Had the complete displeasure of working with George. George was hired to do a job back in October/ November to do a fairly simple job (if you’re good at your job). Not only did it take him 5+ MONTHS to complete, but he prides him self on being Mr. Man of his word yet for SEVERAL weeks he said he’d be there on several days and never showed up which is EXACTLY on par with several other dissatisfied reviews of George. No call. No text. Nothing. He claims that the city took forever, then drywall was in his way, then another job came up instead, etc.. he always blames everyone else instead of taking accountability like a professional and grown man would. Had he done things in a timely manner and kept up with the city none of these would’ve been an issue but a grown man can’t even show up to his own job when he says he will so why would he keep up with the city? His lack of timely work also resulted in our heat staying off which caused a pipe to burst causing significant damage. When a customer hires you to do a job George you show up when they need you to not when you feel like it or you simply pass on the bid. When he finally completed the work he filed a mechanics lien the exact same day and in fact the morning of, which is unheard of. This guy is a lunatic! So it’s fine for George to take six months to complete the job but you better pay him within 30 minutes of him sending an invoice otherwise he’s going to make threats with liens or try and blackmail you. I would never recommend George and he is not welcomed to do anymore crap work for me. He also messed up freshly painted walls that I also had to PAY for to repaint while changing an outlet.
