The mulch is great quality, and it was the best value in Medina. They got it to me quickly and the driver was incredibly friendly and helpful. We chatted for a bit and he shared some info with me about how to best keep the mulch looking it’s best.

Brandon & his crew were here bright & early, and finished our yard by 2:00 in the afternoon…as promised. Brandon made sure that anything I wanted cleared out was cleared out & made a point to check with us to be sure they’d gotten everything we wanted done. The place looked great when they finished the job. My husband and I are completely satisfied with their work. I intend to have them back for fall cleanup, too!

Lamphear's was great to work with! They were flexible with our rock deliveries thru the ups and downs of our project. Drivers were careful and friendly. Their material prices were very competitive. All around a great experience and will work with them again gladly.

We love Lamphear's!! Our development used to have a different landscaping company that was horrible. We dealt with them for years and thankfully the new board got rid of them. They went for bids and we were able to get Lamphear's. The crew is so nice and very respectful of the homeowners. The grass looks the best it has had in years! Everyone I have talked to has been pleased with the service!! Highly recommended!

The worse lawn care service out there! Sloppy job, don’t weed wack evenly if at all.Uneven grass cut, trim is atrocious. Blow grass onto patios and into air conditioning. They actually put their cigarette butts into my raised gardens. If I could give “0” stars I would. I would not recommend them. I’ve given them multiple chances to make it right and they have not!

Been using lamphear's for a few years and always a great experience. Had mulch delivered same day the order was placed.Top quality mulch. Will never use bags of mulch from stores again after seeing the quality difference.

We used Lamphear’s to order a large quantity of topsoil for our yard. They were able to deliver same day and on time! I’d highly recommend Lamphear’s for landscaping supply.

Frustrated in the recent planting of grass at our house, a new build on barberton. After religiously watering you can see numbers of areas with poor growth and those areas are incredibly rocking/poorly prepared for the seeding as evidenced by photos. Was looking forward to using this company in the future but now second guessing that decision.

The efficiency of the work was amazing. They came onsite got the job done and cleaned up left. I wanted to thank them for their work, however before I could they were packed up and gone. I will definitely be using this company again next season.

Had multiple trees installed at my new home. Two of the trees are completely dead in less than 2 months. Have called multiple times and have not heard back. Would not recommend using this company.

Shoddy work and lazy crew. A month ago they spread out fill dirt on a property behind me and a portion of my property, then let it sit and some rocks washed out into my property. They finally came to finish the job, and left a ton of rocks, including any that were 2 inches away from them in the grass, and left the stream of rocks that came from their previous work. I watched 3 people tag team a pile of rocks literally about the size of my foot for an HOUR, raking it around, then putting one scoop in a wheel barrow, putting the wheel barrow away across the street, then returning to push around the same pile again, then going BACK for the wheel barrow to take another scoop away, they did this maybe 3 times. It took 3 people 1 hour to get that pile of rocks off of my property, and these photos show what it looked like after they finally finished that small task. I eventually went over and asked for the rake to do it myself and they insisted they’d fix it themselves .We’ll see.

We have a new build in Kenyon Creek in Massillon and we ALL have the worst yards I have ever seen! You could give my 8 year old the equipment and he could do a better job! There’s rocks everywhere (and they are HUGE), the grass doesn’t grow, the front plants were planted into the mulch and not even the ground so they all died. The grass seed is pure weeds. There was no top soil even laid down! I work from home and watched them it all it! We followed the watering instructions exactly how we were told for months. Even had tripods and timers. You can’t water rocks! You should be ashamed by the job you have done back in this neighborhood. Now I have to hire a different company to completely undo the mess you made, and re do it. This is $10,000 - $15,000!

Please drive back in Kenyon Creek in Massillon and see for yourself! I’ll even give you a nice rock tour of my back “yard”.

I even called the office and complained about the shrubs not being planted in our yard and I was laughed at and told “no way”.

STAY FAR AWAY! I will update if they fix it, but I doubt they will!

I’ve been a customer of Lamphears for years and I’ve always been very pleased with their work. The crews are easy to work with and Dominic does great design work. This year they installed a Mediterranean style garden around our pool and it’s growing in beautifully. The few times I’ve had issues they’ve been very responsive.

We had used Lamphears for years along with others in our neighborhood for pest and weed control and misc yard work. Unfortunately we noticed such a decline in service over the past few years but felt loyalty with this company because of our length of time being customers. We had a good working relationship with Shane & never had any issues over the years but when he left there was a shift in quality of work, we still had a few things to get done so we continued with Lamphears & hoped it would be fine The jobs we needed addressed had to be redone multiple times with still no satisfaction. The last job which is pictured below was redone more than 2x and as you can see still is horrible. We believe they just put straw down and never any seed, there is way too much dirt for “birds” to have eaten the seed which is what they told me happened. Now realize this is after addressing this twice last year with dirt, seed & straw and the pictures shown just a week ago. They had to redo a swale between our house & neighbors and that took more than two times also and still no grass has grown there either. I had informed them last summer as how it was looking even after the 2nd seeding & again in the fall and again just a couple weeks ago,which now have been told they only honor 30 day warranty. Beyond over a thousand dollars we paid to them and we have dirt. The rudeness from the office to the managers is terrible & is even obvious in the replies to comments here on the review page. Sad to see such a good company from years ago be who they are today. Would love to have a refund so we can hire someone to do a job worthy of being paid for. If I could give a negative star I would have. Use this company if you want to pay a lot and have to have jobs done repeatedly with not being complete.

Not impressed at all with this company. New build in Barberton and I feel like we all got bare minimum. Our lawn is patchy and was poorly installed. We diligently watered and tried to get it looking good but only so much can be done when it’s poor work to begin with. Our trees they planted looked half dead from day 1. We paid thousands of dollars for a new lawn and landscaping and I feel like we were completely ripped off.

UPDATE!! On 7/26 I spoke with a project manager who told me that a bad batch of trees was planted and that ours were supposed to be replaced. I thanked him and awaited our new trees to be planted. It’s now SEPTEMBER 28th and no sign of Lamphears and our new trees. I called to get an update and the lady that answers the phones told me “unfortunately there’s nothing they can do”. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE along with terrible work. Beyond frustrated!!!!
