Reviews of local pros in Montville, Ohio

Great team! Very professional and very clean. Joshua was able to answer all my questions and concerns.

Showed up on time and got the job done fast. Good clean up afterwards. Good group of guys, would definitely recommend

We have been using Hometown Tree Service for about 5 years now. He is my "go to" tree service on our property.

Cleared out some underbrush and trimmed up a row of Norwegian spruce trees. From estimate to job completion they were responsive and got the job done quickly. Would call them again!

Absolutely the best! Called and they got back me to me quickly with help for my driveway plowing needs! Best customer service and very polite. Would highly recommend!

I’ve used them twice and I would highly recommend Hometown. . Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and professional. They were prompt and did a great job. I swear they left my yard cleaner than before I had the work done.

Josh and the crew were efficient, effective and pleasant. They have the knowledge and equipment to do the job properly. I will definitely hire them again!

Hometown was there for us when we discovered that some tree limbs were leaning heavily on the electrical wires leading to our home. They fit us into their very busy schedule within 24 hours, thus averting a possible/ probable disaster. Thanks, Hometown!

These guys are great. I live in Cleveland and storm took out major Maple trees in my back yard. They were at my front door the day after I called Erie Ins. and were removing and cleaning up debris right away. Great job will use them again.

After being "ghosted" by two previous tree companies Joshua was a pleasure to work with. Quick response to provide a quote and was there to complete the agreed tasks within a week. The way you should operate your business! I thought the cleanup could have been a tad more thorough, but I have no real comparison. Maybe this is the norm in this business?

This was 3rd company I called, got quick and honest reply. 2 trees were removed within the week, professionally and as discussed. Clean up was amazing! Nice guys, very happy and would recommend any day! Thank you Josh snd Jessica and their team.

If you want tree experts who really know what they're doing, look no further than Hometown Lawn & Tree. These guys are outstanding and really delivered an extraordinary experience. They were ontime, removed a huge cigar tree and a rotting maple tree, ground both stumps, and trimmed back another huge tree to the property line. They used extreme care to preserve the health of the trimmed trees.

They really deserve 10 out of 10 stars, and I'd recommend them over and over again!

Joshua, the owner is a complete gentleman. Spent time going over the details of the job at hand. Professional service from beginning to end. Completed the work in a timely manner. Would highly recommend his company and will call on them again for future work.
Thank you for Serving our Country Joshua. It was nice meeting you. Keep up the good work that you and your team provides.

Josh and crew removed a very large Tulip Poplar tree that had become a hazard. Upon stopping in to look at the job he was able to work us in very quickly. Everyone did a wonderful job - from professionalism, promptness, and completeness. Really couldn't ask for a better experience.

Josh is a breath of fresh air. Competent, honest, and “does what he says” kind of a person. The crew worked hard to prune my trees and left the yard spotless. I wish they provided other services, like construction! I would hire the company in a second if it is run by good people like Josh and his crew.

Hometown Lawn and tree service did an excellent job. They were professional and did high quality of work. When they were done the yard looked like they were never there. Their workers took special care of the yard and other plants and trees in the yard. I would highly recommend them!

Lack of communication was bad. And guy was very rude when he showed up talking to a 14 year old very nasty. Threating to put a lien on house and take to court for the money when he didn’t even do the work I don’t recommend them at all I know if I ever need service done I won’t be dealing with them at all. Best bet is to go elsewhere where guy isn’t so rude and to top that off he asked a relative to help that he would pay him 200 to help out of what I would have payed him

Thank you very much Josh and team. You went above and beyond our expectations. They were like a well oiled machine. Took down a very dangerous tree and cleaned up like it was their own yard. You guys are TEN stars to us!!!! Respectful, careful, honest working people. HIGHLY recommended!!!!!!! Thank you again.

Josh and crew did a great job. Very responsive, quick, and knowledgeable. I feel the cost was more than fair. I would definitely recommend them

This company is amazing Josh was really professional and nice I highly recommend them to anyone who needs Tree and lawn services done!
They provide all relevant information liability insurance, workman's compensation, and a professional estimate in writing before the job is even started.
They cut down a huge tree for me with power lines all around and were so careful to not do any damage.

There are so many tree services to pick from however we lucked out by choosing Hometown Lawn and Tree Service. Even though they were extremely busy they were able to come the next day and help us remove our fallen tree. They were very fair on their quote and were much lower than other services. They were efficient and very personable. They did an amazing job cleaning up. I would recommend this Team to anyone :)
