Contacted Don about having 2 trees cleaned up, trim out dead and raise canopies, they were out within a couple days did a great job for us, I highly recommend them!!

I choose this company after speaking Don on the phone. He was truthful and caring about what he could do to help me. It was done just like he described. I don't think you'll be sorry.

Don worked fast, did a great job cleaning up the yard after he removed a tree and three more stumps, and was by far the best price I had been quoted! Highly recommend!

I had an emergency tree service need to help me out of a bad situation where I tried to take down a tree myself. Don was able to come out immediately and take care of the situation. He was very professional and I would highly recommend that others don't make the same mistake I did and leave the tree removal work to the professionals and I will be calling Don and Double D Stump Grinding & Removal for all my future tree needs.

Don was a professional and efficient. He gave a quote and was actually lower than his initial quote. The pricing was very reasonable.

I was impressed with their work and how quickly they got the job done. I had around 8 stumps/bushes and a big tree branch removed. They did a really great job of cleaning up all the debris! The price was lower than the other estimates I received.

I called to have some large tree roots removed from a front flower bed. The roots were extremely large as they were left over from an old 40 foot pine tree. Double D’s came out to estimate the work and two days later he was there to take care of it. He took the time to go down below grade on each individual root from the tree. I can’t believe how quickly he was able to do the job. He raked the area back the level, and cleaned up all the chippings from the grass.

The work was done right in front of a large picture window. He put up a protective barrier to make sure nothing hit the window.

As he was finishing up I remembered that I had a small stump from a tree I cut down several years ago. Within 20 minutes he had that stump out and the chips raked up.

If you need stump grinding I highly recommend Double D’s. Fast, professional, and a quality job for the money. I’ll be calling in the future.

I called Don for a stump grinding estimate. He said he could come right over and arrived in 20 minutes. He gave us a reasonable price so we told him to go ahead. Within an hour, the stump was removed and the area was cleaned up.

Excellent work and fast service (day after I called) removing the rest of the roots after another tree service failed to remove anything but the top 6 inches or so of a large maple stump and roots. Friendly and fair business; thorough, expert root removal; and complete cleanup afterward!

Called Don for a quote. He called back the next day, came for a quote the day after that, and ground both stumps by day 3. He even took some left over wood left from the trees. Great guy, highly recommend.

This owner has demonstrated discriminatory behavior. In a review of his interaction with a neighbor, he refused to move his truck and made a taunting remark, saying, “your kind always act like this.” According to his own response, all that was required was for him to move his vehicle, but instead he chose to make racially charged comments and escalate the situation. If you’re comfortable hiring someone who exhibits this kind of behavior, that’s your choice—but be aware that he does not treat all people with equal respect.

Don removed a bush from the side of our house and ground out the roots. He was great - had the right equipment , was hard working, timely response, and cleaned up after. We will definitely refer him. Totally satisfied. Thanks Don.

Don did a great job taking care of a pretty gnarly stump from a storm that took out my 30 ft spruce. I was able to get a quote quickly and his price was very reasonable. Everything was cleaned up well and the area is ready to be seeded with grass. Don was super nice and communicated well throughout the process. I would not hesitate to call again if need be and I highly recommend.

This company came and did work for my neighbor. He parked the truck and trailer on the side of my house across the street from another neighbor’s house and since there was a car on the opposing side of the street my other neighbor could not get by to get home. When this neighbor approached the operator of the equipment, he started yelling at him and told my neighbor, no I will not move my truck I’ll be done in 30 minutes you’ll have to wait. Then he cursed him out a bunch and said go ahead and call the police. Eventually he agreed to move his truck but still with fighting and cursing words, took him all of 1 minute. I stepped in to stop a fight from ensuing. All of the confrontations could have been avoided had he simply just taken 1 minute to move it in the first place. His attitude and behavior will prevent me from ever hiring him even though it sounds like he does a good job. Maybe he was having a bad day, but that’s no excuse for taking it out on those around you. If you don’t care about how you’re treated verbally, then you probably won’t mind hiring this guy.

We truly owe Don everything. We had a massive silver maple taken down last year in our back yard that had grown into the chain link fence some so the tree company we hired didn’t completely grind the stump due to there being fence in the tree.

We’ve tried for months to find a tree company who would come and grind it for us with no luck. We tried to do it ourselves which went worse than trying to find a company to do it.

Don came out on Friday around 11 gave us an amazing quote and came back about two hours later and started working on the stump. And within four-five hours something that has caused us issues for months was gone and I just felt the stress come off my shoulders. Picture of what he has to deal with and a beautiful picture of it being gone! Will definitely remember Don for any future stump needs and will be suggesting him to everyone we know!

Dom was able to come out on a Saturday with short notice and help us with a project (digging a trench for rain drainage). We ran into a dense patch of roots and he helps us finish digging the canal! It was perfect, timely and reasonably priced. Couldn't be more thankful for them helping us out in a pinch.

Double D’s was absolutely amazing!! I called Saturday morning with a stump that I needed taken out immediately as I completely forgot I needed it gone! He was able to come out next day! We met at 10:30, he started around 11is and he was done before 12:30. The stump was very large and he got it about 18inches into the ground!

Absolutely loved how fast he was to get this job done! We opted to clean up the wood ourselves , but he was awesome and put everything in a pile for us! We will definitely use him for any other projects!

Don did a fantastic job. He was timely, reliable, and reasonably priced.

He provided me the option to remove or keep the wood chips. I decided to leave them bc he said they are great for growing new grass. He leveled the wood chips and provided a recommendation for grass seed.

Don was so great: efficient and professional. He gave us a quote by looking at the pictures I sent him, then came a few days later and removed six overgrown shrubs in front of the house. Then came back in two days with the tree stump removal equipment. He cleaned all of the debris with the leaf blower, so it looked awesome!
