One of the best boring companies I have ever used ,excellent customer service

Experienced this company as a third party used by internet providers in our neighborhood in 2021. They ran gigantic equipment within 6 feet of my living room windows after 9 pm, left tons of trash along their work route (which I picked up after it became clear they weren't going to), and cut the lines providing our house and others with internet. Would not recommend for corporations seeking excavators.

Andrew did an excellent job!! I had a water main break and Andrew was able to put me at the top of his list. He kept me in the loop for the entire process and shared regular updates on getting the permit. When he was able to start working, he was super fast and came in under his estimate. Great guy and would totally use him again.

We used RMW for a waterline we had to replace because the homeowner wanted to save his landscaping. RMW was very professional, prompt and friendly. They finished quickly and we were able to complete our portion and move on. We would recommend this company!

Fantastic commercial construction contractor. Showed up or called when they said they would. We're upfront with areas of the project that had risks and quickly identified issues and gave recommended solutions. Navigated difficulties with my equipment suppliers, uncooperative utilities companies, and challenging property management. Went above and beyond expectations to deliver the project on time and spec with change minimal orders that were beyond their control. Place looks fantastic.

Guy kept asking me if I was legal. Like over and over. I don’t know what that had to do with the kitchen sink. But he was very adamant about seeing my id. And making sure I was “legal”. Before he would turn on the water

We’ve used CS on numerous larger commercial space buildouts & small residential jobs. Always top quality & timely. Highly recommend.

Worst general contractor, we hired them for lager commercial projects and their work is terrible. After receiving money for the project they stop answering to you call or messages. They are disorganized and sloppy. Do not hire them.

We used Contracting Solutions for the buildout of The AB Salon & The Bronzing Bar in Columbus. Couldn’t have been happier with the results & professionalism of Pat & his crew. Their work is very meticulous & the highest quality. All the of the sub contractors were very clean & stayed on track with schedules.

I used Contracting Solutions to build my coffee shop. It is a historical building and needed lots of updating. The project was completed in a timely manner, and our project manager, Sam, was extremely responsive and easy to work with! Every employee I interacted with was knowledgable/helpful as well. Even after the project, I was able to contact them with any questions and got all the help I needed. I would highly recommend Contracting Solutions!!

Please avoid this construction company at all cost. They show up to work for few hours and get little to nothing done. The management is extremely rude and deadlines keep on getting pushed back. Pat- the owner is an angry man. They’re after the big $$ but won’t get the job done professionally. All the positive reviews are probably from their own circle and not someone that they worked for. Our project cost over a million dollars and it was a terrible experience. Please avoid them.

Sam is an excellent Project Manager and he made sure all the details of the project were executed to exceed my expectations. Sam was extremely thorough from the start to the end of the project maintaining excellent communication and consistent follow-up with phone calls or emails.

Put it this way - if Contracting Solutions played an Olympic sport, they'd win the gold, silver and bronze. Honestly, I can't say enough about these guys. They were on time, super professional and even answered my uneducated questions. The outdoor kitchen that they helped to create is nothing short of epic. From surveying the location and laying the foundation, to installing the water and electricity and helping to put together the entire project from start to finish - Contracting Solutions should be called the "Contraction Avengers" because they sure acted like superheroes to me. I can't say enough about these talented people. If you have a project, big or small - get in touch with these guys. They won't do you wrong (and their super reasonable!). Just ask for Pat or Rich!

Couldn’t have asked for a better GC for our Grease Monkey Project. From start to finish they were incredibly responsive, professional, and solution-oriented. Any issue that came up was handled quickly and without drama. They stood behind their work and made sure everything was done right.
What really sets them apart is how easy they are to work with. Clear communication, no runaround, and they genuinely care about the project. By the end of it, we weren’t just client and contractor — we became friends along the way.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a team that actually shows up and delivers.

Scot Donnelly came and presented himself professionally. He did the contract and quoted the price for the job. Garth Hall showed up for the preview of how the job would be done. Then Garth and his crew showed up and did very professional work and completed the job in one day as quoted. We are very pleased with Scot and Garth’s performance in this project.

We had a complex wall repair and needed our wall rebuilt only after 63 years due to the shifting ground around our basement. The service was outstanding, especially from Charlie M., who has over a decade with the company and didn’t pressure us into signing. Chase P., Kyle F., Scott ( The Mason) and Isaiah C. (work for Co. not contractors) also did excellent work, and their commitment to cleanliness and safety was impressive. Rob G., the Installation Manager with over 20 years at the company, inspected the work and provided valuable advice on repair solutions.

My pre installment experience with The Basement Doctor has been great. Drew and Luke were thorough and informative while diagnosing the cause of my problem. Both conducted themselves with a high degree of professionalism. Michael Smith was great with the install. Professional and courteous.

Today we met with Scot for an estimate to repair a damp spot in our basement. He was very friendly and gave us honest advice. Our conversation was “neighborly” and at no point did we feel pressured to rush into a decision. It was a great experience, highly recommended!

Luke was pleasant to work with and answered all our questions.

***update*** The pump issue was solved as a pipe was too long and didn’t allow the float on the pump to come up and trigger the pump to turn on. They came out on Saturday evening and fixed it no charge.

The install crew was fantastic! The left no trace and were fast and efficient. The end result is amazing as the picture show…. The first half inch rain comes and overwhelms the pump maybe due to the power being out for 5 minutes: I was explained by the salesman the pump had a battery back as the owners manuals states but now the service tech is telling me that is an upgrade. It was installed on Tuesday and rained Friday and they want to charge me $250 to come service it after I just paid 24k for the system. Not a fan of the Basement Doctor right now.

Really enjoyed the guys that did the work! Friendly and professional! Explained the details to me and did an excellent job! Appreciated your employees! Thank you Johnny for a fantastic job! And lots of thanks to the Blueprint project with the City of Columbus!
