I wanted to give a few shout-outs to our amazing team of professionals at Wimberg Landacaping. Our landscaping maintenance team (Nury, Bacardi, and Francisco) did an amazing job at our property today! They worked long and hard to get everything back into shape and the yard looks beautiful now!

In addition, our lawn mower (David) does a great job each week at keeping the grass looking great and our water/lighting specialist (Scott) works hard to ensure that our in-ground irrigation and exterior lighting is operational at all times! Thanks Wimberg!

Wimberg Landscaping is a family run, multiyear Consumer Choice Award winner for Landscape contracting. Their customer service and quality of work separate them from any business in their industry in the greater Cincinnati area. I would highly recommend working with them for any project.

We couldn’t be happier with our new landscaping. Kevin designed a beautiful low maintenance pollinator garden to replace the grass on our steep hard to mow backyard, and a new flower bed beside our front walk. The installation was fast and professional. Amanda and crew were hard working, diligent and willing to answer questions about the new plants. Everyone from Wimberg was responsive and friendly and the end result exceeded all our expectations.

They are friendly and professional and they do a great job. They provided a free detailed bid/estimate, and worked with us to make the job right. There was a pretty substantial wait before they could begin the project due to other scheduled jobs, but they were upfront with their timeline, and they were able to begin pretty close to when they had said, and once started, they worked very fast. I would wholeheartedly recommend Wimberg Landscaping for large or small projects, and I will certainly call them first for my next project!

We had a patio and fire pit installed in the back corner of our yard, and it looks fantastic. The crew was professional, timely, and clearly knew what they were doing. They finished the job in 4 days, which was much faster than I was expecting, but this was not at all due to rushed or sloppy work. I also found the company to be much more communicative and available for questions than other landscapers I’ve worked with in the past. Highly recommend.

Top notch snow plowing service….and they are great communicators! Highly recommend!

Wimberg has done a wonderful job for us so far this year. They started mowing in March. The crew does things like bring our paper to the porch, close the gates before they leave and a sprinkler is put back after it had to be moved for them to mow.
They are though when they mow, trim and blow. The office staff communicates via email with any concerns and helpful advice. Wimberg comes highly recommended!

Their crew did a great job, as usual. They were friendly and did everything as we expected. Wimberg is one of the few who get it ……. good customer service is the best advertisement. We tell everyone we know who are looking for landscape services about Wimberg.

Our experience with Wimberg Landscaping has been remarkable. They are hard working, professional, and kind. The crew leader that takes care of our yard is Nathen W. He is always personable and goes the extra mile to make sure that our yard is well kept. We especially appreciate how well he communicates each and every task that is performed. I would highly recommend Wimberg Landscaping to anyone who needs grass cutting, lawncare, landscaping, or yard maintenance services.

Excellent professionalism and communication. Their snow cleanup makes things so much easier for me!

Mowing crew is awesome. Extremely thorough and they make sure the grass does not blow all over our patio. Trimming is great. We have been very happy with our service from Wimberg and this crew. Great job.

I hired Wimberg Landscaping for a hardscaping project in a roughly 20x20 backyard fenced in patio. It turned into a several month nightmare for a variety of reasons. The owner is very defensive of negative reviews on social media, and has employees rating their own company (Julia), so I will be comprehensive and professional. I feel fine posting all this, because I told it to my sales person/project manager, the ops manager, and in the early stage the CEO himself along the way. I was never offered any compensation for issues.

The process started with prompt feedback and a digital rendering of my proposed project. While this is nice, note that it means virtually nothing as the color and material types that were ultimately installed were completely different. When challenged, I was told to look under an unrelated section of the contract that it was there prerogative to change materials.

The first task was to remove a tree. I was told a certain date on which they did not show up. Eventually a crew did without warning where they cut the tree down, but left the stump and broke several parts of my fence. Over the course of three weeks, I was repeatedly unanswered asking about when the stump would removed until I escalated to the CEO. Eventually, they came back multiple days in a row with a broken machine to slowly remove. Fast forward to this month, I find a huge piece of unmovable root left in the ground that was hidden by materials and landscaping until now.

Work eventually begins on my patio to where more of my fence is broken. I come home to find the section we have been removing repeatedly had fallen, and my garage broken into with a bike and power tool stolen. I contact Wimberg to ask what will happen about the damage to my fence, and am told they can quote me to build a new one which is incredibly offensive considering they caused the damage. I’m eventually told it will be mended which leads to a patch-worked mess.

Work continues about half-way; colors don’t match our discussion, but I foolishly thought they were placeholders. We must stop halfway as I found unrelated damage to my foundation from water damage. When we resumed later in the year (not Wimberg’s problem), the company’s lack of professional attention to my project highlighted itself. They “finished” one section hilariously off kilter, picture attached, where they attempted to shave stones directly in front of the door to wedge in their inability to work out straight lines and making it clear my project is a low priority. I had to call this out, picture attached.

After I make a fuss and review further quality issues, the rest of the level hardscape and stairs are “finished.” I’m repeatedly asked if the project is complete instead of being told they could stand behind the project, I continued to find quality problems that were simple to observe such as chipped blocks, unsecured blocks, and a general inconsistency in quality across the project with the filler sand unevenly applied and a general lack of sharpness to the measurements. Stair edges are up to 3” misaligned and again stones were chiseled just to fit when it’s against a flush surface. Installed plants and didn’t get the ones I asked for/was quoted on one side.

Told job is complete. Walking in, I push against my fence to check if it's secured, and miss by a millimeter impaling my hand on an exposed rusty screw. Get tetanus shot updated.

Overall, I chalk up many problems to a lack of attention to detail on some staff, and having a sales person as the project manager. I shouldn’t have to rely on a person presumably on commission for new clients for operations problems, I started skipping this person entirely and going to the scheduler/ops manager. I could tell the company was fed up with me, as I was repeatedly told Accounting was bugging them for me to pay despite the project not being complete.

A star added for some flexibility and accountability from ops manager, but never felt the company overall wanted to make this look like a top-quality product. Expecting to need fixes soon.

This is my second time to use Wimbergs landscaping services for my home. Both times have been a very easy process to get my home looking amazing for the changing seasons. See you in the fall.

Joke of a landscaping company! So many better options and they are so over ridiculously priced and if you miss one payment, they will cut you off even by one day The sad part is the grass cutting crew is solid, but the management is poor

Total professionals and thorough in every detail. They even go the extra mile to communicate with owner to double check all the work and even a little extra if that needs doing. A+++++++

If I could give less than one star, I would. As a business, they chose to turn the other way instead of right a wrong.

Here are the facts: my car was parked alongside the grass that was mowed by the Wimberg team. My car was intact prior to arriving at my mother’s - a little before 9am. She lives on a side street in Hyde Park, so not a high traffic area at all. It was a Wednesday morning. The Wimberg mowing team arrived shortly after I got to my mother’s to mow the front lawn - both by the street and the house. After the team left, my car window was shattered with a scratch along the side of my car. As shown, something was dragged along my car to create the scratch across my side car. This was the side right next to the lawn that was mowed.

I asked the Wimberg team to do the right thing. I understand accidents happen, but I was refused. I filed a police report as well. The police noted this did not seem like a random break in as nothing was taken from the inside. Just hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else getting serviced by them.

As a company, you have the choice to do the right thing even when no one is watching. That’s how an ethical business should be run.

The beds in front of our home looked like a scene from Chernobyl. Barren. Hostile. Seemingly unable to sustain life, condemning my attempts at planting to a quick death.

The first step in recovery is to admit you have a problem. I needed help. Professional help.

Our project wasn’t large, which was reflected in the response to my inquiries. Seeing a landscaper actually show up was as rare as spotting a Yeti in the Great American Northwest. One company employed the “psychic” business model – (dis)qualifying me via a reading she conducted that was cleverly disguised as a phone call, using Google Satellite as their crystal ball.

Thankfully, before all hope was lost, I contacted Wimberg Landscaping.

Wimberg is exactly the firm I needed. Kevin visited to photograph, measure, and discuss what I was envisioning. Given the existing state of the landscape, it was obvious I didn’t know how to get there. He listened and created a design that exceeded my expectations.

They were outstanding throughout the entire process. The crew was fantastic. (Amanda was especially - excuse me - badass. I wish I had even 1/10 of her strength and stamina.)

Afterward, Wimberg provided verbal and written instructions about how to care for our new landscaping, and they are available to assist with any post-installation questions or concerns.

This is extremely valuable, given my horticulture ignorance as evidenced by my previous attempts.

At a time when customer service is more of an oxymoron than a reality, I am even more impressed and thankful to have chosen Wimberg.

Wimberg recently helped us with our hillside backyard. All staffers were professional, pleasant and the work they did exceeded all my expectations. I will hire them again.

I recommend Wimberg Landscaping strongly and unreservedly. They have provided various services to me; landscaping projects, lawn-cutting, spring clean-up and periodic maintenance. The work is always done professionally and to a very high standard. My neighbors comment frequently on the beautiful appearance of our yard and I am positive their work has increased the value of our home. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and committed to customer service. They truly deserve the many awards they have won.

We used Wimberg for our total backyard renovation and they exceeded our expectations. Throughout the entire process (from landscape design to completed project), they were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and highly responsive to all of our questions. We appreciated the constant communication as there were unforeseen delays. We highly recommend them for any landscaping service. We also use them for our ongoing yearly maintenance. Thank you Wimberg!!!

Just the most caring, trustworthy, hard-working, and passionate people in the business! So knowledgeable in their field and take pride in caring for our Cincinnati ecosystem. I have had members of their team support me with consults and the execution of projects in my own yard and in pollinator gardens at the school where I teach. They have taken the time to educate my students about the industry and create beautiful spaces to be enjoyed by all!
