Helpful, however they should change their ad to say they no longer sell used appliances.

The worst. Never get back to you, come and take your money for a estimate and never order parts or return calls.👎👎👎👎

Joe and his team are the go-to guys for appliance repair. They have repaired just about every appliance we've had over the last couple of decades and I have always been satisfied with the quality of their service.

Our refrigerator died and Joe was awesome. Got it fixed for us in a week, thankfully the part was able to be found. Excellent experience. Thank you!

They are out of Painesville. Nice people, courteous and know their job very well. Recommend to all. They fix it all: washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, dishwasher... you name it, they will come and take care of business. 5 star customer service too

Called to get a price to “hook up/connect” brand new washer, and was told I would need to pay $68 for them to come out and a separate price for labor. While their prices are their prices—too expensive for the service needed. I should only be charged for the labor.

Nick came to look at my dryer and had it fixed before he left! He was polite, prompt and communicative.

Nick, from Armao's, came to repair our dryer today. Although is was beyond repair, Nick was such a nice young man and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company...and will be using them as my go to repair service forever! Thank you ARMAO"S APPLIANCE SERVICE!

No one showed up for our scheduled appointment and didn't call to let us know that they weren't coming. The employee that answered the phone was rude and made excuses and even suggested that I didn't understand how work goes. He could not accommodate another appointment that would elevate my husband from leaving work early again . When I suggested costumer service , he hung up on me. Will be seeking a more reliable company .

2019 update: Interesting, I posted the below scathing review more than a year ago, and today I just received a reply today from Armao's. Another sign of the terrible customer service this appliance company offers--it takes them a year to even acknowledge that they wasted our money and our time. After I posted the below review (see heading "2018") we waited another couple weeks for Armao's to "make it right" by even keeping us informed! We received no call backs despite repeated calls and message as to if our oven would be repaired. Wwe ended up going more than 2 months without an oven because Armao's was leading us on that they would repair it. We eventually learned from doing our own research and getting a second opinion that the oven couldn't be repaired, and ended up having to get a new oven anyway. So 8 weeks of no oven, and more than $200 of a preliminary "repair" from Armaos and we ended up having to invest in an appliance that we could have invested in much earlier and saved ourself the hassle. I warn anyone who uses Armao's to wisely watch out for getting ripped off.

2018: While Joe is nice, his support staff is terrible. If you want good customer service, do not use Armao's. The person who answers his phones is unhelpful, rude, does not provide answers to basic questions, and does not give promised callbacks. Highly disappointed in their consumer relations--we have been without an oven for more than 5 weeks (during the holiday season) and during that time received no communication about what the hold-up was in ordering a replacement part, despite us proactively calling them for updates numerous times. We received curt and rude answers from the receptionist "it must be the manufacturers fault". Supremely unhelpful. Regardless of the quality of work that does get completed (which it hasn't yet for us), we will not be using them in the future due to the very poor customer service!

It's been over three weeks since I called for a repair of my washing machine. Armao was recommended by my usual repair people because of a health issue with their repair guy. I knew I needed a new knob and timer unit replacement. Armao said they would order the parts and let me know when they came in. After not hearing from them in four days, I went online, found the parts and ordered them. Within two days, I had new parts. I installed them in less than twenty minutes and my laundry was up and running. If they ever get the parts, I hope they can use them for some other service call. I won't be calling them again.

We contacted Armao's in early September for a dishwasher repair. The technician, Jerry, came out on a Friday and diagnosed the issue within a few minutes. When Jerry departed from my home, he accidentally backed into my landscaping, causing damage to the retaining wall built around my mailbox. Jerry did report the damage to my wife and due to our dog being loose she told him to just go ahead and leave. I understand that accidents happen and I was not angry that the damage occurred, however I also did not want to have to fix the damage at my expense.

The following Monday, I called and left a message detailing what had occurred and that I wished to be contacted back so arrangements could be made to correct the damages. I know businesses get busy, so I waited a couple of weeks to follow back up after not hearing back. When I called I spoke with a woman, in this case she sounded a little older. She sounded like I was bothering her and came across rude. I asked if I could speak with the owner or a manager. The woman asked what it was in regards to. I explained the situation, which by her response she was already aware of. She indicated she would have someone call me.

I did receive a call back. The call back was from the technician (Jerry) who had caused the damage. I didn't speak directly to him as I am a night shifter and he called during the day. His voice-mail indicated that he himself had already come to my house and fixed my landscaping and that he didn't know what I wanted him to do. I was left again feeling like I was creating such an inconvenience for wanting my property fixed after someone else damaged it.

I called back I response to Jerry's call the next afternoon and spoke with another woman, this one sounded much younger than the first I had spoken to. I don't recall her name, but to her credit she was friendly and courteous and at least made me feel as if my problem was important. I asked at that time if Jerry was the owner of the company because I found it odd that the owner wouldn't call me back and correct this problem. I learned Jerry was not the owner, but rather the owners name was Joe. Neither Jerry or Joe were available at that time, which is understandable.

Ultimately I finally got to speak with Jerry by telephone. Jerry, the employee and not the owner of the company . To summarize, I told Jerry that I expected a company who did retaining walls to be sent to fix my property. Jerry indicated that he disagreed and that only part of the blocks needed to be torn down and rebuilt. So Jerry was basically telling me what would be acceptable based on his standards to repair my property that be had damaged. I asked Jerry why he was calling me and why the owner did not call me. Jerry stated that this was between he and I and that the owner had nothing to do with it. I told Jerry I had called Armao's appliance company for repair, not "Jerry's company" and the charges in my bank account reflected the same. Jerry stated to me that he would come back out to complete the repair on my landscape. I had to tell him that he was not welcome to come to my home as he didn't seem to understand that I didn't want an appliance repair man fixing my retaining wall. I told Jerry that I wanted the owner to contact me. I never received any further contact from Jerry or anyone else at Armao's.

At this point. Its going to be less effort to tear down the wall and rebuild it myself rather than file an insurance claim against the company or go after them civilly. I will most definitely not be recommending them or contacting them again for repair work. I would recommend consumers to beware.

I needed my washer machine repaired and I was referred to them by one of my clients. They came out accessed what was wrong with my washer and I was charged $60 just for them to come diagnose the problem which was no issue.. Then a few days later they came and “fixed” the issue charging me $290. It wasn’t actually fixed so I had to call back and they came that day worked on it for an hour did not charge me which was nice. Only to find out that it’s still wasn’t fixed. So once again I found myself on the phone calling them to come and fix it again this time two people came and once again was not fixed but left. I wanted the door on the washer to open the opposite way so I had that done and paid $60. Once again washer was still not fixed it actually was in worse condition than before they started working on it. They came out to repair after I had paid about 4 or 5 times (I was not charged for the times they came back). Finally the last time I scheduled for them to come back again I got a phone call about three hours before their scheduled time to come and was told they were going to do some research on the problem, they were not coming. After that I decided to just go out and buy a new washing machine they never told me the problem was not fixable they just kept telling me to try less detergent, wash a load with no detergent etc etc. I put $410 into this washer machine only to throw it in the garbage and not get any of my money back. I called to let the technician know I was buying a new washer and I was never offered a refund... I would have appreciated a call back at least apologizing for the money I threw in the garbage.
