Dan and his coworkers did an incredible job. They finished the job on time and on budget. I would recommend their services.

Dan is Awesome and Organic Roots Horticulture has consistently provided great work across the board. This company is far from others in terms of deep subject knowledge and determination on the job site!

Dan and his crew did large patio job for us a few years ago and it has been amazing. The transformation was incredible. Their work was high quality, done on time and in budget. In addition to doing great work, we really appreciated Dan's artistic eye. He made some excellent design suggestions and also kept me from making some big mistakes. Highly recommend.

Dan completed a large project in our back yard this summer, which included installing a retaining wall to create a a flat playground space for our kids and redoing our patio. We found Dan via recommendation through a community forum and initially reached out to receive a quote for a smaller project to build a retaining wall to create a playground area. Once Dan came out to take a look at our space, he came up with a better plan than we had originally asked him to quote us on and came up with an idea on how to incorporate our patio as well. By utilizing Dan's design, we were able to maximize our usable space, which was one of our biggest pain points with our backyard. Our current patio/backyard layout had multiple levels and big drop-offs which made it a hazard to my parents and our kids.

Dan communicated effectively and timely throughout the whole process from designing through execution. We had a big family party coming up in July and he committed that he could finish the project in time and he made good on his word even though we added more scope along the way of additional plantings. Dan even threw in some extras for us like rehung our outdoor patio lights. Lastly, Dan is super knowledgeable on plants and we have appreciated his recommendations along the way.

Overall, we are thrilled with our new patio/firepit and playground area. The natural stone Dan recommended/we selected looks amazing and we've gotten so many compliments from family and friends. We went from not using our back yard space, to using it every week because Dan was able to come up with a design to create one cohesive space throughout.

We will definitely plan on using Dan in the future.

I love my patio! Dan had creative ideas and great materials. My patio doesn’t look like every other patio, nor are the plants what every other landscaper is putting in now. The installation was completed in a timely manner and as promised. Dan, worked with his crew much of the time. I have received many compliments, and I am extremely happy looking at it every morning when I raise the blinds!

Dan is a wonderful contractor in this business and may be the best I have ever hired in any type of work. I would 100% recommend him and this company to anyone who needs work done in the area. I will totally be contacting him again with any more needs.

My wife and I hired Daniel to redo our front walk, steps, stoop, and rear patio. In addition, he was to smooth out our front, back, and side yards and replant new grass. (The narrow side yard also had to be redone as it was destroyed by the back patio work). Although he did beautiful work on our patio, steps, and stoop, the replanting of grass was a FAILURE. The project began in August and finished before Labor Day. Earlier this year Daniel contacted me to do a Google Review--which I agreed to do (and did). However, I told him that the new grass had failed. He said no problem, he would redo it this spring. We did not hear back from him. I contacted him in early May to see when he'd be coming. No surprise, he's not coming. So, we are stuck having to have our grass redone--a project we already paid generously to have done. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DANIEL OR ORGANIC ROOTS for landscape work.

I can’t say enough good things about Dan and his team. First, Dan is the most upfront, communicative, honest contractor I’ve ever worked with. He did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it… and his work was unbelievable. Also, his design was far better than what we originally had in mind. Our patio has really become an extension of our living area, we used it everyday this summer. My husband loves the way our patio was built and the ‘water management’ and I love the look and function. Two happy patio-campers.

I was extremely happy and impressed with the work Dan Hickin and his team at Organic Roots Horticulture did in removing our old brick patio and replacing it with natural stone pavers. Dan was very professional and responsive from start to finish during the process and at a competitive price. Perhaps most impressively, for the first time in recorded history a contractor, in this case Dan Hickin, finished our project not only on time but ahead of schedule! See before and after pics!

Cannot recommend.Poor communication and discrepancy with agreements. Employee management is horrendous

I can not recommend this business, we had several issues while using it.

TS Landscaping LLC did a great job trimming edging and mulching all of my flower beds. I would definitely recommend him

Trey came out to finish the work I hired a previous contractor to do. He came over and saw that I was without a driveway and a front stoop that was torn out. Got to work right away at a very reasonable price and I couldn’t be happier. Very reliable, quality work, trustworthy. I just wish I would have hired him first!

They trimmed and re-mulched our landscaping. Best it's ever looked. Owner is a great guy and very easy to work with. Kept giving regular updates on scheduling with all the rain we had. Couldn't be happier. My wife fired me from this job forever because of their outstanding results :)

Trey has most recently completed a patio project for me and has done all of my other landscaping projects around my house. Honest, fair and always goes above and beyond on every project. Only company myself and other family members use for our landscape / hard scape needs.

My wife and I used TS Landscaping to redo our front yard landscaping. We couldn’t keep up with what we had. It was too much work. TS Landscaping designed a manageable and attractive area for us. They also removed our front walkway and created a patio walk up to our door. It looks amazing. We had neighbors and friends ask who did the work because it looked so nice. We will hire them again when needed.

These people are great. On time , professional, cordial and they did exactly what they said they would. They cleaned everything up afterwards. My yard landscaping looks better than it has in years.
