I recently had a new furnace and air conditioner installed. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff and owner. Everything was thoroughly explained to me before a decision was made. Staff was friendly and answered my questions while they were there. I highly recommend this business.

If you’re looking for an HVAC contractor look no further. Dave morin and his team are probably the best in the area. Not only are they knowledgeable and professional when it comes to their trade but they are a class act group of guys. They show nothing but service to their customers with respect, attitude, craftsmanship, cleanliness, value and knowledge in the field, on top of that they are just good people. I had to have my A/C and furnace both replaced. Not only was Morin Services affordable but they were able to come out and provide services for myself in a very timely manner. All of the guys on the job were beyond respectful and answered any and all questions I have had. When my air conditioning unit malfunctioned and my child was battling pneumonia, I was overcome with anxiety due to the holiday and uncertainty of finding prompt assistance. With temperatures in my home reaching 85 degrees and high humidity, I contacted Morin Services and they promptly arrived within the hour. Technician Gavin identified several issues and efficiently addressed them, alleviating my concerns. I highly commend the professionalism and dedication of the Morin Services team. If I could, I would rate them with infinite stars.

David came out and explained all the aspects of either repairing an existing system or going with partial or all new, gave us the time to digest and make a decision that worked for us, even recommended a reduction in size of system. His team arrived as scheduled and completed an entire system replacement in one day. House now stays cooler than it ever has! Highly recommend this company looking for heating/cooling service.

Built an open floor plan residential post frame barn and obtained quotes for design & installation of ductwork and AC (no furnace) from several well known contractors. David was the only contractor who offered a custom design and did so at considerably less expense than the others. He also (despite my initial reservations) installed a smaller tonnage (and less expensive) AC compressor based upon his design and calculations. Even on the 90+ degree days this past month, the barn stays cool and the electric usage low. His crew also did an excellent install of a large high-end kitchen exhaust hood. Following completion of all work, David followed up by phone to inquire as to our satisfaction with the work. Having employed many contractors while working in real estate development, I can highly recommend Morin Services. Thanks David & crew!

Excellent service beyond anything I have ever experienced! Despite being unable to make a physical service call, Dave was able to troubleshoot my home air conditioning unit via cellphone! Within 20 minutes he was able to pinpoint the issue and got my system up and running just in time for this memorial weekend festivities! I received exceptional service that exceeded anything I’ve experienced before. I called Dave at 4:00 PM on New Year’s Eve — with temperatures at 29 degrees — and he arrived within 15 minutes. In less than 10 minutes, he diagnosed the problem and had my system running again.

If you want the job done right this is who you call, they are good people! The owner is up front and honest, prices are beyond fair. They have done jobs for me personally and for the company I work for. They respond quickly, and the jobs they did for me were done same day (diagnostic, full removal, and installation). I recommend them to anyone having HVAC problems, needing replacement, or building.

Long story short, he almost pressured me into doing $2,100 repair that wasn't needed and someone else came and fixed for $75.

To elaborate, our heat stopped working, fan would go on but pilot wasn't turning on. They were responsive and came out same day for diagnostic, as the tech came out, the pilot turned on just before he got here. Still had them check it out, he told me I had a bad limit switch and that it would be $450 on top of the $100 service call to repair. It was 7pm and they didn't have the part so it would be fixed next day. I did my due diligence and looked up the part and it was a $30 switch. I saw a video on how to replace and it's a 1 minute process, just two screws and two wires plug and play. So next morning I called and got over the phone estimates from two others on how much to replace this switch, gave them the model and serial number of furnace. One place was $170, the other was $225. Knowing that I call the owner before they came and asked why is it so much, after I told him I got other estimates he told me they were replacing 3 switches because they're all in a circuit and when you replace one you have to replace all of them. But his tech never said 3, he said 1. Both other places didn't mention you had to replace all 3. He gave me this long story about having to replace all 3 and wouldn't let me get a word in just trying to sell me on all 3, but I said I just want one replace. He said it was $390 for just the one that was "bad". Even though they were more expensive i told him to come out since I felt bad they found out the problem and for me to get someone who is cheaper. Once here, the owner replaced the switch, and the same problem was still happening. As we were both standing there. He instantly said it wasn't my limit switch and that it was my heating element. He swore it was that. When he went outside to get pricing on the part, having lost confidence, I looked up how much for the heating element and it was $230 for the part. I called another place and asked them to come out for a diagnostic, as the more he spoke something just didn't feel right. He came inside and told me for the heating element the part alone was $800 and another $800 for labor. I asked him what happens if it's not the heating element, he swore it was the heating element and gave me this long story on how he knew it was for sure that and he's being doing this for 30 years and he knew it was the heating element and it couldn't possibly be anything else. He presented a good case and sounded convincing but I've always been a person that's very involved in everything and the more he spoke something just didn't seem right. I was honest and told him I was having someone else give me a diagnostic, the second I told him that his tone switched and he was basically saying it was both the heating element and the limit switch he had already replaced but then he himself said it's not the limit switch, said that just 20 minutes ago. I feel that he knew I wouldn't hire them for the heating element so he wanted me to pay them for a limit switch and everything told me I didn't need my limit switch changed. I told him I want the heating element fixed first then I would like to see if it's the limit switch as well or not and he wouldn't let me do that he wanted me to agree to pay him for the limit switch now. He tried so hard to pressure me so hard into agreeing that it was the limit switch. I am 38 and I have never been pressured so hard into trying to pay for something I didn't need as I was by him. He said many times he rather not get my business and he was done with me, but then would continue talking and trying to pressure me to agree with him. I told him I was going to pay for the $100 service call, but I didn't want to do the switch. Another company came, and it turned out it was the screws in the blower were missing so it had shifted out of place. $75 fix and took 5 minutes. Heat is still working 4 days later. I am so glad I got a second opinion, it saved me $2,000
