Very disappointed in RPW Landscaping. We spent over 80k for our patio project with Rick / Steve and we had our issues throughout the project but found out at the end of the project just how petty these 2 individuals are. Rick hired Trevor to plant flowers and 3 blue spruce trees for us, 2 months after they were planted the 1st tree already started dying. I took pictures and told him that it would have to be replaced. beginning of spring, this year (2024), the middle tree also started dying. We had Davey Tree come out and look at all 3 trees they told us that they were all diseased and that they were probably planted like that. They said that they could treat the trees for the life of the trees with 2 applications to both once in the spring and once in the fall. We said no because who wants to pay $800 each year to treat these trees! I reached out to Rick and he said he didn't give us any type of warranty and that basically it was our problem. What landscaping company doesn't give you a warranty! I kept texting with him saying that it wasn't our problem that it should fall on the guy who planted the trees...not your customer. Needless to say Rick did send us a check for $350.00 (the cost for the 1 tree) but that was it. We hired Sal's landscaping to come in and remove all 3 trees and replace them with new ones at an additional cost to us of $3,800!! And Sal's is giving us a 1 year warranty for the 3 trees. A great and upstanding company!! Thank you Sal!!

Also - part 2 to this story, the concrete guy that works with Rick who did our stamped concrete named Steve (was extremely messy and we had to remove excess concrete from the house, the porch, the windows, the screens and the brick foundation) did another job for our neighbor across the street, who is by the way elderly, put in a stamped concrete patio for him, same time last year, well it started flaking and the color started turning white and my neighbor called and called and called Steve, couldn't get through to him so decided to call Rick. Well Rick tells him "that's not my problem, call Steve"!! What contractor says that??
Needless to say, Steve did not stand by his product and basically ghosted my neighbor and he needed to call out another company to come out and get his patio corrected at an additional cost to him as well.

Use this company or don't, it really is your decision, I'm just here to say.....proceed with caution because more than likely they will screw you over just like they did with me and my neighbor in Broadview Hts., Ohio.. These guys will tell you what you wanna hear but trust me, in the end you will be disappointed.

Rick and his crew did an awesome job helping us get some big shrubs and a tree removed. They were quick, professional and great to work with. I would use them again anytime I needed some landscape work done.

Had a great experience working with Rick to have an unwanted area of chain link fencing removed from my yard. He thoroughly explained areas of concern around my home and sidewalk, and provided me with how he intended to handle those spaces to prevent damage while removing the posts. He offered suggestions of how we might work together in the future to improve the general condition and appeal of my property. He's friendly and makes the process comfortable from estimate to job completion.

They redid my line for my sump pump going out to the street. I went with them after quite a few quotes because they did some of the best work for an affordable price. The entire team was very friendly, walked me along through the process and made sure I knew that nothing they were doing was unnecessary and explained why they had to do things specifically. Overall great experience and I would recommend them to anybody
