Reviews of local pros in Okeana, Ohio

I've used Springleaf Outdoor Services for many years and have always been very happy with the results. Justin has great ideas and is always open to new ones. He is very accommodating with last minute changes and very thorough. His work is very conscientious and he goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect before planting. He has done some spectacular projects for me (and will do many more) and his crew is always very pleasant and hard working. If you are looking for a great Landscaper Springleaf Outdoor Services is the company you want to hire. One if the best!!!

Springleaf Outdoor Services restored our badly overgrown backyard rock garden and transformed it from a thick mangle of ground cover, weeds and old plantings into a lovely, peaceful, colorful flower garden. Justin was a pleasure to work with, listened to our ideas and goal for the yard and, with his crew, made our vision come to life in just two days.
He is an experienced and knowledgeable landscape artist and I can’t recommend him highly enough. He is an excellent communicator and never left us hanging. Finally, his fee is very reasonable.

Justin and his team at Springleaf Outdoor Services are absolutely incredible. The owner Justin responds right away, specializes in 3D landscape design, and the best part of all is he actually performs the labor from start to finish! Springleaf separates themselves from other typical landscaping companies by focusing on the quality and detail of their work. It is a smaller landscaping company which allows a feasible turn around time. Justin’s crew is very professional, respectful, and they focus on exactly what the customer wants at all times. I HIGHLY recommend Springleaf Outdoor Services for any landscaping, custom landscape design, lawn care, and any other related landscaping needs. I will never use any other company ever again! Thank you Justin and the Springleaf team for always taking care of us and our needs! We will see you again in the spring!!

Justin was great to work with. He re-worked our decorative rock and landscaping out front. Turned out amazing.

Justin & Austin did a wonderful job this week with our landscaping issues. Very responsive & professional in every facet of the scope of work. Justin has extensive experience in the landscaping business & it is evident in his product knowledge & execution. I would highly recommend Springleaf Services for your design & maintenance needs.

Justin and his team a wonderful job. We moved into our new house in late November and Justin was still able to install landscaping in December. Our yard had some unique challenges (elevation and drainage). In addition, we wanted some specific plantings for certain gardens. Justin was able to offer suggestions and then show us visual renderings of the landscape designs. After some back and forth, utilizing Justin’s knowledge of what plants would grow best in different locations, we landed on a beautiful plan. Justin and his team then implemented the plan. They were punctual, hard working, and didn’t take shortcuts. We were very pleased with the size and quality of the plants Justin delivered. We highly recommend Springleaf Outdoor Services.

Justin and his crew did an awesome job. He creatively designed our tiered garden and other areas with a variety of plants and flowers. All the plants are hardy and looking great. He also came when he said he would, and cleaned up areas at the end of his work day. His price was also very reasonable…much less than we expected. We are continuing to use his service for annual clean ups.

Springleaf Outdoor Services was recommended to us by a good friend, and we are so grateful. Our yard had many problem areas, and I have zero knowledge about plants and landscaping. I asked Justin to design landscaping that required very little maintenance on our part, yet colorful and pretty to look at. He did exactly that. We liked that he was able to show us pictures of what things would look like when first planted, and also what the landscaping would look like after a few years of growth and development. Justin is extremely knowledgeable, has great ideas, and communicates very well. The few times I’ve had a question about something, I would have an answer by the end of the day, if not sooner. Justin and his crew are very hard-working and we highly, highly recommend Springleaf!

Justin and his crew to the rescue! He fit me into his schedule on short notice and did a fantastic job. My front, rear and side flower beds look amazing! It's clear that he and his crew take pride in their work and were super nice.
(All of the above accolades are so freshing and appreciated in this day and age).
If you need some Happy in your life and yard, call Springleaf Outdoor Services; you won't regret it!

I can’t praise Justin & his crew enough. They did an amazing job on my yard. Reseeding much of the yard after sewer work tore it up, removing bushes & lots of brush, plus a general cleanup- everything was done with care & expertise. They also installed a landscape wall & planting area a few years ago that I absolutely love and have gotten many compliments on. Spring leaf Outdoor Services does fabulous work and Justin is so easy to work with. Contact them- you won’t regret it!

Needed snow removal. Responded quickly and did a GREAT job. Very nice and professional. Will call in spring for some landscape work.

Justin and his team were so efficient with the landscape installation of my backyard, completing the project in a day and a half. I was so happy with the outcome as it was a complete transformation of an area that was pretty bare with weeds and no plantings. I was able to enjoy a mild December night with my new fire pit and chairs. I’m so looking forward to seeing all the beautiful wildflowers when they start blooming!

Justin and his team were a joy to work with when I needed my yard serviced. They were very polite and looked professional. They did a really awesome job and I loved the way they made my yard look. I highly recommend Justin and his team for any yard work needs!

Justin is a very nice guy. He and his crew were great! They did an excellent job and gave me and my wife the landscape we always wanted for our dream home. I cannot recommend him enough!!

I hired Michelle Anderson of Flourish Design to design my new landscaping project and she recommended Springleaf to do the installation. And for good reason – Justin and his team were excellent. Good communication throughout the process, flexible, and efficient. Plus they were out there working in hellish heat like champs. I couldn't be happier with the final look, they totally transformed my backyard space. I'm excited to watch it all mature and fill out.

Fantastic service & communication! In addition to plowing my long gravel driveway as requested, they went the extra mile by also clearing a path to my trash cans, and my pole barn. Rare when you find a business that actually cares about their customers.

Justin was awesome to work with. I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted done with my yard. He gave multiple suggestions along with quotes for each so I could make the best decision for myself. Justin went above and beyond on our yard and we couldn’t be happier. Really appreciate his communication and his work.

These days my experience has been that it is nearly impossible to get a reliable contractor of any kind to show up, return calls/emails and/or do a good job worthy of any praise. Justin was an exception and a breath of fresh air to work with. He was very responsive and always let me know he was planning to stop by to be sure it was OK first.

I hired Justin to clean out and restore my front and side gardens (remove old weed mat, subdivide and rearrange existing perennial plants, repair some plastic edging and put down fresh mulch) and to clear out and replace a weeded area in the far back yard (which included poison ivy) with grass.

When he came the first time he determined there was a major infestation of thistle that needed to be dealt with first. He came 7-8 times over the summer just to spray and kill off the thistle before ever doing any of the original work.

Finally we declared the thistle gone and Justin came with his crew and within a couple of hours had raked and tilled the weeded area in the backyard, put down fresh topsoil, seed and straw; cleared out old weed mat from the front garden, dividing the existing hostas, day lilies and lily turf plants into many smaller plants, replanted them in a very pleasing layout and put fresh mulch down in the front and side gardens. Justin and his crew were courteous and neat as they worked and they cleaned everything up before they left. All I need to do is make sure to regularly water everything for the rest of the season.

Although it took a while to get here and it’s near the end of the season now, it was worth the wait and I can see it will be very nice in the spring when it all comes up fresh again. Thanks Justin and team!
