The man who mowed the lawn did an excellent job. My lawn never looked better! Lack of communication can be an issue every once in a while.

I recently hired city mowing this year to service my yard weekly and I couldn’t be happier with the job they have done. They are consistently on schedule no matter what and the pricing provided for the work done has been incredibly fair and reasonable. I highly reccomend City Mowing for any residential or commercial needs.

We were in need of a one time service due to a broken mower. City mowing answered the phone later in the day and came out the next day and did a great job!

Just bought my first home, and found City Mowing from word of mouth to cut my
grass and redo some of the plants around my home in the flowerbeds. Glad I went with him. Very polite, on time, nice truck and trailer that won’t leak oil in my driveway. Very Professional. Would definitely recommend.

I have used City Mowing for all of my landscaping needs for years. Dave always delivers the highest quality mulch, in a timely, professional manner and he keeps his equipment and tools in impeccable condition. He has an incredible work ethic, is trustworthy, honest, and fair.

On Monday 11/8/2021, I called City Mowing for a one time mow before winter. I was told to text my address and they would get me a quote. In the text he says they will measure the turf and get a me a quote. Attached are the texts. On Thursday 11/11/2021, he was in my driveway (proof by house cameras) when he texted me that it would be $100 with no trimming. I worked late on Thursday so got home in the dark. When I woke up Friday morning, I noticed only half of my back yard was mowed (picture attached, it was only mowed to the shed). I called City Mowing in the morning and no answer. I sent a text as you can see. And no response. I asked for a call back at 4:30pm and did receive a call from Dave. I explained the situation and that only half of my back yard was mowed and it needed to be done correctly. Dave was very rude and unprofessional and stated that because “the grass was so high and he had limited time, they could only do what was done”. Dave stated that he would come back this Thursday and finish the back for $75 more dollars. CITY MOWING STOLE MY MONEY. They were at my property when they sent me the quote and measured the turf prior. Attached are my property lines. You can see the property goes way past the shed. City Mowing is not making this right. When they gave me the quote - they saw how tall the grass was. Dave said “you should not have assumed the whole yard would have been mowed”. I never thought when asking for a one time mowing job - half of it would have been done. I never even received a phone call to tell me that they couldn’t/didn’t finish the entire yard. CITY MOWING IS THE WORST BUSINESS IVE EVER WORKED WITH. DO NOT TRUST THEM! WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS!

Awesome all the way around! Shows up when he says he will, does a great job. Snow removal and lawn care at an affordable price.

If you’re in need of lawn service, your best bet before using city mowing is to do it yourself. If they do show up, Do not pay them first they took my money and my next-door neighbors and never returned. We are in a civil suit at the moment.

One of your employees cut me off on the highway and was driving like a maniac. It was a red car with your company name and number on the back window.

I placed a call to this company for an estimate on a retaining wall. The return phone call took 3 business days. When I scheduled the estimate for the following day, they didn’t even show. No call! Very poor service in my opinion. I recommend Andy-Graham landscape. They came out the same day as my phone call. They are as busy as anyone out there and Andy is a very nice guy! Do not go with a service that can’t even call you back or show up!!

I just had the owner come out to give me an estimate on landscaping services and my experience up to this point has been great. I was pleased that he didn't rush through the estimate; but, instead, he took the time to discuss all of my concerns and answer all of my questions. He spent way more time with me than he should have and I think that says a lot about how they run their business. They obviously care very much about their current and potential customers.

Based on my own experience and the fact that 4 out of 5 reviews (not including mine) are 5 stars, I don't see any validity whatsoever in Tim Hinchliffe's 1 star review.

Communication and service was phenomenal. My yard looks better than I imagined. Evan's crew did great work!

Evan and JT did an incredible job! From quote to completion it was nothing but a pleasant experience. As a new build, there were some challenges with what the builder had left as a "finish grade". JT and team installed a beautiful paver patio in our back yard. Our lawn (just planted) is beginning to come in. The level of detail observed by the crew has been the talk of the neighborhood. Well done gentlemen!

Sandy’s installed what at the time appeared to be a beautiful walk at my home, with steps and pavers and limestone block. However, within a year the steps were falling apart. A wall they had built was leaning over. The owner came to my house, blamed the supervisor who had overseen our project, and promised me he would work up a solution. I waited months and heard nothing. When I called I was told that he was out of the office but would return my call. That never happened. After 5 or 6 unreturned calls I started working on it myself. I had a professional come out and tell me what needed to be done to fix the project, and since then I have been slowly working through the repair on my own. It’s a lot of work. I’ve been at it over a year. The owner has never called me back. I cannot express how disappointed I am. I once had a very high opinion of this company.

Update. Within hours of posting this review Sandy was at my home, and we worked out a plan for fixing the parts of the repair I had not yet gotten to. Everything looks great now, and Sandy has promised to make sure the repairs stick. So, I’m very happy to have gotten a response, and I’m raising the review to 4. (It would be 5 except for the delay). These reviews are potent!

Sandy’s has been doing my landscaping for many years. This summer we completed a major renovation of our rear beds. We are very happy with the outcome.

After removing two large pine trees and their stumps, our bed adjacent to the back patio was left looking like an eyesore. Restoring the landscape was just too big a job for us to tackle so we contacted 3 landscape companies. We choose Sandy's. Evan met us at the house at the agreed upon date and time. He listened to our goals and after spending quality time together we felt confident in his expertise. We agreed to the plan that was expertly drawn to our specifications. Communications throughout were excellent- by phone, email or in person visits. The work crew was on time each day, were respectful and knowledgeable. The work was completed in a timely manner. We are very satisfied with the finished product and that Sandy's delivered what was promised. We feel confident in recommending Sandy's landscaping service. Thank you !
