Tree reviews in Mogadore, Ohio

I would never recommend this company. I contracted with them in September and was told it would be 3-4 weeks.NOTHING, not even a phone call. I called the week before Thanksgiving to inquire since it was well past their timeline. The owner, Gary, called me back and told me he would be here the week after Thanksgiving (all while referring to me as "honey"). It's now December 15th - the tree is still here and I haven't gotten another call and it's 3 months past when I contracted with them. Bad business - if they didn't want my small job, they should have just said so. Very unhappy.

Very professional and reasonably priced. Our tree was very close to our house and power lines,I had no concerns about how they we cutting down our tree. I will definitely call them again if I need another tree removed.

these guys were great . took out 2 trees in very tight space and electric wires running beside the huge tree one was very tall other one hanging over neighbors house . on time got right to it excellent machine operators, great finesse guys are pros no doubt . i certainly will recommend them and will be calling again when ready to have a couple more removed

We had a very large tree removed from our backyard, it was surrounded by a shed, privacy fence and a pool. There was not much room at all but they were able to do it all in one day with very little cleanup. They also came back another day to remove some large roots that became visible. We highly recommend!

I have used GP Tree for several of my homes and projects. We are general contractors and we prefer GPT because of their professionalism, promptness, impressive clean-up after a tree removal, and full service including stump grinding. It is not easy finding reliable tree experts and this is the best we have found in the Summit / Portage / Stark County areas. Call GP Tree!

Very happy with GP Tree. They trimmed many limbs from a very large tree for me in over in West Akron. It was very affordable (less than I expected and better than any of the other quotes we got). The team was very professional and cleaned up everything when they were done. Great job GP Tree!

GP Tree did an amazing job with trimming my trees and cleaning up. Showed up on time, cleaned up all the limbs, bark, etc. they also made sure they did not go in the grass.

They got it in before all the crazy wind storms.

Very knowledgeable and honest!

Thank you!

This will be the third time in 23 years I've hired GP tree, The first time was for the removal of 9 (some very large) trees the following times have been for trimming. The crews have always been respectful of the property and prompt. I don't even think about calling anyone else.

Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
They were easy to work with and did a REMARKABLE JOB CLEANING UP!!! the area where our large tree branches were removed. They showed up on time, returned my calls quickly, and were reasonably priced. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! OUT STANDING JOB!!!

Very professional and friendly crew! I highly recommend these guys!

Awesome company, great communication, fast service, excellent work and after the job is completed it’s like they were never there! Can’t say enough great things about this company. I highly recommend for anybody needing tree work done!

GP Tree did an awesome job cleaning up our oak trees and removing several stumps this year. The guys are so nice and cleaned everything up quickly!

GP Tree Service was out with an estimate pronto! Then they showed up to fell the tree asap! Fast service, great crew, fantastic clean up! I highly recommend GP Tree Service for all of your tree needs. Will have them back out to finish the rest of the trees we will need down. Thank you guys! You rocked!!

GP Tree has done 3 separate jobs for me. Each one more laborious than the last. The first job as trimming out the top of one tree. The last job, they were here pretty much all day. They cleared all scrub trees from an area that was 175’ by 60’. They did an amazing job each time. Upon completion, you would never know that they were here. That was very important to me.
The day I called GP I had called several other companies and GP was the ONLY one that even called me back. That alone spoke volumes to me. They were quite backed up with local storm damage and it took about a month to actually get to me but since my job had no urgency I waited. Very glad I did!

I have ALWAYS used GP tree for trimmings and tree removal for almost 20 years. They are fair, honest, insured and the best tree service I have used. My extended family has used GP for years as well. There is no comparison. Hands down, the best.... highly recommended!

They were easy to work with and did a remarkable job cleaning up the area where our large trees and brush were removed. They showed up on time, returned my calls quickly, and were reasonably priced. I highly recommend them!

Had 2 large maples removed. Close to house. limited access. They put down matting and managed to get that bucket truck behind my house...very touchy maneuver...with no damage to house or yard. Removed the maples with crane, chipped, stumped, removed grindings. then gave a haircut to overhanging limbs over my roof. Very friendly crew. In at 8..gone by 11 Wayne was the boss and he was great. Cleaned up the debris and you can hardly tell they were here. would recommend highly. John

I couldn’t say thank you enough to GP Tree Service. My crane guy went M.I.A which put me in a bad situation. I called GP for help & the came through immediately for me & did a great job. Great communication & service.

Just had a tree removed from my property and this company did a great job! The tree was in a difficult location, however, they had it taken down quickly without any issues. The price was very reasonable and the crew cleaned up to the point you couldn't even tell they had been there. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have tree work done on their property.

I was referred to GP Tree Service by my insurance company after a storm 6-17-24 left many downed tree limbs on and around our home. Derrick and his crew did an excellent job and I will definitely use them for any future tree service needs.

These guys did a great job for me. They have the right equipment for removing huge trees! Cleanup was excellent and they were very careful, there was minimal damage to my yard in spite of the wet conditions. I will be using their services again as I have more tree work to be done.
