Shane came out to evaluate our chimney and said we really didn't need a cleaning just yet. He also went above and beyond and showed us some concerns he had for a roof that could be a potential problem down the road and they are not even in that business. Shane was very honest and all about being fair to the customer which is unlike most companies these days. Chimney Care will be our new provider since I can trust them. Shane was also a great pleasure to work with.

The office is good at reminding of appointment in advance. Shane called 20 minutes before arriving and did a great job on cleaning and fixing my gas fireplace. He was able to find the part, even though the fireplace is no longer made, and got it working! Also very neat and cleaned up everything when finished. Would highly recommend this Chimney Care Company!!

We replaced our wood burning fireplace with an elegant insert from the Chimney Care Co. Could not have turned out better! I especially appreciated the friendly and down-to-earth way their team worked with us at every stage. Love the ease of use and feature-rich options. Recommend

I like everything about this company. My call to the office to set up an appointment to have my chimneys cleaned and inspected was friendly, professional and they were able to get me on the schedule in one week. They followed up with an email reminder and the tech called me the morning of my appointment to let me know he'd be there in 20 minutes as I'd requested.
Clark was my tech and he was very friendly, easy to talk to and very organized. He put down drop cloths at the beginning and left the house looking like he hadn't even been there. I had several questions for Clark when he was done and he was able to answer most of them and promised to get back to me on a couple of special requests I had.
Chimney Care Co checks all the boxes to be one of my go to contractors.

We’ve used Chimney Care for years for our real estate business and our own homes. They recently installed a new gas fireplace for us and did so beautifully and perfectly. Shane even adapted the fireplace trim to accommodate a granite surround, making it look just right. They know fireplaces and chimneys so well.

Shane was very professional, and was able to troubleshoot and repair my Hearthstone 8532 gas stove to full functionality. I would highly recommend Chimney Care and Shane to service and repair any gas stove. Great Experience!

We have used the Chimney Care company for many years, now.
Jesse has been our technician for the past 2 visits and he does a great job. He lays out the drop cloths for the floor protection and goes about his business.
I had some questions about brick cracks and the door gasket and Jesse addressed these before he started his process. I had a question about the pipe at the roof and he asked to see the manual to research the question.
His inspection and cleaning went fine. The equipment was clean and the area around the fireplace was immaculate. From the outside, there was no evidence that the wood stove had been cleaned. Only after you opened the door did you see it clean.
I appreciate the digital invoices, too.
The office personnel are always very friendly when scheduling the appointments and I received a follow-up call the day prior.

What an amazing experience! First, we popped in when they were actually closed, rather than turn us away, they went ahead and set up our appointment to have a clean and inspection. When the day came, we got a call precisely within the window they said it would be, and exactly 20-25 minutes later, Jesse showed up at our door ready to work. Our floors were covered, and even though we definitely slowed him down with a million questions, he always answered them, and made us feel we were getting extra special treatment. Our chimney was especially dirty, but he went the extra mile to clean it multiple times without complaint. There were obvious repairs needed, due to our own mistake of using improper replacement parts, as well as age and use. We were not chastised, but informed, and given reasonable estimates for repairs, should we choose to have them done in the future. We have had many companies out over the years of home ownership for various services, this one stood out as one of the best. Thank you, and we will be return customers for sure!

Caige did a thorough job of inspection & cleaning. We have a fireplace wood stove insert. He is very professional. He is welcome back anytime.

Shane has encyclopedic knowledge of gas fireplaces and was able to cross reference part numbers for the pilot light. An hour later the unit was running and performing well. Great job completed at a very fair price. Thanks for warming us up!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
I originally reviewed this co for the chimney cleaning they performed. However, they were scheduled to replace the cracked tiles in the fireplace & install a heat protector under the mantle. THEY NO CALLED NO SHOWED! I reached out after the original appointment time window passed & asked what happened. They told me they forgot to let us know the manufacturer no longer carries the tile we have. 😑. I could have told them the manufacturer no longer carried the tile. It’s the reason we went with them over the original installers🤦🏼‍♀️ They said they get aftermarket products, so no big deal. Then, I tried to get them to find anything remotely similar to the tile just so we can get it fixed…nothing. Just ignored me. As a business owner, I’m truly appalled. At any point they could have fixed but instead, chose to continue the horrible customer service. How they handled the situation tells me:

1. After having a month and a half to order the product for our project (and after already receiving our deposit) they waited until the LAST MINUTES to prepare and order material.
2. They didn’t care or bother to let us know they were not coming; not a day before, not even the day of, but they had no problem keeping our deposit and saying NOTHING.
3. Even after we paid someone to wait at the house to let them in, and then having over 1.5 months to order the product and didn’t. Then they dropped the ball AGAIN when asked to find tile that was remotely similar (which would have been the 1st thing I would have done the moment I discovered the original tile was no longer available). Having the common decency to call and tell us the issue, but already having a solution would have been the appropriate thingy to do.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY for anything other than cleaning. They have poor customer communication, lack of respect for customer’s time, and poor follow through.

This is the second time I’ve written to thank Chimney Care for its staff and attention. Brandi and Sara are role models for how to make people feel respected and welcome.
Christian Bellamy, with whom I’m working right now, is knowledgeable, approachable, and pleasant to work with. He shows up on time, gets back to me when he says he will, researches ideas, and prepared a detailed estimate. And with me—he’s patient! I’m starting from knowing nothing about mantels, gas inserts, vendors, and measurements, but you’d never know it from his presentation.
I’m looking forward to seeing my project come to life under his guidance, and I’m sure I’ll be writing again! Thank you Christian, Brandi, and Sara!

Shane checked and cleaned our electric fireplace today and did an excellent job. This is the best this glass has looked in many years. The service was provided in the time frame given to us and done very efficiently with no additional charges to the original estimate. Will definitely use him next year.

Initially, Shane met with us to help select the optimal log set for our fireplace and for the features we wanted. The subsequent installation, also by Shane, went fine. Shane was thorough and the installation went very quickly. We are very pleased with our new log set and pleased with the Chimney Care Company service.

Absolutely outstanding. Scheduling my appointment was easy, and the scheduling staff was extremely friendly and professional. Caige, my technician, showed up right on time, and did a very thorough job. He cleaned and inspected my fireplace, and was very careful about laying down tarps to keep my floor and carpet clean. He answered all my questions, and was a total professional. Very considerate, friendly, and helpful. An A+ experience all the way.

Shane performed the inspection of our gas fireplace and did an excellent job explaining the current condition and making some minor adjustments. He was also able to give us an idea of any future upgrades we may consider. Because I’m 80 years old and a veteran he was able to extend a bit of a discount. I would recommend Chimney Care

I have used this company for several years and have always had a good experience. However, the technician who came today seemed unsure of what he was doing, was looking at his phone most of the time he was here, had the vacuum running even when he was outside or on his phone, and he left a fine layer of soot all across my white mantle, which has never happened before. May need more training.

We used Chimney Care for a Level 1 chimney inspection and were very impressed! Our inspector, Christian, was knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his work. We appreciated his attention to detail with well documented observations and recommendations for us to consider. Highly recommend!

Shane came out and inspected our fireplaces, both wood burning and propane. He was brutally honest which was greatly appreciated. The most important thing to me is safety when I use them. Although we need repair and replacement, as the builder did not install our wood burning stove correctly, the honesty provided us is invaluable. He certainly knew what he was doing.
