Reviews of local pros in Mogadore, Ohio

Derek and crew were phenomenal. They were quick and very professional. every branch and twig were cleaned up. Will definitely call GP Tree again. Super job guys! Thank you so much.

Derek and his team just completed a morning of tree work at my home. Everyone on the crew was very professional and their expertise was evident in their attention to detail. The climber was a cross between an acrobat, a trapeze artist and Spiderman as he trimmed the deadwood from 3 trees - including a large oak and an old apple tree with storm damage. The ground crew worked to help with his ropes and clear the branches as they came down, The bucket operator was very careful in removing the oak branches which were over my roof. They cleared all the debris. It was a pleasure working with them and I look forward to having them back for additional tree removal. I did a lot of research and received multiple estimates... definitely made the right choice and feel I got more than I paid for...Thank you GP Tree service!

Very disappointed. Scheduled removal of a dead tree in our back yard. Let me start by saying they did what we asked and the tree was successfully removed.

When the workers showed up the first time, they could not perform the work because the truck they had wouldn't work in our driveway. Admittedly, it's a tight space. They have another truck, but it was committed so they said someone would call us to reschedule.

A month had gone by with no word from them. I phoned and left a message asking when they might be coming again. No response. Finally, we decided to look at other options.

The workers showed up today unannounced to do the work. I fortunately work from home so was able to let them proceed, but I was annoyed that no one called to confirm.

Before they started, I pointed out two peony plants and another plant that were in front of the tree that I did not want damaged. I was told that "we won't be dropping anything on them" and was essentially assured there would be no problem. After they were gone and I looked, both peony plants were destroyed.

Again, disappointed in the lack of communication, coordination, and care. I will certainly pay them for the work they did but would not recommend nor would I hire them again.

Had 3 trees cut down right at the property line. Extremely fast work with all 3 and the cleanup in both yards was beyond what I was expecting. Great professional work and very polite. I couldn't be happier with the work. Having them back for another tree next month.

A huge tree fell on my house and took out my power. GP Tree Service worked so hard and at odd times of the day just to accommodate me. When they found out I didn't have power, they sent a crew out at 6pm with a crane to get the tree off my house and clear things so the power company could then do their job. I never asked them to even hurry. They just did what was right.
I can't say enough good things about this company. I will definitely recommend them to anyone!

I would give them 10 stars if I could. Had a giant limb fall ( neighbors tree) split and fall on my fence. They couldn't have responded faster. Super professional and very thorough. I can't say enough good things.

Gary and his crew are always a pleasure to work with! Reasonable prices, professional manners, and ALWAYS a cut above the rest when the job is done. Wayne, the crane operator and his crew of men got here at about 8am and had two large red oak, an old log that had been in my back yard and a smaller oak tree out down and out of here in 2.5 hours! Amazing job guys!

I received a free quote from a personable, friendly professional about my neighbor's trees hanging over my house. The inspection was quick and pleasant due to the great customer service.

Great job!! GP Tree sent out all the crew and equipment needed to get our job done quickly and efficiently. Their prices were very reasonable, the crew was friendly, the clean-up was thorough - we will DEFINITELY use them again!

Great company, great response times, fair prices and such nice people! I had three medium trees in the back yard that needed to be removed. GP Tree came out when they said they would and quickly and efficiently completed the job. They were careful to not rip up my back yard and cleaned up everything after the job was finished. I would highly recommend them!

GP Tree Service came out and removed a 75 foot tall multi trunk maple tree in my side yard that was 3 feet from my patio and less than 10 feet from my house, and multiple branches going over top of the house.

GP was quick, professional and safe with all their work to remove this tree, grind the stump and grind another existing stump. Great service, professional office and crew, and to top it all off, a great price for the amount of work done. They showed up around 8:30 and were completely cleaned up and gone by noon, and back the next day to grind the stumps. I cannot recommend them enough!

Very professional, quick, reliable, great work and friendly. I had trees needed cut down in my backyard and also trimmed. Plus they had to come back in the fall to trim an oak tree. I have a lot of trees in my yard and will definitely use GP tree in the future and recommend.

Great company to do business with. Used them for the third time but this time for a large job to remove 8 trees from behind our home. They a nice job and take pride in their work and clean up really good when they are done. They even used mating to protect our yard. I will definitely use them again.

They were a very experienced and were well organized crew. They came and were very efficient with removing the wind damaged trees and limbs. Cleaned up after their work. Will call them again in the future and highly recommend them.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND GP Tree Service! Quick response and fast cleanup! Friendly and personable staff responded to all our questions and needs. We are so appreciative! They did this in about five hours between two days!

The guys showed up right on time and cut down two huge trees in my yard. I was amazed at how fast and efficient their team worked. The next day the guy came to grind the stumps and the next day, everything was cleaned up like I had never had trees in my yard. I highly recommend them if you need excellent work done at a great price!

GP Tree Service ROCKS!!!! I’ve said it before and I don’t mind saying it again! I’ve used these guys before and they’re the only tree service I’ll continue to call! Today they cleared out the downed tree from the storm a few weeks ago. They had the tree down and everything cleaned up in 3 hours! They’re fast, clean, reliable, and professional! I highly recommend them for your tree removal needs!

After a call to GP tree with a request for an estimate ,an appointment was made for a date and time for the estimate to be done, they were right on time. The estimate to remove, haul away all materials and grind stumps was the best price of 4 total estimates.l accepted the bid, soon a date and time for work to be done was set. Crews arrived right on time, excellent equipment was positioned by a professional crew and work began. 4 1/2 hours later 7 trees some large overhanging our house, some behind our house were removed, chipped and wood loaded to be hauled away. No damage at all to property. Friendly, polite and very professional crew. Clean up was flawless. Stumps were ground later exactly as planned. Great service at a great price. Thank you to Gary and his crew both in the field and office.

I had two large hemlock bushes removed from my backyard. One was done last September because it was weak and had damage to the main trunk. This month I had to have the second one removed because it was damaged from the recent wind storms. GP was quick to respond to my request since the remainder of the bush was possibly going to fall and it possibly could hit my house. They did an awesome job and were very professional.

GP Tree Service trimmed our 60-year-old red oak to ensure insurance policy compliance. The entire service experience was prompt, thorough, and polite. In addition to the great work on the tree, I appreciate how easy it was to connect with real people instead of endless automated chat bots. This level of service is increasingly rare these days. We are grateful to the entire team. Thank you!

This company I truly wish I could give them 10 stars. They are so professional from the beginning to end was on time gave me a quote and did a temporary patch to stop anymore damage free of charge even if they did the work or not.. 7 or 8 roofers came not one did that
