The price was fair. Jonathan Scott, the owner is respectful and polite. Jonathan not only quoted the price but pointed out problems with other trees and explained how the solve the problems to save the trees. In doing so, I am seriously considering Prairie Creek for landscaping work I need done. He and his crew showed up and finished the work as he predicted.

I used Prairie Creek on June 7, 2016 to remove a very large tree branch that fell on my house. They came out gave me an estimate and removed the tree from my house the same day. They were very professional, friendly, skilled at tree trimming. I would recommend their services and would not hesitate to have them back for additional work in the future.

I just used Prairie Creek. Jonathon and his crew did a wonderful job! Jonathon was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had storm damage and he helped insure that my insurance pay a fair price. He showed up when he said he would and did amazing work! I would definitely use Prairie Creek again and highly recommend them!

From the free estimate to the completion of tree removal, tree trimming, and clean up I have to give this company a Superior rating. They are polite, all workers friendly, hard working, knowledgeable, and efficient.

I'm from out of town and wanted to purchase a cord of seasoned hardwood for family in Grove City. I submitted a request for information through Jonathan's website and he called me back first thing the next morning. He took the time to help me understand the types of firewood available and to make sure I wasn't purchasing too much for my family's needs, which I really appreciated. Jonathan was available to deliver the wood the same day (!). On delivery, my family commented on how well-split the firewood was and what "nice guys" Jonathan and his crew were. I will definitely do business with Prairie Creek Tree and Landscape in the future. Great customer experience!

Jonathan and his crew did an outstanding job removing three large trees, one of which was leaning precariously over my garage. With their specialized equipment and expertise the trees were safely cut down, wood suitable for firewood neatly stacked for drying and all remaining brush removed. I could not have been more pleased with the entire experience.

I initially hired Prairie Creek to remove one small tree from my property that was growing very close to power lines. Even though it was to be a small job Johnathan treated me with the respect of a more substantial client.
when they arrived they quickly removed the tree, I asked Johnathan if he could remove a larger tree that was decaying in my front yard. He gave me a quote and the tree was down in and hour. Things were going so well I asked him to remove a line of trees for my neighbor. He gave me a quote and the trees were down in minutes. At this point my entire front yard was covered in the remains of almost a half dozen trees. 30 minutes later a large truck with a boom arrived and scooped up half of my yard in minutes. The truck was full and it was late afternoon on a Friday. The crew could have called it quits for the weekend . But instead they found a nearby place to offload there truck and returned to finish the job. Absolutely outstanding!! My personal thanks to Johnathan and the Prairie Creek team. Your the best!!

Prairie Tree Service came out today to remove 3 trees from our yard. Very reliable, respectful and reasonable. Not only was the job done to our expectations but the cleanup was awesome. They even left firewood for us as we asked and cut it up for us. They came to the door when finished to make sure it was done to our satisfaction. I would definitely hire them again if the need arises. Keep up the good work.

I just had a very large tree removed that was very close to the house. The team came in and they were very professional. They worked well as a team and took their time to do it safely and right. I cannot say enough good things about the job they did. If you want the job done right at a great price these are the people to contact.

My wife and I needed some trees trimmed and 2 dead trees removed. Jonathan from Prairie Creek was prompt at getting us an accurate quote and performed the service in a timely fashion. The guys did a good job at removing the trees and cleaned up everyday after performing the work. I would recommend them for both big and small jobs, you will not be disappointed.

I had to have a tree removed from my front yard. I had a price quote from another service and Jonathan was able to ensure I got the lowest price. Although I will give five stars, the experience wasn't completely flawless. They came and cut the tree down perfectly but when the clean up crew came to remove the debris, the truck actually had a malfunction which caused them not to be able to remove everything immediately. The reason I would say Jonathan deserves five stars is because he and all of his staff remained very professional. The truck malfunction was something that could not be foreseen but Jonathan gave me all options to be comfortable, keep his service to me as his top priority and came out immediately once his truck was fixed. Lastly, they all also ensured that I did NOT pay until i was completely satisfied with the service. Great company, Great service! Highly recommend!

Jonathon (owner) and his crew did a fabulous job removing a dead, double trunk ash tree and a dying pin oak from opposite sides of my property in Grove City. They had to deal with really confined space, multiple power lines, other trees, fencing and several buildings. I also had special requests for what wood I wanted to keep, how it was to be cut and where it was to be stacked. They HAPPILY accommodated me and didn't add excessive charges.

They started the job early afternoon and, 6 hours later, had almost finished with clean up when they had to quit because their vehicles where full and darkness would arrive soon. They promised to be back in the morning to finish and they did just that, in the freezing rain! I have a little turf divot repair work to do when the weather gets warmer, which is no big deal to me. As you can imagine, massive trunks and limbs can potentially create a few dimples when they hit the ground. They used the appropriate equipment for every situation and came well prepared to do the job. They quoted a fair price and I didn't have to pay one penny "up front" either. I think we all know how rare that is! We settled up, as agreed upon, when the work was done.

My experience with Prairie Creek Tree and Landscape was outstanding and I highly recommend them!! Jonathon and his crew were a pleasure to work with; likeable, friendly and knowledgeable. They even gave me free advice on how to save an ailing blue spruce. I will definitely use them again!

Worked with Jonathan on the removal of four trees and the construction of some fencing.He went above and beyond for us. He scheduled work promptly. His guys were effiecient and GOOD! So happy with our decision to use them. We highly recommend!

Had some much needed work done today, Jonathon and 2 other young men came out took out 3 trees, cleaned and trimmed 2 bush beds, mulched and cleaned the area like no one had ever been, excellent work ethic, so refreshing. They work safely and efficiently, and respect your property. Great group, will refer these guys highly to everyone needing tree/land scape service.

I learned there is a difference between companies that trim trees to make a living and companies who are knowledgeable Arborists.
Jonathon is an arborist and his main goal is plant health. I had two trees I wanted trimmed and shaped. Jonathon gave me an education on the the risks of tree health if he trimmed them in the heat of summer. Instead of taking my money and potentially killing my trees, Prairie Creek did a maintenance trim to get branches off our roof.
I will be calling back in the fall to complete the job. Jonathon and crew are very knowledgeable, professional and reasonably priced!

Good Afternoon -

I wanted to drop you a note around the estimate I received today. To say the least, I am very underwhelmed.

Your estimate came in at around 40$ a square foot. In fact, that is a low compared to the other estimates we have been getting. So, 39,000$.

The interesting part is that not one thing that could impact the cost was discussed. As an example - Here in central Ohio, every person who does hardscapes gets their bricks and such from Oberfields. The price per square for can very significantly from bricks to stone to natural stone. Not one question around what type of stone do you want to use. Not one question around wall caps - again - can very significantly in price.

Secondly, you would need to do some demo here. Remove some old pavers. However, that demo was part of the quote too. All totaled up.

If I go to Home Depot and buy carpet and have it installed and the old carpet pulled up, I get an estimate showing what I spent on the carpet, how much removal is and how much install is. Not Here, the cost is 39,000$. Regardless of the tear down\take out, type of stone choose and amount of hours to do the work, it is 39,000$. While I understand that you are booked out to August, and that is great as it April now, if you don't want to do an estimate and take the potential client seriously, tell people your all booked up. Not one question on the design, stone to be used, what we envisioned - nothing.

No need to follow up here regarding the work. The work, along with the money, will go somewhere else.
