Reviews of local pros in Milford, Ohio

Awesome people to work with. Planted 27 trees for me, perfectly spaced and no mess left behind. Highly recommend..

John and his team are awesome. Their quality, value, and quality of work are top notch. They planted 13 trees in our yard last year, and they’re doing great.

I have used Little Miami Landscaping for the removal of a rather large tree that was in a difficult place to get to with a bucket truck (other companies I called wouldn't take the job because of this). A friend recommended that I call LML, which I did and right away they came out to see the tree and give me a quote.

John said it would not be as difficult as we thought and gave me a very affordable estimate. Kyle climbed the tree and took it out piece by piece, without the use of a bucket truck, and without damaging the buildings or fencing around it. He and his crew did an awesome job! Not only did they completely remove the tree, stump and all, but they cleaned up the mess left behind. They were very courteous and professional.

Because I had such a great experience with them, I have also used them to plant several new trees around my property. I am greatly satisfied with their service and I will never use anyone else in the future. If you are looking for affordable estimates, quality work, and great customer service, I highly recommend John, Kyle and the crew at Little Miami Landscaping!

Last fall we decided, on a whim, to buy some trees for our backyard to provide some privacy. We stopped in at Little Miami Nursery and I am so glad that we did ! They are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met, they are knowledgeable and extremely patient. I can’t say enough about how fantastic they are!

Super kind and helpful! Love the atmosphere and guidance. Friendly bunch who exemplify the “spirit of Milfordites”

3/29/2025: Just ordered more trees from Little Miami Nursery did a great job and was patient with me and placing the trees where I wanted them. Thanks you!

We have used Little Miami Landscaping on several occasions and could not be more pleased with their product, service and attention to detail. Our once bare side yard is now beautiful. We will certainly use them in the future. Great job, great service.

Purchased a tree at a great price with installation. When the crew attempted to plant it, it was discovered the prior tree service didn't get all of the stump out. They returned a couple hours later with a grinder and finished the job.

This was a great experience from the time we first arrived here to the installation. Prices are great and all of their shrubs and trees are healthy. This will be our go to Nursery from now on and I highly recommend them for your landscape needs.

Little Miami Nursery newly relocated to State Route 131 just past Miami Meadows. If you’re driving east, they are about a quarter mile down the road on the left across from the pony keg. My mom bought six giant green thujas and two hydrangeas. We purchased nine flowering perennials for around our patio. Little Miami has a unique variety of perennials appropriate for this planting zone. The owner‘s brother and crew arrived at my mom‘s house on time and had the plantings in within an hour. All of our plants are doing well. We’ve spotted some hummingbirds around my patio last night. This appears to be a family run business. John is the owner. Lindsay will most likely greet you and help you select the right plants and sizes. If you want to spruce up your yard and add some shade and character, please give them a visit. Everything is quality, and the prices for the plants, delivery, and planting are difficult to beat anywhere else

A great arborist and very trustworthy. Fantastic work and work ethic. Very refreshing!!!!

Did a fantastic job for a great price. Would highly recommend

Kind, awesome people!! Do great work, always go above and beyond. Generous! Thank you for giving me a place to exist and relax throughout life’s stressors. Work still in progress, but you can see the before and the after!

Jason does a job above and beyond what is quoted. A great service for any tree care.

They did a great job, knowledge of tree anatomy, good timing and removal of trash

I wish I could give this company more than five stars. Jason and Ashley were awesome on all metrics- communication, reasonable price, over the top service, punctual, trustworthy, friendly. Jason is my new tree guy. I have used other tree companies before finding Jason. All were somewhere between ok and subpar and usually overpriced. Jason, no doubt, would tell me that the tree he took down wasnt difficult. But it was a big sucker that threatened not only my buildings but also my neighbors. Jason's technical skills are impressive as is his attention to detail. Frankly, he did way more than than I expected - trimming, cleanup etc. I am sure my neighbor is very happy as well- and it doesnt hurt that Ashley and Jason are super nice. I highly recommend this company.

Today was the second time we have used Davey Tree at our home, even though they do quite a lot of tree work for our community. They are 5 star plus! Always courteous, efficient, professional, safe with tree climbing and using equipment, always cleaning up afterwards. Today they took down a dead river birch very close to our home, probably 35 feet tall, did a beautiful job. They trimmed back an intrusive tree out front and took dead wood out of another tree. The price was competitive and fair. We highly recommend Davey Tree of Cincinnati and will use them again when the need arises. Thank you guys!

Incredible job! Davey Tree was able to remove stumps from our very small fenced lot after many other companies had told us no. The entire process and communication from the estimate to the finished product could not have been more professional or a better experience. Highly recommend!

Had a branch from an oak tree come down an they came gave me a competitive bid along with their insurance information. They came and removed my brand and took down the rest of the decade tree

Thomas Weidner a licensed arborist, came out to review our lot and determined what we needed. We knew one tree had to be removed due to bug infestation damage but when Tom got out of his truck, he pointed out the damage to another tree with the same issue.
All of our trees were 45 to 50 years old and very large.
We had two trees removed and three others trimmed that were getting close to our home.

The three men who performed the cutting, trimming and chipper work were very professional, friendly and after the cleanup work you wouldn’t know they had been here.
The same applied to the man who performed the stump grinding a few days later.

When I called the office, I was always able to speak to a live person – not an answering machine. I was very pleased with such great customer service – would highly recommend them and will definitely use Davey Tree again.

Hiring a contractor is always nerve-wracking for me as I don't have any frames of reference to gauge their quality, reliability or honesty. Jackson at Davey Tree immediately put me at ease, by explaining what he was seeing and teaching me what to look for. In fact, he told me my concerns were unfounded and left without a sale... until I called him back several months later. This time I did want work done and he took excellent care of me. The quote was well below another opportunistic one I received and the guys who did the work were respectful and very competent. Jackson and Davey Tree are my people now and I recommend them without reservation.

Been having Davey Tree out for a few years now (Davey Tree was recommended by my Garden Center where I purchase my trees, bushes and mulch). Josh (Sales Arborist) has always been there for me to give direction for trees/plants in the yard. Can always count on Josh to give honest/straight forward insight. I now have an annual fertilizing plan for bushes and tress. Does make a difference! Had Chaze, Patrick & Dillon out today to trim Bradford Pear, Cable Lrg. maple and take lower canopy off 3 maples in backyard. They arrived on time, worked with me to address the items and left the yard as they found it. All debris cleaned up. Have had Frank out for magnesium injections with the same attention to detail. My guess is other neighbors have the same results as I see Davey Tree in the neighbor from time to time. Thank you Davey Tree!

3 Words describe Davey Tree and their Employees: Professional, Knowledgeable and Honest. In 2022 they trimmed 3 Magnolia trees in a very tight location. Did a great job with perfect clean up. The same year I asked them to trim 2 large sugar maples. Joe S. told me only one needed to be trimmed. Again, great clean up. In 2023 Joe looked at a Magnolia that I thought was dead. He said it would come back and didn't need to be replaced. He was right! It is leafing out. Great company! Great people!
