Ripley Tree Service was very helpful in returning our phone calls, promptly, and letting us know when they were coming to the home. However, we were very dissatisfied and disappointed with the state of the work left behind in our backyard. When speaking with the company prior to the service, we were told they would clean up the area the best they could, so that we could take care of the left over logs and branches left on the ground. However, the workers left very oversized branches and logs that weren’t cut down enough for us to handle on our own, along with logs left scattered all over the yard. When we asked them to come back and finish the job, after showing them a pictures of the work, they wouldn't return our calls and eventually refused and said it wasn't in the contract, even though it was spoken about on the phone. Unfortunately, for the price we paid, we were left with a massive pile of oversized tree branches and logs, which we needed to continue to break down with chainsaws and clean up on our own. We felt very comfortable using this company from the great reviews we have read and from a family/friend recommendation...so we are sad to see these results.
