Be careful this guy. My mistake not to clearly inquire an approximate repair cost or hourly rate in a written form. Asked $425 to just rewire a ceiling light fixture in a bedroom for 15 min. Terrible experience!

Doesn't do quality work. Very unorganized, forgetful. Doesn't complete work. Makes errors and offers to correct them but for additional money. Beware.

I have been having trouble with an exhaust fan in the bathroom. I called and explained the situation and the gentleman gave me advice over the phone on how to fix the problem. Very surprised because that is money and time out of his pocket! He could have said okay I will schedule you in and charged me but he didn’t. Thank you.

Pretty telling from the reviews the sort of company is. Furthermore, if you're driving a company vehicle, you should probably not tailgate people while also texting

Avner Co. did some electrical work during my kitchen remodeling back in 2005. At that time, I asked him to fix 2 switches along the stairway that didn't work correctly. He flatly refused & recommended to use battery-operated devices at each end of the stairway. I took his advice for granted & didn't seek a 2nd opinion.

Now in 2013 I hired an electrician from Handyman Connection who did fix the switches, and now they work as they should. Had it been done back in 2005, it would've been more cost efficient as a part of a package deal, and would've spared me a great deal of hassle dealing with this problem over the years. I wouldn't hire this company ever again.

Came to the reviews and was not surprised the slightest… I called to speak to a manager after a freeway incident with this companies vehicle, and the manager answers while still on the freeway… he almost caused an accident as the right lane was coming to an end i was forced to merge into the left, the manager of avner electric (in the company vehicle) did not let me merge in and actually sped up knowing the right lane was ending, i had to come to a complete abrupt stop on the shoulder side of the freeway after we almost crashed into each other. ignorant

Avner came to my home with his team to install new light fixtures during my remodel. He also installed a new ceiling fan and moved it about 3 feet on the ceiling to center it. He did a decent job but left a mess until he asked if I wanted him to clean it up. Well of course you need to clean up after yourself. What kind of professional asks that question.

The ceiling fan and light turns on at the same time which they should not. I have been calling Avner for over two months to fix it and he keeps putting me off stating he likes to do smaller jobs on the weekend but never shows up to do this one. He also complained that he has to rent another high ladder because it's a two story room, and that I should have told him when he was here that it wasn't correct. Are you kidding me?! He as the professional should have checked and repaired the issue while he was here. He is completely unprofessional.

I recommend you higher someone who is a professional and actually stands behind their work and fixes their errors in a timely manner. SMH

Do not do business. Worst electrician ever. Won’t listen to what you want in your home then makes up invoices for “extra” work. He subcontracts the work then when realizes he lost money by paying his workers who don’t show up and don’t work .he try’s to add charges to already existing invoices. If you want to spend more money fighting this scam artist in court and more money repairing the damages he leaves you from poor quality work then hire Avner. Save yourself the headache and look for a real professional.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!! The owner AVNER is a disaster rude screams at the workers and is NEVER ON TIME! We were given an estimate and by the time he finished the price was TRIPLE what we had agreed upon. He never gave us a work change order and just demanded we paid him the obscene amount we had never agreed to. This guy is A SCAMMER. Not only that but the actual work was a mess we had to hire another electrician to correct all the issues and we retained an attorney to assist us. A horrible experience.

Worse experience ever. Took advantage of me with my first commercial project. Charged me $25,000 for electrical work, and I still have problems up to this day… Called Avner numerous of times, and he refused to answer my calls back. The only thing he did promptly and correctly was cash the checks that he asked for. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Avner Electric. I hired them for what I expected to be straightforward electrical work, but the outcome fell far short of acceptable standards. The quality of the work performed was subpar, and I encountered multiple issues that required follow-up. Unfortunately, rather than addressing these concerns promptly, the company appeared unwilling to take accountability. It felt like my project was not a priority, despite the significant cost.

I expected a professional and efficient experience based on their reviews, but my experience was frustrating and unsatisfactory. I would not recommend Avner Electric based on my interactions.
