The crew did a fantastic job clearing ivy off our very large locust tree. I didn’t expect them to be able to clear nearly all of it off but they did. They also trimmed branches that were too close to the roof. Given the amount of ivy I thought they finished the job very quickly. They also arrived as scheduled and took care to protect the house and surrounding plants, which I very much appreciated. I highly recommend Independent Tree Service. Many thanks!!

I had Independent Tree remove 4 large trees and trimmed 3 additional trees. The work was done quickly, efficiently and without a single issue. Clean-up all debris from their work!

We had a large white oak uproot and threaten our home. They responded on the day of the uprooting with an assessment, advice and an appointment. On the day of the work they came on time and fully prepared. They safely brought the tree down with zero damage to property. The team was professional and efficient. In my mind there is no other option.

Had a tree come down and damage the roof during a storm. Within three hours of my calling them, Independent had already gone to the house and provided an estimate. They removed the tree the next morning, covered the damaged parts of the roof, and photographed everything to make it easier to deal with the insurance company. They could not have been more responsive and professional. I cannot recommend them enough.

Alan and his team were great doing business with. Completed all work as agreed to and for a fair price. The crews were all polite and professional, communicated well throughout the whole project. Alan is extremely knowledgeable, it’s great working with someone who appreciates trees. We have used Independent Tree for years to maintain all the trees on our property. Love Alan Kraus and all his crew. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional. And super-friendly too! And when they're done working, they clean up so well you can't tell they were ever there. Great company! Recommend them highly.

We had Independent Tree out to our prior home to take care of several trees, including the cabling of three large branches in one Silver Maple we wanted to save. We had called them because they were a small, local, family company and had certified arborists on staff. They did an excellent job, cleaned up and were professional and personable throughout. Then we moved and had planted a tree in memory of a loved one, and wanted it tended by someone knowledgeable. So, of course, because of our prior positive experience, we called Independent Tree again. And again, although it took awhile to get on the schedule because we had just one tree; they came, they evaluated and explained what they were going to do and they took care of our very important tree! We will call them in the future for our tree needs!
