Dave was awesome! Dave trimmed the lower canopy of branches of about a 100 ft pine that were touching power (and other) lines leading to 3 homes as well as other branches that were hanging over my garage roof. What I thought might be a "small" project turned out to be quite a large clean out of old dead limbs and long, low-hanging branches -- resulting in 6 major piles of branches that filled most of my small backyard. Dave is highly experienced. He has all the right equipment and could easily and precisely move his large "cherry picker" up my driveway and work around the power lines like a skilled surgeon. Same skill with his machine that picked up the branches and moved them to his shredder. He's quick, skilled and nicely cleaned everything up. I also thought his pricing was fair for the work done. Dave's not too much of a talker, but can definitely get the job done quickly and neatly. He knows what he's doing! I'd definitely call him for work again if/when needed.

Anthony was very professional. Price was great compared to other companies. Had five trees trimmed and another cut down. They did an outstanding job and I would recommend Against The Grain tree service to anyone! I will definitely use them again in the future!!

Very affordable and professional tree service! Anthony and his team worked hard to trim 3 trees and to spray for ants to save my large maple tree! I appreciated his knowledge and expertise! Against The Grain Tree Service was amazing! They offered a free quote and walked us through the entire process. They were very efficient and easy to work with! Left our backyard looking so much cleaner and safer than before! Anthony was great at communicating and did a great job! Highly recommend!

Had some work by this company done this summer at one of my properties and I can honestly say I was extremely pleased with there work and over all performance they came thru and got more done out of the job that I expected and wat I was mostly greatful for was there kind hospitality they didn't leave a mess behind kutos to this company for there

Anthony and another man trimmed the huge oak tree in front of my house. They did a great job and cleared all the brush & logs. The tree looks awesome. This is a young local company and they will work hard to get the job done right. I would recommend them.

Vladimir Bakov said he owns Against the Grain Tree Service. He evaluated a tree trimming job. Quoted a price. Only completed 1/3 of the job. Had excuses why he couldn't finish. Then aggressively and threateningly DEMANDED to be paid the total amount quoted EVENTHOUGH he only did 1/3 of the job. Then told me, in front of his worker, that he is just starting the business and he didn't have the right equipment AND HE IS NOT LICENSED OR BONDED to do tree work.

Tony and Bryan did a great job! They were very careful not to damage any of my existing plants and did an excellent job cleaning up when they finished. They showed up promptly when they said they would and completed the job exactly as described. I would definitely use them again, and I highly recommend them for any tree service you need. A+++++
