Reached out to HGStoneking, through the website, to repair a collapsed masonry garage wall. Got a response within the hour and got an estimate in a couple of days. Howard did an excellent job re-laying the stone and the job was done within 2 weeks of contacting him. The entire process was hassle free, and I got exactly what I wanted.

We hired Howard for two projects - retaining wall and fire pit, and our deck and he did an incredible job. The team put in long hours to get it done as quick as possible, and the quality was very good. Howard has been responsive, communicated his plans well throughout the process, and executed our vision of our backyard impressively. We are very happy with his services and would highly recommend!

Quick response to an immediate issue. Top quality work and now enjoying my fireplace once again.

Highly recommend this professional mason!!

A massive tree fell and crushed our 100-year-old stone wall. This man came and restored it with a level of skill and precision that was truly astonishing. Watching the wall come back to life felt like witnessing a lost art.

He was professional, respectful, on time, and communicated clearly every step of the way. The final result? A true, authentic stone masonry restoration.

It’s been almost a year now—and no one even realizes the wall was ever damaged. I get asked daily, “Who did you hire?”

This man.

He works like someone with 200 years of experience and knowledge in a younger body. We appreciate his craftsmanship and dedication every single day.
10/5 stars.

Replaced our deteriorating stone fireplace that was causing roof leaks. Craftsmanship work. Looks better than the original. Kept us advised of each step of the project. Extremely reliable and hardworking. Highly recommend.

We called him to finish stonework and other various projects. Very knowledgeable Had business licenses and references. Great work ethic. After being taken by other contractors it was nice to have a honest crew.

Howard Stoneking of HG Stoneking Contracting LLC did an excellent job replacing the front steps to our home. He was prompt, professional and very easy to work with. Prices were reasonable and the quality of his workmanship was amazing. Highly recommend!

Howard did an excellent job on our fireplace and chimney. We needed a full liner and reconstruction from the roof up. He sourced and installed stone for a new mantle and hearth that matched our existing stonework and cut the custom frame around the fireplace. One of the things that impressed me the most was his ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances as this project had to fix a lot of bad work done long ago. Another was his commitment to a clean work site and the use of plywood and tarps to protect our deck. Would recommend and use again for projects.

Howard was super easy to work with! I couldn’t get a contractor to help me due to the weather we were facing - the week he fixed my garage it was 5 degrees outside. He didn’t even question the weather and set everything up so he could work. I needed this done quickly, and he was able to locally source everything we needed within a day or 2 and had the garage done in under a week. The price was fair, and work was great. 10 out of 10 recommend ! Thank you!
