told again "I'll call by the end of the week with a price" Well the end of the week has now come and a months later and I have not heard from them again. Disappointing since I had such high hopes because of many other good reviews and how professional they were on the phone. Turns out all they did was waste my time and theirs. So sad that I wasn't important enough for even a call back.

Extremely friendly and so helpful!!!! We didn’t know this at the time but we had an outlet basically explode it was behind a dresser and we forgot it was even there, and that next morning there was no power in two rooms, when I first called patty answered and was extremely friendly and actually gave me a few options of things we could try before they came out and we tried them but they didn’t work so I called back and once again she was extremely friendly and said she would get someone here asap, just like 30 minutes later a man (Erin) showed up and he got everything fixed for us and he was very friendly (even working around our cats and 3 year old) and extremely nice and very professional too and even gave us some advice on other electrical things around our house. If I ever need any work done again they will definitely be who I call, I recommend them to anyone!!

My mom and dad have been looking for a company to get them set up for a whole home generator for a while everyone they spoke with did not help them the way they needed, from the moment I called spoke with Aaron I knew I found the right people for the job, Aaron informed me he would take care of them and he went above and beyond got them set completely up explained everything to them did an outstanding job !! Aaron and Jason both worked hard got the job done , the care they showed to a elderly woman was amazing, I will definitely let everyone I know about your company!!!! Very thankful for you !!! I called a place closest to me, but never received a call back. Did a google search that landed me here to the next closest. I called and talked to a man and told him the issues I was having. He suggested what it could be and told me someone would give me a call to set up an appointment. A little while later a man named Aaron called to schedule. I talked to him about what was going on as well. He asked if I had contacted the power company. Confused, I said no since I have power. He explained that some issues are handled by the power company and said I should call them first. I called SCP and they sent someone out. Sure enough the power company were the ones to fix the issue, not an electrician. Aaron saved me tons of money and I didn’t have to waste them sending someone out to just tell me the power company was responsible. Anytime I need any electrical work this will be my go to! Thank you again Aaron! You’ll be recommended to anyone I know.

During the thaw from winter storm Landon and all the rain the creek behind our house had overflow and our service pole bit the dust. Called 8 am and they were there installing a new pole by 1:30pm (after they built it and brought it in), they installed a new box, new conduit, new ground wires, the pole looks great!

The VP Aaron was who handled my phone call and spent all afternoon with his tech installing the pole explaining every step of the way. Extremely professional and friendly. Was actually recommended to us by an AEP worker.

Came in a few hundred dollars under the estimate (expect to pay $2300+ for a whole new pole and install) but we had power by dinner time.

Just had my home generator installed and can not be happier. Aaron and his guys were great to work with. Showed up when scheduled and explained everything each step of the way. Most important is there will be there after the install. I would highly recommend them.

We had Aaron (my apologies if this is misspelled) out yesterday to help us fix an outdoor main breaker because we lost power to the whole house. When we called he was upfront about cost and procedure, and proceeded to remain in contact with me, letting me know if he was going to be later than expected or on time. He was very helpful and thorough, and got the job done fast. He was very kind and understanding with it being the Sunday of a holiday weekend. We would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

After years of frequent power outages we decided to buy a Generac. Had a few estimates done but when Aaron came out I knew this was the right business. There were some bumps along the way, but stuff happens. Aaron was in constant communication about next steps. Every person involved in the installation of our generator were very knowledgeable and friendly. Can’t thank you all enough for the hard work! Can’t put a price on peace of mind!

I called Aaron with a generator issue that I was having. He was very helpful and after much discussion we decided that he needed to send someone out. His technician was prompt and resolved the issue on the spot. He also recognized that the valves needed adjusting and did so while he was there. The invoice was more than reasonable for the amount of help and guidance that they provided.

In March, after a couple of years of contemplating whether to purchase a whole house generator my wife called Aaron from Ed Green Electric in Logan, Ohio to discuss this possibility. Aaron came to our house to survey the situation and explain in detail the process of buying a generator, where to place it, where to tie in to our LP line, and what size generator we would need for our home. Within 2-3 weeks the generator arrived along with the two man installation team that was every bit as professional and knowledgeable as Aaron on electrical work and Generac installation. The coordination process with the Electric Company, LP Gas Company, and Aaron went beautifully. Aaron wanted all parties on the same page. That afternoon the job was completed and by late afternoon Aaron was there to take me through steps and explained how things worked on the generator. The job was neat, clean, and professionally completed. We have now had to use our generator twice and during the transfer of power the lights never blinked and I never left my chair. Owner come out and gave me an estimate on my job I had and said he'd do the work but he never came back to do it. He didn't even bother to contact me. Would never call him again for anything.

Mag Electric installed a great high efficiency propane furnace for a reasonable price.
They arrived on time and did fantastic job, would definitely recommend them.

We had Mag Electric come and run Electric for a hot tub at a Cabin Rental. They did come out within a reasonable amount of time but the tech that came out left trash all over my yard and anywhere he worked. I found countless cigarette butts throughout the yard, and it looks like he toke a long break on one of our decks from the amount of cigarette butts he left there.
The owners response to this was basically owell.
Not impressed.

Mag Electric was great! I called in the morning with my issue and a technician was at my house early afternoon. He worked until he was able to fix the problem. I highly recommend Mag Electric for any electrical work that you may have.

I can’t say enough good about this company. The owner did an absolute amazing job on replacing my panel. He was very informative and kept good communication with me during the entire process. He even took extra care to cause little damage to my drywall when he had to replace the panel. Above and beyond really stood out during this work. I would highly recommend using this company!
